The day is here when the best 256 trainers in Hoenn is going to battle against each other so they can advance to the top 32 of Hoenn in the league.

Being in the top 32 means a trainer will have more fame and power, all the trainers at least want to enter the top 32 so they won't be looked down by the masses. ​​

Julian is currently sitting in front of a computer and check out his opponent for today's double battle, his opponent seems to be a woman named Barbara, she seems to be a mix trainer just like him so he has no idea what pokemon she is going to use.

Julian "Who should I choose for today's double battle?"

Julian thought for a while and finally decided, he is going with Sceptile and Flygon, they both are going to cover each other's weakness unless they encounter an Ice-type but Julian still has plans for that.

Julian "Let's go, its already time, the Qualifiers has already begun"

Yes, the battle for the Qualifiers has already begun and Julian's battle is the last one of the day, he asked Chloe and Daisy to go forward and watch the battle while he checks on his opponents profile.

Soon Julian arrived at stadium 2 of the five stadiums in the outer circle, this is where his battle is going to take place, he soon arrived in the VIP room where he saw Daisy and Chloe sitting and watching the battle.

Julian "How long has it been?"

Chloe "It just began, but I can't see that Ash's match card anywhere"

Julian "His battle must have been transferred into another stadium, meaning we won't meet each other in battlefield soon"

Daisy "Come, let's watch, I was getting bored without you"

Julian "Ok"

Julian joined them and started to watch the battle.

All the double battle he watched were actually good, the trainers were strong and one trainer even Mega Evolved his pokemon which got a huge cheer from the crowd, it was a Mega Aggron.

Chloe "I didn't expect to see a Mega Evolution so early in the league"

Daisy "Well, so many trainers had gone crazy when it was announced and everyone wanted to get one so I am not surprised to find a trainer with a Mega Stone"

Julian "That's true, many trainers in the league might have Mega Stones and Keystones to mega evolve their pokemon"

Julian, Chloe, and Daisy watched the battle one after another and soon Julian's queue is up.

Julian "Ok I will be going"

Julian got up, kissed them and walked away.

Daisy/Chloe "Don't destroy the battlefield"

Julian just sighed and smiled at them and went towards the waiting room.

As his battle is the last one of the day in Stadium 2, workers of the Devon corporation are already on the move and setting up thing to broadcast his battle.

As he is inside the waiting room and his eyes closed, he is clearing his mind so he can concentrate on the battle.

Soon a man comes in a informs him that the battle is about to start.

Julian "I will be there"

Julian says and sends the man away.

As he hears the announcer start his announcement he gets up and walks towards an underground elevator which will automatically elevate him on the battlefield, he stands there and waits for his call.

On the empty battlefield and the audience around it, everybody is silent as they wait of the trainers to appear on the battlefield.

Announcer "Now, its time, the final battle of the day, I know everyone in this stadium is waiting for this battle for quite a long time, now without any further a dew let's introduce our first trainer, she is a trainer who made into the top 32 of the previous Ever Grande conference, she has a reputation of having fierce battle with her opponents, all her pokemons are fierce and powerful, now please welcome our first trainer, Barbara."

As the announcer finished his announcement, the part of the stadium opened up and soon a woman with purple hair, purple dress, and purple lips, her eyes look fierce, just like the announcer described her to be.

The crowd cheered as she appeared.

Announcer "Now, Introducing, well, to be honest, this person needs no introduction, he is the one who is favored to win this years league in style and dominance, please welcome, Julian"

As the announcer finished his introduction Julian also rose up from the underground and looked around.

The people in the audience went crazy as he arrived, they shout his names and the women in them asked him to marry them, of course, this pisses of Daisy and Chloe but they tolerate it as they know they are just fans.

The Referee soon walks in and looks at Julian and Barbara.

Referee "This battle will be a double battle, both trainers will use two pokemon at the same time when both pokemons of a trainer are unable to battle they lose and will be eliminated from the league"

As the Referee went through the rules Julian started at his opponent, she seems to be not nervous at all but from the inside, she is screaming, for completely two different reasons, first is that she is currently standing in front of her idol and is going to have a battle with him, this is her dream and it is coming true. Second, she is crushing her bad luck that she has to face Julian before the top 32 even began.

A trainer will be going home even if they lose a single battle and Barbara knows she has no chance.

Well, at least she is being sent home by her Idol so she is a little happy inside.

Julian was getting confused by seeing Barbara as he could not pinpoint what Barbara was thinking, just a second ago he felt that she is nervous, her mood changed and she became happy, then she became mad, then she became happy.

Since he could not tell what is going through her mind he decided to ignore her.

Julian 'Well, she might at least put up a decent battle'.
