Ash's Pikachu is ready to battle Gardevoir, he has trained a lot and wants to battle against a powerful opponent.

Julian, on the other hand, is surprised by this choice, he thought that Pikachu will be his last pokemon as he noticed he has developed the most out of the other pokemon Ash has. ​​

Julian 'Which pokemon will he use for the final round? Well looks like I have to knock out Pikachu for that'

Ash "Pikachu, use Quick Attack"

Pikachu charged towards Gardevoir as he left a light trail behind him, he moved side to side to avoid any sudden attacks from Gardevoir.

Julian "Magical Leaf"

Gardevoir raised her hand and suddenly leaves started to revolve around her, she then sent it towards Pikachu, Magical Leaf cannot be dodged so Pikachu has to confront it.

Ash "Pikachu, Thunderbolt"

Pikachu sent a powerful lightning strike and burnt down the Magical Leaf into ashes, he then continued to charge towards Gardevoir while using Quick Attack.

Pikachu arrived right at the side of Gardevoir and charged towards her, Gardevoir moved back and dodged the attack but Pikachu once again turned towards her as he landed on the ground and successfully landed a blow on her.

Gardevoir is sent back flying but she uses her Psychic energy to stabilize her self and landed gracefully back to her feet.

Julian "Psyshock"

Gardevoir sent a powerful Psyshock towards Pikachu.

Ash "Pikachu dodge using Quick Attack then use Iron Tail"

Pikachu dodged the Psyshock by using Quick Attack and rushed towards Gardevoir again, his Tail started to cover with Steel energy as he reached near Gardevoir, he jumped and swung his tail towards Gardevoir.

Julian "Teleport"

Gardevoir suddenly disappeared from her spot and Pikachu hit thin air and crashed on the ground.

Julian "Psychic"

Gardevoir suddenly appeared behind Pikachu and sent a powerful wave of Psychic blast towards Pikachu and sent him rolling on the ground.

Ash "Pikachu get up"

Pikachu kept rolling but he used Iron Tail and slammed it on the ground to stop himself and got back to his feet and shook his body to get rid of the dirt on him.

Ash "Great, Pikachu Thunder"

As Ash gave the command Pikachu stood on his hind legs and sent a massive thunderbolt up in the sky, suddenly the sky above started to go dark as lightning clouds started to accumulate on top.

Julian looked at the lightning cloud and got impressed by how much power it holds.

Suddenly a bolt of massive lightning came tearing down on Gardevoir.

Julian "Counter with Moon Blast"

Gardevoir created a huge energy ball that looked like a moon, then a white beam got shot from it and confronted the massive bolt of lightning.

As the two attacks clashed the whole stadium vibrated from the impact, the air inside the stadium went crazy and blown away outside before it got filled again, the audiences are safe behind the protection of the stadium.

The ground beneath which had already turned into rubbles now started to come apart from the impact.

Ash "Pikachu Iron Tail"

As the blast was still taking place, Pikachu charged towards Gardevoir and appeared right above her and swung his tail towards her.

Julian "Teleport, the Psychic"

Gardevoir once again used Teleport and appeared right above Pikachu and sent another blast of powerful Psychic energy towards Pikachu.

Pikachu is sent blasting on the ground and crashed, dust filled the battlefield and everyone is waiting in anticipation.

As the smoke cleared Pikachu could be seen on the ground and Gardevoir still standing, as the Referee came in and was about to declare the result Pikachu got up and sent a bolt of powerful lightning up the sky, soon a thunder could appear once again and then a bolt of massive lightning fell down.

This time not on Gardevoir but on Pikachu himself.

Julian 'I think his hidden ability Lightning Rod got unlocked'

Julian is indeed right, Pikachu is now completely immune to any electric type moves plus getting attacked by an electric type move will increase his special attack.

Pikachu's body released waves of electric current as he looked at Gardevoir, his eyes showed the will to battle to the end.

Julian is really impressed by how far Pikachu and Ash as really come, the toughest opponent of anyone in Julian's team is Gardevoir. First, she has enormous firepower, second, she can easily teleport and escape any kind of attack, even if she has low defense stats what's the use when no one can hit her, people would rather face his Tyranitar, Sceptile or Metagross then battle against Gardevoir.

Ash "Pikachu, let's go all out Thunder"

Pikachu released another thunderbolt at the sky which causes the already existing cloud to rumble more.

Julian "Gardevoir set up Future Sight, then Teleport to dodge the Thunder"

Gardevoir rises her hand and suddenly huge purple eyes appear on top of her head and locks onto Pikachu then it disappears.

As the lightning strikes down Gardevoir uses Teleport and moves away from the target point.

The Lightning hit the battlefield and makes a huge gaping pit right in the middle of the battlefield, the ground is charred black as the smell of the burnt ground drifted across the battlefield.

Ash "Pikachu Discharge"

Pikachu releases another powerful attack but this time its an all area attack, lightning bolts fly everywhere and try to hit Gardevoir, but she keeps moving around while using Teleport and moving around.

Ash "Pikachu full power"

Pikachu suddenly increases his output and suddenly his lightning expands like an explosion covering the whole battlefield like a wide area blast.

Gardevoir couldn't dodge this and get electrocuted by the powerful electricity and fall down on the ground.

Suddenly four purple eyes appear right next to Pikachu.

Ash "What's that"

Before Pikachu and Ash could tell what is happening the four eyes shoots a powerful beam from four directions, directly hitting Pikachu.

The whole stadium is covered with a cloud of smoke shaped like an inverted bowl, nobody knows what the result is as both pokemon got hit by very powerful moves.

As the smoke soon rose up the sky clearing the battlefield everyone could see Pikachu has fainted and Gardevoir is breathing heavily and some scratches could be seen on her.

Julian 'Gardevoir's massive Special Defense really saved her, or there would have been no way to escape that powerful Discharge'

Julian thought.

Julian 'Looks like they have grown more than I thought'

Gardevoir used Heal Pulse on her self and returned back to her original self.

This is also one of the reasons why Gardevoir is the toughest pokemon for Julian's opponent to battle, she can easily heal herself back to her peak condition.

The referee walks in and carefully checks if Pikachu is out or not, after confirming he is, he gives the confirmation.

Referee "Pikachu is unable to battle, Gardevoir wins"

Ash sighed and heads towards Pikachu and picks him up.

Pikachu opens his eyes and looks at Ash with sad eyes.

Ash "Pikachu you did your best, the opponent was just a little stronger, next time we will definitely get them"

Pikachu nodded and Ash walked back to his side and put Pikachu to the side so he could rest.

He then looked at Julian and took out his final Pokeball.

Julian "This is your last pokemon, are you sure you want to continue"

Ash "I have not given up yet"

Julian "Then bring it on".
