Floatzel moved fast and dived into the water dodging the Thunderbolt and disappeared from Luxio's sight.

He knew Floatzels can move very silently inside water making them the perfect ambush hunters in water, Luxio still cannot use his eyes to see through things like his evolution, and being on a floating platform really limits his senses, he cannot pinpoint his opponent who is underwater but he isn't worried, being an electric type comes with some nice move sets.

As soon as Floatzel comes out and tries to land a heavy blow on Luxio on his blind spot, Julian is already on Floatzel.

Julian "Now, Discharge"

As Luxio hears Julian, he doesn't even care about his opponent and just uses Discharge sending wide-area lightning bolts everywhere and one of the caught Floatzel.

Floatzel didn't expect this, it got zapped hard and crashed back into the water but it was not over there, the electricity continued zapping it underwater which is being released by Luxio.

After Luxio stops, Floatzel slowly rises to the surface, exhausted and hurt, as it doesn't have a high Special Defense it couldn't take that Discharge at point-blank range.

They now have to make another strategy to take down Luxio.

With Julian's command, Luxio charged towards the wounded Floatzel using the floating platforms, seeing Luxio making a physical move both Wake and Floatzel are surprised but this was also their chance, they cannot let go of this opportunity, their opponent isn't even using an Electric-type attack which won't cause heavy damage to Floatzel.

Floatzel surrounds itself in a layer of water and shoots towards Luxio at high speed, both of them are running towards each other and they are about to clash, as they get very close to each other, Luxio suddenly slows down and his long sharp claws that are hidden inside his paw comes sticking out sparking with electricity.

As Julian says this, Luxio jumps up and get over and on top of Floatzel while it's still using Aqua Jet and digs his claw and grabs onto Floatzel, soon after Floatzel gets electrocuted crazily and with the water covering its body the effect is doubled, causing Floatzel to come crashing down over the water.

Luxio get's off Floatzel and jumps on top of the floating platform near him and stares into the water, Luxios generate and store their electricity in their paws which circulate through their claws, so getting directly in tough with them can be devastating.

With that attack that came out of nowhere there is no way Floatzel could survive that, and as Julian had expected Floatzel surfaced to the top completely fainted.

Referee "Floatzel is unable to battle, Luxio wins, hence the winner of this battle is the challenger"

The referee gave her result hence closing this battle, Luxio is tired as he used too much of his electricity, he slowly walks back to Julian.

Julian smiles and pats his head.

Julian "You did great, you can rest now"

He said and sent Luxio back to his Pokeball.

Crasher Wake looked at his unconscious Floatzel and sighs, he sends it back to its Pokeball and looks at Julian.

Wake "You are very strong, I didn't stand a chance"

Wake said and took out a badge and tossed it towards Julian, Julian snatched it out of the air and looked at Fen Badge, it's a round blue and silver badge, Julian smiles and walks out of the gym.

As he had expected this battle will be over soon, these type of trainers are very easy to handle for Julian because they only rely on brute force, yes it may work if the opponent is weak but if the opponent is very strong its just digging up their own grave, but Julian has nothing to complain about everyone has their own battle style and if they and their pokemon are comfortable with it he has nothing to care about it.

He heads back to his hotel room to check out and leave, after entering the hotel he soon checks out and gets on his bike and is ready to leave, but suddenly he was stopped at the end of the city's exit by Officer Jenny.
