His thoughts were in Chaos so he decided to shut himself down and just meditate, his body started to channel Omniforce from the surrounding and hungrily started to feed on it, his body has already reached a level where pokemon attacks won't do a thing to him, he can take a direct hit from a nuclear weapon and come out without a scratch, even though his strength is limited he liked it that way, he didn't have to worry about continuously being under the pressure of keeping his specialty a secret, he always kept in mind that he was special, he cannot just go around and tell everyone he is indestructible.

The world is a terrible place, humans fear something that can suppress them, humans fear absolute power, they will rebel and turn on someone who has absolute power, so he cannot allow others to think that he is special in any way.

Yes, he has powerful pokemons but there is still an idea that he can be killed, he can be handled, he can be defeated through numbers and this kept his life at ease.

If people knew he is unkillable they will start to fear him and his powers and Julian doesn't want that, that is why he always let his pokemons do everything and not lift a finger against his opponents.

And if somehow someone found out about him he will just wipe out their memories with the help of Gengar.
