He immersed himself in the game he was playing. He was so engrossed playing his game to realise that Jasmine has arrived. She stood there for almost five minutes yet Jackson did not realise that she was there.
"Young Master, can I have your orders now that your girlfriend is here?" The waiter who just entered their booked room asked staring at Jackson who was still playing games. The waiter was surprised to see that Jasmine was still standing when it has been over five minutes since she arrived.
"What girlfriend....," The words refused to come out when Jackson's eyes met the gorgeous looking standing close to the door. He was too surprised to say a word.
"Young Master," The waiter called when Jackson did not utter a word.
"I will call you later," Jackson said not taking his eyes off this heavenly looking lady in front of him.
"When did you arrive?" Jasmine asked to the surprise of Jackson.
"About three minutes ago," Jackson lied without batting an eyelid. Jasmine walked over to where he was sitting and sat on the chair at his right-hand side.
"Really?" Jasmine asked suspiciously as she stares at him.
"Yes," Jackson remarked firmly not knowing the hidden meaning behind why Jasmine tried to affirm his answer.
"But I was here five minutes ago so tell me who was sitting here when I entered since you said you arrived three minutes ago," Jasmine said as she stares at him with curious eyes.
"I... I...," Jackson stammered not knowing what other lies to come up with.
"The waiter talked as if you arrived here about an hour ago so why are you lying?" Jasmine asked seriously.
"I just had a lot of time on my plate. I didn't want you to feel pressurised that is why I lied," Jackson said honestly. The fact that Jasmine was talking to him normally again made his heart swells in happiness.

"Why would I feel pressurised when it was your choice?" Jasmine asked as she turned and face her front.
"Jasmine, are we ok now or are you still going to ignore me later?" Jackson asked anxiously as he centred his attention on her. He became even more anxious when she did not utter a word.
"Jasmine, I am not used to you acting this way, so can you stop ignoring me?" Jackson asked his gaze still focused on her.
"If you are treating me this way because of the kiss, then I will apologise even though it wasn't my fault. I also promise not to let you subconsciously kiss me except it is intended," Jackson went ahead to promise her this despite knowing clearly that he can not control himself or his feelings around her.
"You promise?" Jasmine asked as she turns and stares at him with hopeful eyes. Jackson hesitated a bit. He wasn't confident about his promise but just to make her talk to him again, he was ready to do anything.
"Yes, I promise. So are we cool now?" Jackson asked, his heart pumping fast. He did not know what he will do if she says no.
"Sure," Jasmine said smiling broadly. Jackson's joy knew no bound the moment she replied positively. He had the urge to hug and also peck her but he held himself back. He knew that she will never talk to him again if he repeated the same mistake after promising her not to do it again.
"Can we order now?" Jackson asked as he tried to put his broad smile into control.
"Yeah, I am actually starving," Jasmine said with smiles. Jackson quickly called the attention of the waiter.
"You can play the music the music now," Jackson whisper into the ears of the waiter before he urged him to go bring their orders.

"What were you whispering into his ears?" Jasmine asked throwing him a suspicious glance.
" I told him that my pregnant wife is starving and can't wait any longer," Jackson said playfully. His joke earned brief laughter from Jasmine.
"Wow, I never knew you knew how to joke," Jasmine said chuckling.
"That is what I told him, I am serious," Jackson lied with a serious expression.
"I didn't say you were lying so why are you repeating it. Are you trying to hint me that you are lying?" Jasmine now facing him said as she stares into his black eyes. Before she could turn to stare at her front music began playing.
"Anyone by Justin Bieber, Wow....," Jasmine said as she stares into his eyes.
"Are you really sure that you want no one but her?" Jasmine asked still staring into his eyeballs.
"Hmm...," Jackson said nodding affirmatively. He couldn't stare away from her blue eyes.
"She is the only one I want in this lifetime. I am a hundred per cent sure of it," Jackson said seriously.
"She is lucky to have you. I mean, not every man would sound so confident in front of a beautiful lady like me. Some guys would have stutters or hesitate but your eyes didn't waver," Jasmine said still staring into his entrapping black eyes.
"That is because I know what I want," Jackson said. His face subconsciously drew closer to her face. He could not take his eyes off her beautiful red lips. Staring at each other, they completely forgot about their environment. All they could see was each other.
"I am sorry," a calm voice interrupted their sweet moment. Jackson instantly sat back properly when he realised that their lips were a distance from meeting.
Goddamn it! I can't believe I almost kissed her. Thank goodness the waiter comes in just in time to save me.
Jackson who would have gotten furious in the past thanked the waiter instead when he knew what the earlier kiss would have cost him.
"Take this, I should have given you this when you arrived but I forgot," Jackson said as he picked the bouquet of rose lying on the chair at his left-hand side. He extends his hand towards her.
