Buizel didn't stop, this pokemon of Ash seems to be very competitive, it charged towards Infernape with full speed as jets of water surrounded it, Buizel is fast but Flint's Infernape is faster, it dodged the Aqua Jet but Ash didn't stop he ordered Buizel to use Sonic Boom.

Buizel stops its Aqua Jet in mid-air and does a fast turn using its tail to lunch a Sonic Boom, the attack heads directly towards Infernape.

Seeing there is no way to escape this, Infernape blocks the Sonic Boom with its arms, the Sonic Boom sends Infernape to the ground but as the dust clears up the result is seen, Infernape has successfully blocked by it, the metal-like plate on its fist acted like armor that stopped the Sonic Boom.

Ash "Buizel, Aqua Jet, once again"

Buizel once again charges at Infernape using Aqua Jet, this time faster and stronger, seeing the attack coming, Infernape didn't want to hold back and neither did Flint.

Flint "Use Mach Punch"

To counter the Aqua Jet Infernape collected energy in its right fist and used a powerful straight punch at Buizel, the two collided and the result was obvious, Infernape floored Buizel, it's Aqua Jet collapsed and Buizel was sent flying, Buizel then did a backflip and landed on its leg's again, Buizel looked shaken from that exchange, it didn't expect to get shaken like this.

Ash "Buizel stay focused"

Buizel shook its head and got out of its state, during this time Flint could have easily taken advantage of this little thing but he didn't.

Ash "Let's go once again, Aqua Jet"

Buizel once again charged at Infernape.

His Infernape once again used Mach Punch and got ready to hit, as they got closer, Ash made another move.

Buizel suddenly used Ice Beam inside the Aqua Jet freezing the water jet around him, seeing this both Infernape and Flint were surprised by this but they can't make another move now, Infernape continued with Mach Punch.

The fist landed and the ice shattered but Buizel who was inside wasn't touched at all, the Ice was used as a shield, even Julian was impressed by this.

Ash them followed up by calling a Sonic Boom.

Buizel did a quick turn and sent a powerful Sonic Boom at Infernape, which landed right on its stomach sending Infernape flying back.

Infernape is very lightweight so an attack like this could easily send it flying, but the result is not clear until Infernape gets up, see if the Sonic Boom did any damage or not, Infernape get back to its feet and dust of the dirt from its coat, smoke is coming off Infernape's stomach, the attack has landed and the caused the damage but Flint's Infernape has taken hits way more powerful than this and stood up, Buizel's Sonic Boom was not much.

Flint "I am really impressed! If Infernape was not strong enough that would have been the end"

Ash "It's not over yet, Buizel, Water Pulse, followed by Aqua Jet"

As Ash gave the command, Buizel sent a Water Pulse at Infernape and soon followed behind it, it is a double attack.

Flint "Yes it is, Infernape, Flare Blitz"

His Infernape roared and the flame on top of its head flared up, its eyes started to burn brightly, its body got covered with bursting flames as it charged at Buizel, first Infernape came in contact with the Water Pulse and destroyed it, it then continued and clashed with Buizel.

The clash caused a huge boom, Buizel's Aqua Jet shattered and Infernape blaster Buizel to the air, Buizel crashed on the ground and got knocked out, it was over and Ash's first pokemon is down.

Julian 'Ash really has improved a lot, to land that powerful hit on Flint's Infernape is really impressive and there is still a lot of time to improve before the league starts'
