Julian "Ok then let's start with the basic"

Julian said and started to train Riolu, Riolu has a high attack stats right now but her defense is lacking as she still doesn't have her steel typing which she will gain after evolving after she evolves, with her evolution, she will also get a large boost in special attack and her defense.

Julian now decided to work on her defense for now because her Attack and Speed are at a good state for now.

First, he started with a physical workout to build some strength then carried on with training her Aura, Riolus are special pokemon that can channel Aura, which makes them special as they can use this aura as shock waves or a way to slow down or weaken incoming attacks.

He then moved on training her body near her limit for the first day.

Riolu is exhausted from all that hard training, she never felt this exhausted in her life, she realized how hard it is to get stronger, all of Julian's pokemon can train three times her amount, she realized her previous training was near useless compared to what she is doing now.

Julian noticed this and patted her head.

Julian "Don't worry about it much, its always hard at the beginning, you will soon get used to it, and you are already strong, you have learned to channel your Aura into physical form, that is a huge accomplishment"

Julian praised her and gave her some MooMoo milk to drink, MooMoo milk is the best source of protein in the pokemon world that is why Miltanks are so expensive, they cannot be found in the wild, and Miltank breeders are very rich due to their high demand, their milk products are of high quality and expensive as well, not many people can drink them on daily basis, so normal cattle milk are still sold in stores across the world.

After finishing up a whole bottle of milk Riolu smiles happily, Julian then lets her rest, he starts to prepare something nutritious of his pokemon after that, soon Riolu will have sore muscles so giving her nutritious food will help in recovering her muscles.

His other pokemons also eat nutritious food daily that is why they have been growing strong and big at the same time.

After they had their lunch Julian let the little ones play along for a while and let them digest their food.

After an hour passed.

Julian clapped his hand.

Julian "Riolu come here"

Julian called Riolu, who is enjoying bouncing on top of Snorlax's belly with Gible and Crystal, Riolu jumped down and ran towards Julian and stood in front of him.

Julian "So do you want to have a battle with someone?"

He asked.

He knows that Riolu is not ready to face off against any of his pokemon but watching her battle will really give him some insight on her, he had done the same with Shinx when he took him in.

Riolu nodded as she also wanted to have a battle with one of her new friends.

Julian "Ok so who do you want to battle?"

He asked and looked around, Riolu also looked around and pointed at Gible.

Julian was surprised by this choice, Gible is the strongest one of them all without Crystal in the list, Crystal is just a cheat but Gible is actually not that far behind it, Gible is very cunning in his strategies, even though Crystal is a lot stronger than Gible, they have a record of 2-3 between their battles, where three wins belong to Gible because he was able to trick Crystal and take it by surprise.

Crystal is a powerhouse but Gible is a tactician with lots of power behind his attacks as well.

Julian "Gible, Riolu is new so don't overdo it, ok"

Gible nodded and walked towards Riolu and accepted her challenge.

Julian "Ok, this is just a mock battle, when I say stop both of you will stop, do you understand?"

Both of them nodded their heads and looked at each other.

Julian "Then you may begin"

With that, the mock battle started.

Riolu started first as she charged towards Gible as she made a small baton from her Aura and swung it at Gible, Gible just moved to the side, avoiding the straight frontal attack from Riolu.

Seeing this Julian quickly started to take notes on how Riolu moves and how she attacks.

Julian 'Her movement is great but her attack is sloppy and her whole frame is exposed to being attacked by a special move, Gible could have just ended the battle there'

He continued observing as Riolu swung her baton all over the place trying to hit Gible, but Gible is slippery, with simple movements of his legs he moves around the field with no effort.

As Riolu get tired after swinging the baton many times, Gible moves in and uses Iron Head, seeing the incoming attack, Riolu puts her baton in front of her to defend it.

She successfully defends it but her baton shatters into fragments and disappears, she gets tired after this, it took out a lot from her to stop that attack from Gible.

Julian "Ok that's enough"

Julian gives the command to end the battle, Riolu sits on the ground and huffs in deep breaths.

Julian "Riolu you did well for your battle against Gible, now I know what you should concentrate on in your training, in no time you will be able to join your friends in their sparring session"

Julian said.

Hearing this Riolu got excited and forgot about her lost to Gible.

Julian just smiled seeing this.

Tomorrow will be the day he will challenge the gym and his pokemon are ready.
