Julian arrives in front of Hearthome city, just like he expected its a massive city with lots of pokemons and people living here, this city is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Sinnoh because of its Super contest hall, even though it's not an official contest the performance held here is always first class, many people seem to enjoy it, there is a contest held here every week here and there never seems to be a decline in the audience, people from the city and travelers come here daily.

There are other attractions here as well. ​​

He put on his cloth mask and entered the city, he heard people talking about an official contest is being held here in two days.

Julian was surprised by this, the super contest hall was a tourist attraction so an official contest being held here was a surprise to him.

He then decided to go and check on the gym present here, when he reached the gym he noticed that it is closed, he saw a middle-aged man who seems to be the caretaker of this gym.

Julian "Where is the Gym leader?"

Man "Oh, the gym is closed for a few days, miss Fantina is out training and trying to find a unique battle style for herself"

Julian "I see, do you perhaps know when she will be back?"

Man "I don't know, it might take her 3-4 days I guess, its already been a week since she left"

Julian "I understand"

Julian says and walked away.

He didn't know where this gym leader has gone so he has to wait before he could challenge her and win his third badge.

Since there is no gym to challenge right now, he decided to enjoy looking around the city and see what is special about this city.

He first gets a room in a hotel, his identity has to be revealed to get a room so he had to show his face while giving his ID card, he asked the people in the hotel to be quiet about his visit, he doesn't know if they will do as he said or not, but it will surely reduce down the spread of rumors.

He then got out of the hotel on legs and decided to take a look around the city slowly, as he knows he will stay in this city for quite a while.

The city was very big so he cannot cover it on legs within just one day but he didn't mind, he let out Infernape because it was his turn to come out of his Pokeball, Julian doesn't always keep them in their Pokeball, since he cannot bring them all out at once, he brings them out of their Pokeball one after the other for few days.

The only ones that don't need a Pokeball are Gengar and Crystal, Crystal is very small and will fit in his pocket and it seems to like staying there and Gengar spends most of his time in Julian's shadow or will be in its own dimension.

Infernape looked around and saw they are in a new city now, he follows Julian as they walk around and look around the city.

After looking around for an hour Julian sits down on a desk with Infernape, he has bought something to eat and gives a little to Crystal who pops its head out to grab a bite of whatever Julian has bought.

Infernape also gets one as he eats it happily, Julian smiles seeing this, Infernape always looks like a responsible big brother for all of Julian's pokemon but at the end of the day, he is still young.

Crystal also happily nimble on the big piece of sweet bread that Julian gave it to eat.

While it's bust eating, it didn't notice a pair of eyes hidden inside the bush on the side of the road are glued on its sweet bread, suddenly a shadow blur is seen and it takes away Crystal's sweet bread away.

Crystal seems surprised by the sudden disappearance of its sweet bread, it then looks at the directing it saw the blur going and saw a small pokemon with blue and black fur with Crystal's sweet bread in its mouth.

Crystal gets angry seeing this pokemon stole its food and chased after it.

Julian is also surprised by this, he didn't notice the Shinx at all as he was busy looking around the place, and there are lots of pokemon here so he had no clue when it came and took away Crystal's sweet beard.

Julian "Crystal wait"

Julian said and went behind Crystal and followed by Infernape.

The Shinx ran and ran until it reached near a manhole, it turned around and looked at Crystal and teased it and went into the manhole.

Crystal got angry and chased after the Shinx into the manhole.

Julian sighed seeing this.

Julian "Looks like we have to go in as well"

Infernape also sighs and nodded.

Julian and Infernape then entered the manhole behind Crystal and Shinx.

Julian saw Crystal chase after Shinx and using Thunder Shock on Shinx but Shinx seems to be very familiar with the terrain so it dodged all of Crystal's attack and kept running.

Julian "Infernape you are up, no, wait let Crystal handle this, it still needs some training"

Julian thought of getting this done by Infernape interfering but he stopped there as he wants Crystal to solve this on its own.

Julian "Let's just follow them and watch what Crystal does"

Infernape nodded and burned a little brighter to light up this abandoned underground tunnel.
