It has been so long she teased me like this, what has come over her that she had to torture me so cruelly?

Jackson thought with gritted teeth when her hot breath began to tickle his bare skin. He clenched his fist to control the rush of emotions.

"If you can't capture her heart then resort to seducing her. With your looks, I am sure no lady in this universe will be able to resist you as long as you know how to properly utilise your charms. I heard all is fair in love and war, so if changing yourself doesn't work, I am definitely sure that seducing her in the manner I am doing will work perfectly," Jasmine said smirking devilishly before she sat up properly.

"Like this?" Jackson said as he sprang up. With his left leg in a kneeling position on the couch and the other leg extended, he leaned closer to her. His sudden action startled Jasmine. She ended up falling on the couch with her head resting on the arm of the couch.

"Jasmine, I love you so much. From the first time I set my eyes on you I have always known that you are the only one for me. It was love at first sight but this love will last forever. You are everything I want in this lifetime. My life without you will forever be incomplete," Jackson said while staring into her blue eyes. It took Jasmine about three minutes to assimilate his words. She gulped hard after digesting those beautiful words of his. If only she knew that this was not a game for Jackson.

"What do you think, do you like it?" Jackson asked with glittering eyes.

"Ice Prince, honestly for a minute I felt like I am the one you are confessing to. Your bewitching gaze was on point, likewise, that husky but affection filled tone. It felt so real, I mean it," Jasmine said smiling brightly.

"How long did it take you to learn it? Two days or a week?" Jasmine asked curiously.

"I never learned it. I just came up with it," Jackson replied.

"Wow, that means you are a natural-born flirt. If you were like me I am sure ladies in the city and beyond wouldn't have been saved. I wouldn't have been surprised if someone says you had over fifty children from fifty different mothers. You are so good at seducing that a pro like me can't help but admit," Jasmine said as she raised her right hand and caress his face.

"Say another one, hmmm," Jasmine urged him. Her eyes and expression showed that she was looking forward to hearing him say some awesome words.

"Jasmine, I'm all yours and there will never be another one cause I am eternally yours.

My heart's a flame and it's burning in your name. Even through the sands of time my love will always grow and I won't let go," Jackson said to the delight of the smiling Jasmine.

"Another one," Jasmine remarked. She did not know that it was his pleasure to tell her just how he feels for her.

"Jasmine, my heart does not only beats for you but it says you are the only woman it will ever beat for in such a way. My heart says your love is what keeps it pumping every second and hour of the day...," Jackson paused when Jasmine abruptly places her right hand on his chest to feel his heartbeat.

"Whoa... it is beating rapidly. You are really telling the truth," Jasmine said with a huge sense of humour.

"Jasmine, I guess that is enough. What will I do if you end up falling in love with me because of my sweet words?" Jackson said as he quickly sat down in his previous position.

"Any man who gets my love is blessed for a lifetime, don't you know that?" Jasmine asked when she saw the way Jackson acted.

"I am not disagreeing on that. You are one of a kind. Your type is rare to find," Jackson said standing up. He was so afraid of what evil plans Jasmine was up to.

"Where are you going to?" Jasmine asked when she saw Jackson starts walking away.

"To check up on your heartbroken Pretty boy. I can't believe a heartless woman dared to break his delicate heart. I wonder for how long his heartbreak will last," Jackson lamented as he walked up the stairs.

"Tell him that it is time to grow. He can't get Catherine by being so weak. He needs to get used to rejection since I am sure that he is gonna get rejected by her often. It's only a strong-willed man who will be able to take Catherine's heart. Tell him all I have said," Jasmine shouted after him.

An hour later Jasmine went to inform the guys upstairs that she was going home. Jackson wanted to use the excuse of accumulating good deeds to drop her off but Jasmine whose driver was waiting for her outside insisted on going with her driver. They had no choice but to watch her leave.

Some minutes later Jackson also went back to his mansion leaving only Steve to comfort the still sad Jeff.

The day run by so quickly. Night came and then surface the morning of a brand new day. That day being a Sunday and the off day of everyone, they all stayed at home. Only the workaholic like the bored Jasmine and Jackson dared to work even at home on their off day.

That afternoon, Elizabeth who has been looking for opportunities to talk to her husband finally got that chance when he brought his laptop downstairs to work. Sitting on the opposite side of the couch, Elizabeth continues staring at her husband who was constantly typing. She looked so nervous.

"What is wrong, if you have something to say to me then say it as you have always done. Looking so nervous is needless since it is just the two of us," Alfred who has noticed some minutes ago that his wife had something to say but pretended not to see her finally broke off the long awkward silence.
