Cynthia couldn't believe that they were inside an illusion, it happened to her again, she had been searching for Cyrus for quite a while but every time she got close she will lose him and she found out the reason why.

Julian "It is possible but I don't understand why would he be here if he can be on top of the mountain unless the Zoroark is acting alone or someone else is commanding it"

Zoroark is not a pokemon of Sinnoh region and they don't like interaction with people and they are also very sensitive to emotions and people's feelings, they are intelligent pokemons as well, most of them would try to stay far, far away from people like Cyrus but why is it helping him.

Right now he cannot find any answer, he has to find the Zoroark and defeat it before getting out of this illusion, it could be done easily but first, he needs to find it which will be the most difficult part of the job.

Julian and Cynthia then continue their way up the mountain, they know that they are walking inside an illusion but its better than nothing, Julian told his Gengar to be on alert and take notice of anything that is happening around them.

Julian gave the ordered and Gengar didn't waste any time, he rushed out of Julian's shadow towards the direction where the pokemon is hiding, Gengar used Shadow Claw and rushed towards a huge boulder without holding back.

His speed was beyond his opponents, the Pokemon who created this illusion saw Gengar coming towards it in a blur, it knew it was in danger but it couldn't dodge Gengar's attack, it quickly destroyed its illusion and focused on protecting itself, it used Protect and blocked Gengar's Shadow Claw, the Protect was able to hold of Gengar's Shadow Claw for a few seconds before signs of cracks started to show off, the Protect finally shattered but the pokemon got enough time to make an escape.

When Julian saw the pokemon who was behind this illusion, he got surprised, he saw a Honchkrow, he is shocked, he couldn't believe what he saw.

Julian "How can a Honchkrow create illusions like this? Wait ah, how could I forget, Gengar Shadow Ball"

Gengar created several Shadow Balls and blasted it at the Honchkrow, the Honchkrow but it couldn't dodge all of the attacks, one of the Shadow Ball hit it and the Honchkrow started to fall down, it crashed on the ground and finally revealed it's true colors, the Honchkrow suddenly changed into Zoroark.

This is one of Zoroark's little tricks, they can change into other pokemons using their ability, they are even better than a Ditto at coping appearance but once they get an attack they return to their original form.

The Zoroark stood back on its feet and looked at Gengar, Julian is also surprised that this Zoroark was able to take that hit from Gengar, he could already tell that this Zoroark is stronger than a Champion level pokemon.

A wild pokemon achieving such high level is near impossible but it has been done before, there have been rumors about some wild pokemons that couldn't even be handled by the champions but they are very rare, as rare as a mythical pokemon.

Julian "If you are able to catch this Zoroark, your team's power may increase by a lot"

He said looking at Cynthia, she looked at the Zoroark and got serious, she could tell that this Zoroark is really strong but she is tempted to catch it, with Zoroark by her side and its ability to create illusions is really useful.

She said and took out a Pokeball, seeing this Julian smiled, he is not going to interfere in this battle, it was Cynthia's to win and catch Zoroark. If he interferes in between the Zoroark might not want to train under Cynthia as it would think that its trainer is weak and not worthy.

The same problem was faced by Ash as well, when a pokemon is way stronger than the capability of a trainer, they tend to ignore or even abandon and run away from them.

Cynthia needs to do this by herself.
