Julian "Let's finish this, Flygon fly towards Drapion"

Flygon listened to Julian and flew towards Drapion by taking a sharp turn in the air causing Abomasnow to lose its footing as it tried to follow Flygon. ​​

Drapion who is trying to grab Sceptile is getting tired, no matter how hard it tried Sceptile is too fast for it to grab on.

Julian "Sceptile Dual Chop"

As Julian said this, Sceptile bent down and dodged the right swing from Drapion and then targeted its legs, his hand glows blue and he went in straight to Drapion's legs, two powerful Dragon Chops, one targeting each of its front legs caused Drapion to lose balance and fall face first on the ground.

Julian "Flygon, use Earthquake, Sceptile jump on Flygon"

Flygon shot towards the ground as his legs started to glow brown, Sceptile jumped and landed on the back of Flygon and Flygon landed on the ground, as he did, he sent tremors on the ground causing the whole battlefield to rumble, Drapion couldn't take this Earthquake and get severely injured and gets knocked out.

Abomasnow also got hurt and lost its balance and fell on the ground.

Julian "Now X-Scissor"

Flygon flew up in the air and carried Sceptile, Sceptile the jumped off from Flygon and fell towards Abomasnow as his two blades glow.

He uses X-Scissor and falls directly on Abomasnow and plants it deeper into the ground.

Abomasnow faints as well.

Sceptile gets back on the ground along with Flygon, they have won.

The whole stadium is in awe seeing the teamwork of Sceptile and Flygon, they couldn't believe what they just saw.

Referee "Drapion and Abomasnow are unable to battle, Sceptile and Flygon wins, the trainer who advances is Julian"

Announcer "ITS OVER, what a battle that was, such grace and power behind each move, really remarkable, both trainers did their best but at last Julian still remains undefeated."

The crowd burst into cheers.

Julian also had fun during this battle, he didn't expect Barbara to perform so well against him, even though she wasn't able to land any hit, she still countered many of his moves.

Julian "You both did great"

Julian said and called back his pokemons, he then walked towards Barbara and looked at her.

Barbara seemed down as she couldn't put up a good battle for her idol, then she suddenly noticed Julian approaching her.

She panicked and didn't know what to do, then she noticed him extending his hand for a handshake, she froze.

She put up the courage and shook his hand.

Julian "You are really a good trainer, you came up with good counters, keep doing what you are doing and you will become much stronger"

Julian said and walked away.

Barbara stared at her hand and recalled the words Julian said to her just now, she then looked up and saw him exiting the stadium.

Barbara 'I promise I will become strong and I hope I can battle you someday again'

Julian walked out of the stadium and saw many people around him looking at him and calling out his name, few news reporters rushed towards him and started to ask questions.

News Reporters "Sir Julian, do you plan to battle the elite four after you win the league?"

Julian "I don't know, I haven't decided yet, maybe I might just a request for an exhibition match from them"

News Reporters "Sir don't you want to become the champion of Hoenn?"

Julian "No, I don't think I am the right person to be a champion, the champion you have right now is a responsible and capable champion, I don't want to take it away"

News Reporters "Sir, why did you relinquish your title of the champion of Kanto"

Julian "As I said before, I really don't fit the role of a champion and I am still young to be stuck in a single region, I want to travel around the world and explore lands that have never been explored, find new pokemons, that's what I want and that's what I will do"

Julian "Ok, I will take my leave then"

Julian said and walked away as he found Daisy and Chloe waiting for him, the news reporters tried to ask him more questions but he kindly rejected them.

They left to the room that was assigned to them, the day came to an end as the sun set down, Julian's journey in Hoenn is slowly coming to an end.
