Seeing just one person walking towards them the Guards were surprised but they didn't doubt his strength, Cyrus had warned them to not look down on anyone and destroy anyone who tried to interfere.

Julian looked at these guards, all of them were men, strongly built and some of them had scars around their arms and cheeks stating that they were involved in knife fights meaning that they were experienced close combat fighter, these people are more dangerous than the arrogant Team Galactic grunts. ​​

Cynthia also made her way towards the Grunts who were looking at her with a huge grin on their faces, even though they know that Cynthia is the champion of the region they are still looking down on her because of they have the number advantage.

Grunt "Oye, look, its that Zoroark, looks like it is siding with the champion, have it forgotten that its family is still inside the electric cage?"

One of them said with a disgusting expression, seeing such expression would make anyone want to punch his face.

Grunt "Hey you quickly get rid of her or your pups will be torched to death by the electric cage"

He continued speaking while taking out a small remote from his pocket, seeing the remote Cynthia realized that it is remote to the cage and this man is threatening Zoroark to attack her by using his family as leverage.

Cynthia "How despicable"

She humphed angrily and stared daggers at the grunt.

This grunt seems to be the one in charge here that is also why he has the remote, seeing that the Zoroark was not listening to him the grunt got angry.

Grunt "Oy, what do you think you are doing, attack her and throw her away or face the consequence"

He said and faked pressing the button on the remote but he still saw Zoroark making no move on Cynthia, he saw Zoroark releasing a very dangerous aura around him which caused the grunt to shiver in fear, the grunt backed off with a scared expression.

He said and finally pressed the button, the next moment one could hear the sound of electric surges coming out of the maze entrance with faint white light.

But the grunts didn't hear any scream of pain coming from inside, the grunt who pressed the button looked behind towards the cave with a scared expression.

He thought that the family was dead because it didn't scream in pain, realizing that they messed up big. If they had fed the mother Zoroark and her pups they would have still been alive to use as bargain chip but they didn't and laughed at the Zoroark seeing its helplessness.

One of the grunts rushed into the maze to check out what happened while the rest of them gulped down their saliva to get rid of the dryness in their throat.

They took out their Pokeball and called out their pokemons to take on the Zoroark and the Champion, they realized that they were in no position to command the Zoroark but they still had some confidence that they might hold off against Cynthia and Zoroark due to their sheer numbers.

The grunt who went in to check on the cage came out running and tripped down on a stone, landing face-first on the rough ground.

"The Zoroark and the pups are not there in their cage"

He shouted warning the others.

Hearing this all the grunts got surprised by this, just a few minutes ago one of them saw the Zoroark's inside the cage, now one of them claims that they are not there, they couldn't figure out how was that even possible.

Without the admins present no one could have opened the cage for the Zoroark and her pups to get out of there.

Grunt "Did one of the admins took them?"

The main grunt asked but he received a no for an answer, well that doesn't matter anyway, they need to take care of the current threat.

All of them sent out their pokemon, all of these pokemons are very weak compared to Zoroark but they have the advantage in numbers, over a hundred is still a lot of an attacker like Zoroark, unlike Snorlax or Tyranitar, Zoroark cannot take direct hits from these pokemons.

Cynthia "Glaceon, you are up"

She called out her Glaceon to even up the field, Glaceon will not act as a tank but as a supporter.

Grunt "Just two won't do, bring out all of your pokemons, do you really think you can take us all with just two, hahahaha, laughable"

The leader of this group said and started to laugh, there was still fear in his voice but with hundreds of Team Galactic members backing him off, he had nothing to fear right now.

Cynthia "You overestimate yourself"

She said and looked towards Julian to see what is happening at his side, it was awfully quiet on that side so she wondered what happened, when she looked at Julian's side she saw he was already done with them, all of the guards were in deep sleep along with their pokemons.

She sighed and decided to get over with this as well.

Cynthia "Zoroark, Glaceon, let get over with this quick"

She said and began her attacks.
