"Ice Prince? You sure gave him a title that befits him perfectly," Evelyn said beaming. Evelyn's smile was so captivating, only men with self-control would be able to resist her charming smile.

"Evelyn, if your cousin doesn't mind becoming my second husband then tell him that the door to my home is open," Jasmine said with a huge sense of humour. People at the table could not resist laughing at her jokes.

"You are one funny lady. I am sure we will get along well," Evelyn said after she has gotten over her laughter.

"I am Jasmine Avans and here is my only best friend. I consider her a sister actually," Jasmine formally introduce herself as she stretched her hand for a handshake.

"I am Evelyn Frank, it's my pleasure to meet you," Evelyn said as she shook Jasmine's hand. The two ladies shook hands for a few seconds before they retract their hands.

"Hi, I am Evelyn Frank. You look very pretty. Jeff has been staring at you since I arrived here, I guess he has taken a fancy to you," Evelyn said maintaining her beautiful smile as she extends her hands towards Catherine's direction.

"It's nice to meet you, Evelyn. I am Catherine Qin," Catherine said ignoring the other part of Evelyn's sentence.

While Jasmine and her partners were having fun teasing each other, two ladies sitting far away from them were dying of jealousy.

"Rose, at this rate this lady is gonna take away everything I have worked so hard to build. She is gonna ruin the relationship I have worked so hard to build with Jack and I can't allow this to happen...,"

"What do you suggest we do?" Rose asked anxiously.

"Jack hasn't fallen in love with her and they are this close, I don't want to imagine what she will do if she successfully seduces him so before my fears come to pass we need to do everything to separate them. We need to make sure Jack hates the sight of her...,"

"How do we go about doing this?" Rose asked curiously.

"You have me here. All the scheming will be done by me, all you need to do is to support me whenever I need your help. Jack is mine and I will never let any lady take him away from me. Jack will be mine no matter what," Jane said menacingly as she dug her nails into her fine palms.

"Ok, but shouldn't we do something about the way she is getting along with the guys. Even Evelyn who arrived three days ago seems to have taken a liking to her," Rose said as she stare at Jasmine talking to Evelyn while beaming.

"We are going there now. We won't let her plan succeed," Jane said as she stood up. She carried her glass of wine with her before she approached the direction Jasmine and the others were sitting. Before Jane could reach their table the host quickly called the CEO of Smith International to give his speech.

"Take this. You are incomplete without wearing your suit," Jasmine said as she handed him the suit before he could walk away. Jackson collected the suit from her, put it on before he approached the stage.

As he approached the stage, the limelight centred on him.

"Hello everyone," Jackson composed voice filled the room. When he saw that he has gotten everyone's attention he moved on speaking further.

"First of all I want to thank each one of you for being here to share in our happiness," Jackson said in a calm tone.

Back on their chair, Jasmine whose gaze was focused on Jackson smiled.

"Now I understand why ladies are crazy over him despite how cold he is. He looks hot even without putting on efforts as other men do," Jasmine said as she stare at the guy who seem to be looking in her direction at the moment.

"What are you mumbling about Jasmine? Don't forget you vouched never to settle for the title of a mistress so lower your gaze," Catherine said when she saw the way Jasmine was staring at Jackson.

"I am just glancing at him so relax. Besides it is not a crime to admire someone...,"

"Yeah.... but it becomes a crime when you start developing naughty thoughts about that person just like you are doing," Catherine interrupted her sharply.

"I know he is taken so stop nagging me...,"

"Indeed, he is deeply in love with someone but that doesn't mean he is taken. You can still steal his heart before the one he loves even get to realise that the most eligible bachelor in the City once loved her," Jeff eavesdropping on their conversation said playfully.

Jack is in love with someone? Now I understand why he behaved the way he did earlier when I mistake her for Steve's girlfriend. I was wondering why the aloof Young Master Jackson will talk so softly to a lady so he is in love with her. The thing is gonna get interesting here and I can't miss out.

Evelyn thought grinning wickedly as she steals a glance at Jasmine.

"Why are you grinning?" Steve sitting beside Evelyn on her right-hand side asked when he saw her smiling while staring at Jasmine.

"I was thinking of when the damn party is gonna end so we can continue from where we stopped," Evelyn said as she placed her right hand on his lap.

"I have missed you, can't you tell it from looking into my eyes or even from my touch?" Evelyn said as she romances his thigh seductively.

"Your boyfriend...,"

"I am single. Doesn't my touch tell you just how much I have missed you? How could I bear to have a boyfriend when my cute little guy was waiting for me here?" Evelyn said as her hand began approaching his most sensitive region. Everyone was too busy listening to Jackson's speech to see how the beautiful lady was bullying Steve in public.
