Julian looked at the Zoroark, it is a male and a powerful one, the system already told him that the Zoroark is a wild pokemon meaning it has not been caught before, so he doesn't belong to Cyrus, this also made Julian wonder about why this Zoroark is really helping Cyrus and how did this Zoroark even got here.

This is not a habitat where a Zoroark thrives, they are mostly found in Unova, there have been sightings of Zoroark in Sinnoh recently meaning that they have somehow migrated over here or been introduced to Sinnoh by humans. ​​

Julian 'Cyrus mush have something on him'

He thought and called back Gengar, this will be a tough battle for Cynthia. If she loses nothing will happen but if she wins, she will get a massive boost for her team.

As Gengar stepped back Cynthia walked forward and tossed out her Pokeball, she sent out her Glaceon being an Ice-type it was suitable for this kind of climate and it could have an edge over Zoroark in this aspect to counter Zoroark's power.

Julian "Be careful, it won't be an easy opponent"

He warned her.

If she really loses and the Zoroark makes a move on her or her pokemon he will have to step in and stop Zoroark from causing further destruction.

Julian has no idea who is going to win this, of course, the Zoroark is much stronger than Cynthia's Glaceon but she didn't become a champion for no reason, she is an experienced pokemon trainer, during her time rising through the ranks she has faced opponents stronger than herself and defeated them to become a champion that she is now.

The Zoroark stares at Cynthia's Glaceon and growls showing off its sharp teeth to intimidate Glaceon but it's of no use, Glaceon has seen many scary pokemons during its time following Cynthia and helping her during her battles.

Seeing the Glaceon has no intention of backing down the Zoroark decides to attack, it uses Night Daze, its signature move, it creates a big ball of dark energy surrounded by chain-like elements, these chains are revolving around the ball separately and emitting powerful waves.

Julian is also surprised by this move, it's his first time seeing one, the Night Daze is shot at Glaceon at high speed but Cynthia has no intention of taking this hit directly, she knows she cannot risk being hit by Zoroark's moves as they all are powerful and can seriously hurt her Glaceon.

Cynthia "Glaceon dodge it"

Her Glaceon quickly moves out of the way by using the rocky walls next to it and jumping off far away from the attack, the Night Daze crashes on the rocky walls and completely destroy it showing the power behind it.

Cynthia nods her head as she made the perfect decision. If she had decided to take the attack head-on her Glaceon would have been injured.

Cynthia "Glaceon, use Icy Wind"

Hearing her Glaceon blows out Icy Wind from its mouth causing Zoroark to back off while covering his eyes, the attack didn't have much effect on him as he is a lot stronger but it did give Cynthia a chance to attack once again, during a battle one should be aware of their opponents, covering his eyes was a mistake made by Zoroark and Cynthia will exploit it.

Cynthia "Now, Icicle Spears"

Glaceon then created multiple Ice Spears, they all are long and sharp, powerful enough to take down any Elite level pokemons, Glaceon shot them at Zoroark who didn't see it coming.

The Ice Spears landed on his body causing Zoroark to back off while holding his stomach, two of the Ice Spears had landed directly on his stomach causing some damage to it, even though Zoroark have high Attack and Special Attack they lack in both their defense aspects and Cynthia knows about it, she is a Champion, after all, she has learned how to deal with all kinds of pokemon as she might encounter them.

Even Julian is not as well prepared as her when it comes to arsenals that she has, Zoroark roared and charged at Glaceon at high speed while using Night Slash, he is fast, even faster than Glaceon so Cynthia calls out her next move.

Cynthia "Use Protect"

Glaceon uses Protect and blocks of the first Night Slash but the Zoroark doesn't want to stop, he raised his claws up in the air and used another Night Slash, he wants to break the shield protecting Glaceon but Cynthia knows what she is doing.

Cynthia "Now use Charm"

Glaceon uses Charm by acting cute and winking at Zoroark, a pink aura suddenly evolves Zoroark as the power of this physical attack decrease drastically, the Night Slash that he was about to use loses lots of its power and when it strikes the shield in front of it, only little damage is done.

Cynthia has successfully cut of Zoroark's Physical Attacks now she can worry less about them but it doesn't mean the battle is over.

Cynthia "Now Ice Beam"

While the Protect is still on Glaceon uses Ice Beam, the Ice Beam hits the Protect from inside and suddenly forms an ice wall between itself and Zoroark as the Protect disappears, shattering from inside.

Julian is fascinated by seeing this, he has never seen someone use Ice Beam for defense.

Julian 'No wonder she is the Champion'

He thought and smiled.
