"Medicine and porridge," Alfred replied sounding awkward.

So Jasmine wasn't lying after all. He went out just to buy medicine for me.

Elizabeth thought staring into space.

"Because of your condition, I thought you won't be able to eat solid food...,"

"There is no need for you to explain. I understand your intention," Elizabeth said as she tried to stand up but Alfred prevented her from doing so.

"I will take care of everything today. Just sit right there," Alfred said sternly before he went ahead and opened the porridge.

Alfred made sure Elizabeth ate and took the medicine. He even forced her to rest despite that she did not want to. While taking care of her, he lost track of time. He completely forgot his promise to the ladies when they arrived.

While Jasmine was busy playing with her phone, she did not know that the guy who loves her to no end had arrived in the hotel.

Jackson on arriving at the hotel, firstly, unpacked his luggage before he changed and shower.

After resting for about an hour, he went down to the beach with hopes of seeing the one he has come here for. He was so disappointed when he reached the beach and did not see her there.

The moment he turned to leave, he heard someone call his name from behind.

"Ice Prince, is that you?" Jasmine said in a tone that showed she wanted to confirm his identity.

"I have seen his back very often to mistake it for someone's else's so I am sure he is the one," Jasmine mumbled to the hearing of the beaming Jackson. Hearing her sweet melodic voice, Jackson's heart was overwhelmed. No words could describe just how happy he is at the moment.

Jackson slowly turned to face her direction.

"I said it that I could not be wrong," Jasmine said subconsciously smiling. For some unknown reason, she felt happy to see him there.

"Why are you so sure that you can never mistake me for someone else?" asked Jackson curiously when she had covered the huge gap between them.

"Because I have engraved your image in my heart," Jasmine blurted out to the surprise of Jackson.

"...,"

"I don't mean it in the way you think. I meant...,"

"What do you think I am thinking?" asked Jackson, pretending as though he did not understand what Jasmine was trying to clarify.

"You might mistake it that I meant I love you," Jasmine said bluntly.

"But that isn't what I was thinking so does your word means you really love me?" Jackson teased as he stares at the blushing lady.

"Hey, what... what are you saying?"Jasmine felt like giving herself a tight slap for stuttering.

Jackson grinned when he saw how flustered the usual shameless lady was.

"Ice Prince, what are you doing here? You didn't look surprised to see me earlier. You aren't stalking me or are you?" Jasmine asked suspiciously.

"Didn't I tell you, I had a business trip?" Jackson asked. Her questions made him nervous but he did not let them show.

"Oh yeah you did," said Jasmine brushing off their encounter as a mere coincidence.

If she knew that Jackson abandoned everything to go on this trip for her sake, she wouldn't have remained carefree like she is doing.

"What were you doing outside on the beach when it is late into the night? Don't tell me you are having a problem adjusting to your new surrounding?" Jackson asked curiously as they both began walking on the beach.

"Nothing serious. I was just thinking about my life for the past five years and after so much thinking I realised how eventful my life has been," Jasmine said smiling.

"What exactly do you find thrilling about the way you have lived?" Jackson asked as he stole a glance at her.

"The first thing is that I got to live my life freely just like I have always wanted to do. Because of this, I got to meet and play around with so many handsome men. Apart from that, I got to do the job I have always had a passion for. Because of my wilfulness, I got to be friends with such an amazing person like Catherine," Jasmine said beaming.

"My father has always said that I wasted my life but after thinking today I got to realise that I haven't wasted my life at all. Apart from those things I mentioned, I forgot to say that I got to meet a handsome but cold guy like you because of my lifestyle," Jasmine said to the delight of Jackson. His heart swells in happiness. Two times in a role he has experienced unexplainable happiness and this was all thanks to this lady who always act indifferent.

"Am I cold towards you?" asked Jackson curiously.

Jasmine halted when she heard his question. She turned and stood in front of me.

"Of course you were very cold towards me," Jasmine said firmly.

"Get out if you are just gonna stand there staring at us. Can you stop making friends with them and just piss off. I don't have an interest in you so why should I give a damn about your feelings. I am not the type to beg any lady for sex but they beg me so get your hands off me. Your wish, you don't stand a chance," Jasmine perfectly imitated Jackson's voice.

"These are a few out of the thousand mean words you said to me that I can recall so tell me from all I have said were you not cold to me?" Jasmine said in a calm tone.

"But it wasn't all the time I treated you coldly right...,"

"You are right about that. You always let me seduce you only to give me the cold shoulders when I thought I have succeeded. Thinking back now, I wonder whether you did that to show that you have a high tolerance for a woman's touch or some other reasons," Jasmine said in a meek tone.
