Julian stayed behind at Lilycove city as he wanted to attend the press conference. But right now he is watching the TV with a weary smile on his face.

He is currently watching a news channel which should him on Latios and his Mega Electivire beside him, the News Anchor was excitedly talking about him, Daisy was beside him eating her snack and looking at the TV screen. ​​

Anchor "As you see, the lightning storm which appeared over Mt. Pyre was caused by this mysterious pokemon and it was under a mysterious trainer who was riding a legendary pokemon Latios, we have some clue who this person might be"

Julian didn't think that someone would take a video of him in Mt. Pyre, unlucky for him a movie-making crew had visited Mt. Pyre to make a documentary, and when the lightning storm came by they started to record it with their camera, luckily due to the overwhelming lightning he was blurred in those videos.

Anchor "Even though the video is blurred we can still make out the person is wearing a black coat and red mask, this person might be the same one who appeared in Kanto several months ago, where he was seen riding a giant red unknown pokemon, this person is definitely the legendary trainer who was talked all over the world when he made his first appearance"

Daisy "Yes, I also remember seeing this person in the news in Kanto, you were also there right?"

Julian "Yes I was also there with you and Professor Oak"

Daisy "Who could this person be? He has pokemon that have never been seen before and all of them are so powerful"

Julian "Who knows, Its good that he isn't someone who goes around destroying stuff"

Daisy "Can you defeat this man?"

Daisy asked Julian with her eyes shining, she knows Julian's pokemon are on a whole another level than any champion's, she knew Julian's every pokemon were monster amongst monsters and each and everyone were capable of destroying cities.

Julian smiled wearily as he didn't know what to say.

Julian "I think I can"

Julian just said so to calm Daisy down, he then looked back at the TV.

Anchor "This legendary Trainer used his pokemons and stopped the Evil organizations Team Aqua and Team Magma from destroying Hoenn, he destroyed their bases with just a single attack from his unknown pokemon, one base was at the west of Lilycove city on a small island and the other was south of Mossdeep city under water"

Julian was surprised by how much the media knew, he always thought that Media was a scary existence and seeing this he was proven correct, even after the effort put by the elites of Hoenn to suppress the incident the Media was still able to uncover it.

Julian 'Media is really scary'

Soon the broadcast ended and he switched off the TV.

Daisy "Wait I want to see some more"

Julian "Ok then, I will be going out for a stroll"

He passed the remote to her and walked out of the room and went out to take a stroll.

He noticed that many news channel's vehicles were entering the city because of the big press conference being held at the Mall coming Monday.

Julian found nothing else interesting and was about to go back to his hotel room when he heard a huge commotion near the city gate.

He decided to take a look and noticed a van coming through and people were standing left and right of the road whereas the reporters are busy taking pictures.

Julian 'So they have finally arrived'

Julian saw Diantha's picture on Van's cover.

Julian went back as the scene calmed down, people also went back to their home, the reporters also went back to their own place for the night.

When Monday arrived the people living in Lilycove city were very excited, even though they didn't know much about the champion of Kalos but the thought of a champion of a region visiting their city excited them.

Julian got a message from Professor Oak that even Wallace will be present at the conference to welcome Diantha and Sycamore.

Professor Oak also told that Wallace has some idea about the press conference but still doesn't know about Mega Evolution as the league has hidden it even from the champions, the league decided to go public for everyone at the same time.

Julian got ready to visit the press conference, Daisy decided to tag along to the press conference.

When they arrived at the mall they saw the mall was crowded with people, most of them were Diantha's fans as she is also a huge actress in the film industry.

The rest of them were researchers and reporters and a few pokemon trainers.

Julian had booked seats for the conference as he knew that its gonna be crowded and he didn't want to stand amongst the crowds, after showing the passes they were escorted towards the seating area.

The mall was decorated with colors and there was a platform in the middle of the mall with chairs and a long table with mics placed on it.

There was a huge screen behind the platform which was playing one of Diantha's movie.

The press conference was about to start, the movie playing on the screen got stopped and a middle-aged man wearing a red suit walked up to the platform with a mic in his hand.

He took a breath and started to speak.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Trainers and Reporters, Fans and Researchers I welcome all of you to today's press conference, this press conference is arranged by the League itself and this press conference will be a start to a new era"

As the man said this the photos were started to be taken, white lights flashed everywhere and reporters started to ask question non-stop.

"Calm down everyone, even I don't know what the press conference is about, it will be revealed by our two very important guests, but first let's welcome our champion, Wallace"

Wallace walked up to the platform and took a seat, the pictures were started to be taken and questions were started to come continuously towards Wallace

Wallace "Calm down everyone, even I don't know about today's matter, the League has been very secretive about it, now they have decided to go public so let's hope its something good, then please let's welcome our important guest Professor Sycamore and Lady Diantha"

Wallace introduced them, soon Sycamore and Diantha then walked up towards the Platform and were greeted by Wallace with a bouquet, he handed it over to Diantha and Sycamore.

The pictures were again taken and the reporters were aggressively asking questions but both Sycamore and Diantha stayed silent and took their seat.

Seeing this Julian shook his head.

Julian "This is why I don't want to be a champion"

Daisy "I think I understand now"

Daisy also smiled wearily seeing how aggressive the reporters where.

Sycamore and Diantha stayed silent until the reporters quieted down and took their seats.

Sycamore "Thank you, everyone, who has come to this conference. this conference will be the beginning of a brand new era for both man and pokemon kind"

Hearing this the reporters started to buzz again and one of them stood up to ask a question.

"Professor Sycamore what is it that will change the era of both humans and pokemon, but first I want to ask you why did you and Miss Diantha come to Hoenn to announce this instead of Kalos?"

Sycamore "Because everything started to Hoenn"

"I don't understand"

The reporter said as he had no idea what Sycamore was talking about.

Sycamore "You will know soon"

Sycamore looked at his assistant and nodded at her.

Sycamore "Sophie you may play the clip"

Sycamore told his assistant Sophie to play the clip and so Sophie walked towards the huge screen and inserted the memory drive in her hand into the port of the screen.

And the video present inside it started to play, the Video has a Charizard in it and it has a metal plate around its neck with a shiny marble in it.
