Journey Towards Greatness Chapter 407

Through his search online, Julian found many possible sites that could harbor these ancient shrines and temples of Giratina and one of them is very close to Eterna City. Since it is very close he decided to visit this temple of Giratina.
At ancient times many worshipers of Giratina used to pray Giratina but as time passed and people started to civilize and war faded away, people also started to move away from Giratina and looked down on the remaining people who still worshiped Giratina.
This soon caused more people to abandon Giratina and choose the others to worship, as time passed Giratina was forgotten by many, most of the people in the world only think that there are only two deities that are Dialga and Palkia, even if some people argue about it they have no proof about Giratina's existence.
Throughout history Dialga and Palkia have left a mark behind mankind leaving several proofs about their existence, but about Giratina there is none, that is why many people think it's just a pokemon the older generation came up with to install balance and fear among the commoners.
There are also people in this world that questions the existence of Arceus, the proof of its existence is completely unknown, it's even more mysterious than Giratina's.
But people need something to believe in, they want to believe something created their universe so even without any proof of its existence people still believe that Arceus exist.
After looking through satellite maps Julian finally had a rough idea of where this abandoned temple could be, wasting no time he got up from his chair and walked out of the door and put on his mask, after checking out of the hotel, he got on his bike and was about to leave when he suddenly received a call, he took out his phone and saw that the call is from Cynthia, he picked up the call.

Cynthia "Hello? Julian"
A voice came from the other end.
Julian "Yes?"
Cynthia "Good, I was able to find Cyrus's hideout, after doing some investigation I found nothing, but I had to get my hands dirty and extract information from someone from the underworld but I got something, Cyrus has been importing lots of machines from foreign regions through the underworld so he has no record of it under his name, he has been doing this for years, planning to do something that even the underworld is unaware of but I was able to find his hideout at least, I am taking a team of elite trainers and raiding his hideout"
Julian "Good, update me after you find something"
He said and put the phone away.
Julian 'Looks like I did good on handing it over to Cynthia, the league is useless but she is able to do the right thing even if it means to go against the league to do so, I hope she will be able to bring down Cyrus so that idiot can rot in jail while I take down this cult'
He thought and drove off towards the temple.
The temple he is searching right now is very close to the city, the forest on the east side of the city is where the temple is out, he has found some possible map coordinates to which he should be able to track down the table.
He soon arrived at the forest, he wasted no time and started to find the coordinates on the map, one of the hardest things is to find the land that is displayed on the map coordinates inside a forest, after a long tedious search he finally came across the thing he has been looking for.
Two old broken down pillars covered with moss, he could see nothing else but these two broken pillars but he knew he is right above the temple and there have been some visitings to this site.

He found some parts of the land that is not covered with grass while the others are, this part seems very suspicious so he digs it up to find an entrance just as he expected.
Julian 'I finally found one'
He thought and removed the iron barrier that was blocking the way, as he started to walk down this small entrance he started to smell something funny, and the deeper he went the smell started to get worse and the frown on his face started to grow.
Once he finally reached the main temple and what he saw shocked him, he saw rotting headless bodies around this dark room, a huge statue of Giratina and in front of it is a large bowl filled with smelly clotted blood.
He black robes that these men were wearing, Julian could tell they were the part of the cult and they were killed as sacrifices for beliefs they made for themselves, even Julian felt disgusted by seeing this.
Julian 'This is disgusting, I really don't know what I will do if I see this cult in real life, I don't want to go back to killing once again, once I kill there will be no turning back'
Julian thought and started to look around the room to find something useful and he did.
He found an old map with red markings on them, Julian realized that these are the other temples that Giratina was worshiped in, after searching for a few more minutes and finding nothing he walked out of this rotting disgusting room.
He put the iron bars back and covered it will the mud he dugout.
Julian 'I hope no one finds this place'
He thought and put the map away and rode off, seeing such a disgusting scene made him feel awful.

Disclaimer of sorts: I am non-native English writer that used to write mostly for himself. After my last computer decided to die on me taking all my works with it I lost the desire to write for quite a long time. This is my attempt to go find motivation to write again as this was my favourite hobby. The idea is to be held accountable. As for being non-native, I don't believe that should be a major issue as I feel my proficiency in English to be sufficient enough to not be too much of the distraction. That said, be forewarned that the rules governing punctuation are beyond my grasp. All I can do is try not to completely suck at that. As mentioned this is an attempt to motivate me to write again so any message, encouragement or constructive criticism will go long way.
