Both Gible and Rampardos ran towards each other and clashed their head with their moves, Gible was sent rolling back from that exchange.

Rampardos charged towards Gible once again but he quickly used Dig and dodged the attack,
Roark "Rampardos, be ready when you feel it"
Rampardos suddenly jumped high up in the air with the help of his powerful legs and looked down, as it expected Gible came out of the ground.

Gible didn't come out of his hole and blasted a powerful Dragon Breath at Rampardos, it didn't expect Gible to not get out of the ground and attack with a Dragon Breath, Rampardos's Special Defense is not high so getting hit by any more Dragon Breath will cause it to go down soon.

Gible comes out of the ground and charges towards Rampardos using Dragon Claw.

Rampardos somehow got up and used its leg to turn around as fast as possible and attacked Gible with Iron Tail.
The two attacks clashed and caused a small shock wave, Rampardos got the upper hand and Gible was sent rolling on the ground.

Rampardos roared and rushed recklessly at Gible, Thrash can cause a lot of damage if connected but if missed the user would get confused.
Julian knew he got the chance, he cannot let Gible exchange physical attacks with Rampardos, the best way is to make it hurt itself.

Gible stopped rolling by using his legs and once again rushed towards Rampardos.

And he did, as Rampardos's head was about to connect Gible moved to the side and landed a Dragon Claw right below its spiky knee causing Rampardos to lose balance and crash down hard on the ground.
As it got up it fell into confusion.

Gible landed an Iron Head right on Rampardos's back and sent it crashing on a boulder, it struggled to get up but the battle has already been decided.
Julian "Finish this, Dragon Breath"
Gible blasted his final move, Blue flame-like beam engulfed Rampardos and caused an explosion, as the smoke cleared out Rampardos is found fainted.
Referee "Rampardos is unable to battle, Gible wins. The winner of this battle is the challenger"
The old man announced the results.
Roark sighed.
The result was obvious from the start, it didn't mean that Roark's pokemon are not strong, his Onix and Rampardos were stronger that Gible but his opponents battle style was more unique and he was always two steps ahead of Roark, anticipating all his moves.
He walked towards Julian and handed him the Coal Badge.
Roark "Looks like I still have a lot to learn"
Julian "You are good, just rough around the edges"
Roark "What's your name by the way?"
Roark asks as he still doesn't know who this masked man is, Julian takes off his mask and shows his face to Roark.
Seeing who it is Roark is shocked, he couldn't believe what his eyes are seeing.
Roark "You are the champion, Julian"
He shouted.
Julian "I am not a champion, I was one"
Roark "I cannot believe I had a battle with you I am a very big fan of yours"
Julian "Ok"
Julian nodded his head.
Roark "By the way, why did you cover your face?"

Julian "So that you won't get intimidated and don't give your all during our battle"
Julian stated his reason.
Roark nodded.
He understood why Julian said so.
If Julian had not covered his face he might get intimidated and not give his all and he knows it will happen to him.
Julian "Ok I will be going then"
Julian said and walked away with Gible who is dancing around after his awesome victory.
Outside the gym, Julian gets on his bike and rides off to his hotel room.
After reaching there he opens his laptop and started to look around the internet and find his next destination.
After looking for a while he decided to go to Eterna City as there are a lot of pokemons sightings between Oreburgh city and Eterna City.
Julian "So my next destination is Eterna city, the gym there is a Grass-type gym, I have to try finding a fire type pokemon"
Luckily for Julian, there are some high-temperature areas on this route, he will surely find a good fire type pokemon, he wants to find a Magby as it would put a powerful Special Attacker in his team.
