Samual "This is going to be fun"

It is indeed a high scale battle, two Dark-type pokemons with mysterious powers facing each other, Absol could sense disasters and Zoroark could create an illusion to fool its opponents, while on the other side are two middle stage pseudo-legendary facing each other. ​​

Julian couldn't have asked for a perfect opponent before he challenges the gym and also stimulate Metang's evolution.

Samual "Let me start the battle, Zoroark, use Night Daze, Zweilous assist Zoroark with Dragon Breath"

Zoroark raised its hand and created a black smog with went straight towards Absol, Zweilous followed up with a powerful Dragon Breath from its two heads.

Julian "Absol use Protect, Metang, deflect the Dragon Breath with Flash Cannon"

As Night Daze was about to hit Absol he suddenly created a layer of a protective shield in front of him and escaped from the Night Daze, Metang took the sky and launched a powerful Flash Cannon towards the Dragon Breath from above and completely decimated it.

Julian "Metang use Bullet Punch on Zweilous, Absol stay close to Metang"

Metang charged towards Zweilous as he used the thrust from his psychic energy to move very fast, Absol is pretty quick as well and managed to stay close to Metang.

Samual "Not so fast, Zoroark, defend Zweilous use Night Slash on Metang. Zweilous use Double Team"

Julian "Absol counter with Night Slash as well"

As Zoroark was about to hit Metang, Absol interfered and both Night Slash clashed with each other, they were equally powerful but Absol soon got the upper hand because his Ability kicked in.

Justified - It rises Absol's attack whenever he gets hit by a Dark-type move.

Zoroark was sent tumbling back but it did a role and got back to its feet, Zweilous which used double team made multiple copies of itself to confuse Metang but Metang did care about it. Since he couldn't find the real Zweilous he used Bullet Punch on the ground sending tremors over the whole area causing Zweilous to get startled and tumble on the ground.

Julian "Metang now Metal Claw"

Since Zweilous is now vulnerable, Metang quickly used Metal Claw and hit Zweilous hard and sent it rolling on the ground.

Samual "Zoroark use Agility, quick assist Zweilous"

Zoroark used agility to increase its speed and charged towards Metang to protect Zweilous from him, even though Zweilous is strong it is not as fast a Metang and after getting hit by Metang's attack the two heads started to quarrel.

Julian "Absol block Zoroark from interfering"

Absol quickly moved in and used Assurance, since Zoroark had taken damage previously Assurance's power doubled and sent it toppling back.

Julian "Metang use Metal Claw once again"

Metang did as Julian asked and hit the quarreling two-headed Zweilous with another Metal Claw sending they rolling on the ground once again.

This suddenly agitated Zweilous and they went crazy, both the heads started to shoot out random attacks at random direction and unluckily Metang was very close to them and a powerful Dark-Pulse from one of the head hit Metang and sent him crashing into a tree.

Zoroark got to its feet and growled at Absol.

Samual "Zoroark use Illusion to calm down Zweilous and distract Absol while doing so as well"

Zoroark's ability was very powerful it could use it to show many people multiple illusion at the same time, Zoroark activated its ability and Absol suddenly fell into a trance as well as Zweilous.

But Zweilous soon came out of its trance and was now calm again but it was also breathing very heavily, it was tried due to all the random attacks it did when it went berserk.

Samual "You were indeed a tough opponent but it's over, your Absol is in a deep trance and is completely vulnerable and you Metang might be out"

Julian "Is that what you think?"

Samual "Huh?"

Julian [Absol snap out of it]

Julian sent a telepathic message to Absol, Absol who was now currently seeing an illusion of him sleeping near a beautiful lake suddenly heard Julian's voice in his head and realized something is wrong, he let out a powerful burst of Dark energy and shattered the Illusion and snapped out of the trance.

Samual "How is it possible?"

Samual was shocked, his Zoroark was able to put more than eight pokemon in an illusion simultaneously and twenty people, but now it was broken by Absol in an instant.

Julian "Metang get up"

Hearing Julian, Metang who was on the ground suddenly started to float levitate again as he started to glow, he has triggered his evolution by taking that Dark Pulse directly.

Samual "How is this even possible"

Julian "If I wanted Metang could have easily finished off your Zweilous with a single hit but I purposely made Metang use Metal Claw to now inflict heavy damage to your Zweilous since it's your Pokemon's nature to quarrel with its own heads. I used it as an advantage to Stimulate Metang's evolution since Metang's defense is high enough I knew he would not fall down with just one hit from a Dark Pulse of that caliber, even though it was powerful it still not enough to take down Metang"

Samual didn't expect things to go like this at all.

Metang slowly started to get bigger as his Hands started to separate into four and grow thicker, his horn in front of his face disappeared and formed into a golden cross, now that Metang has evolved into Metagross his brains also multiplied and now he has four of them, his psychic energy is leaking out heavily while his Metallic energy is covering his body and increasing his defense.

Julian 'Now only Vibrava and Pupitar are the ones remaining to evolve'
