"Nobody," Jasmine replied before she looked away. Seeing that not staring at them did not do anything to subside her anger, she grabbed one of the unseal bottles of wine on the table, unsealed the wine and drink its content from the bottle.

After ten minutes Jasmine who has been exhausted from dancing her heart out earlier lean her head against Kai's shoulders. Kai who can still recall vividly what Jasmine said to him was stunned when a felt ahead lean on his shoulders. He turned and stare at her.

Backs on the dance floor, Jackson grabbed hold of the smiling Carmella by the neck. His sudden action combines with the force he applied to his hand holding onto her neck stunned Carmella.

"She has always leaned on my shoulders but can you see what you have done? She leaned on another man's shoulders all because of you," Jackson whispered fiercely into her ears.

"You are that close to her that you allow her lean on your shoulders. How is that even possible?" Carmella left his question and dare to ask a question when she hasn't given him a reply.

"Don't let me lay my eyes on you again because I am gonna make you regret ever meeting me," Jackson said coldly before he turned and walked away.

The instant Jackson sat on his seat, Catherine, Jeff and Steve came to their seat. The guys sat side by side while Catherine sits in their midst.

"Kai, what are you doing here and how on earth did you follow us? This club is big so how did you find us in this vast club?" Jeff who was now slightly over his hangovers asked in a curious tone.

"Meeting you all here was a coincidence. My friends wanted to throw a party and ask me to come to this club since the party was to take place here. I coincidentally see Jasmine dancing in the crowd. Knowing how dangerous a club can be for a drunk lady, I decided to keep her company," Kai said honestly as he places his hand on Jasmine's body.

"You said you wanted to meet your friends, aren't you going to meet them now that you know that Jasmine is in good hands?" Jeff asked. The way he talked was as if he wanted to chase him away from there.

"I know I had prior engagement before I met you guys here but after seeing you guys I have changed my plans...,"

"Why would you say that? Don't you know that real men keep their words? If you told your friends you are going to meet them here, you should keep your words, that is the is the right thing to do," Steve supported Jeff's points.

"I know meeting my friends is important but being with my future wife is more important," Kai said to the annoyance of the three guys.

"You are Kai, Jasmine's fiancee?" the slightly sober Catherine asked in surprise. Because of her question Jeff could not give Kai a piece of his mind.

"Yes, and who are you?" Kai asked curiously.

"You don't know who she is and yet you claim to be Jasmine's fiancee?" Jeff asked angrily. He could not believe that despite knowing Jasmine for over three months Kai did not know the slightest bit about Jasmine.

"Jeff, Jasmine never told me about herself whenever we meet so you can't blame for not knowing who the young lady is," Kai quickly defended himself.

"You...,"

"Catherine Qin is my best friend and my executive assistant. We have known each other for over five years. She is the closest person to me and I take her as my sister," Jasmine whose head was still resting on Kai's shoulders said. Kai focused his attention on Catherine's face when he heard she was Jasmine's best friend.

"Hello Catherine, I am Kai. It is very nice to meet you," Kai said as he stretched forth his hand for a handshake.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Kai. I have heard a lot about you. Apart from being a gentleman, I heard you are very sweet," Catherine said with smiles. Her compliment annoyed the guys so much but they couldn't voice out their displeasure. They had no right or whatsoever to scold her.

"Jasmine said that about me? You are lying right?" Kai said as he shifted his gaze to Jasmine.

"Although you are cold, which I am sure is because of your profession. You are a nice guy, this is my honest answer so you shouldn't doubt what Cat said," Jasmine said before she closed her eyes.

"Jasmine hardly praise someone so why is she complimenting him? Wasn't she against this marriage...,"

"So what if she dislikes the idea of getting married so suddenly? That doesn't change the fact she is going to get married to him," Catherine said in low tones so that Kai would not hear their conversation. She turned to face the couple once again. With Kai around Jackson was ignored by Jasmine.

"Jasmine, if you are tired, let's go home. Don't forget you still have to go to the office tomorrow. It is past 1:00 am now," Catherine suggested when she saw how tired Jasmine looked.

Due to the launch event that took place some days ago, Jasmine had not really had time for herself. Just to make sure that the launching of the new game went smoothly Jasmine had slept in the office for several days. Even after the launch, she hasn't taken a break to recuperate.

"Cat, don't you know that clubbing is the sweetest after midnight? I will go on the dance floor again after resting...,"

"But you look tired. You might collapse if you continue forcing yourself," Kai supported Catherine.

"Hey Kai, we might be engaged but we are not married ok so don't nag me just yet. Nagging is what my father and Cat are good at so leave that aspect to them," Jasmine said with her eyes still closed. After Jasmine scolded him, Kai just drank without uttering a word.
