She doesn't know me? Is she really serious? How could she deny me in front of him? Wait and see how I will deal with you?

Jackson staring down at the lady who was avoiding staring at him thought in surprise.

"Jasmine, after what happened between us last night how could you deny me in the presence of another man? How could you forsake our love after all we have been through? You said you love me, was those all a lie?" Jackson said emotionally as he squats beside her chair.

Jasmine turned and shot him a piercing glare when she heard his words. His expression which looks hurtful like one who was left heartbroken made Jasmine wondered what the usual cold guy was up to.

"Ice Prince, what the hell do you think you are doing? My father will really murder me if anything goes wrong on our first blind date so just quit this act...,"

"Do I look like I care about what that old man will do?" Jackson replied in the same low tone she spoke to him with.

"Why the hell are you doing this? You have the lady you love which I am sure you will eventually get married to so why do you want to ruin my future marriage and happiness?" Jasmine asked. The way they kept on whispering words to each other made Kai felt like he was invisible to them and he did not like this feeling one bit.

"Are you happy with the arrangement? Didn't you tell me you don't believe in love...,"

"So what if I dont believe in love, that is none of your concern and do you think I would have agreed to this marriage if I had a choice...,"

"Is there a problem here, Jackson? Do you know her, is she perhaps one of your ex-girlfriends?" Kai who could no longer pretend not to know Jackson asked curiously.

"You both know each other?" Jasmine said as she took turns in starting at them.

"if you both are acquainted then why did you let me make a fool out of myself?" Jasmine said sounding angry as she brought her gaze back to the guy who was her date.

"You never asked whether we knew each other and why do you think the guy was so interested in knowing whether the two of us were acquainted if we did not know each other...,"

"I don't know him that well so how about you, Ice Prince tell me more about my future husband?" Jasmine said sternly. Her tone and expression showed that she was angry that they made a fool out of her.

Why is she mad at me now? Since yesterday I have been dying to see her after the guys told me the incident that took place in her mansion. When my men keeping a watch on her told me that she had left her mansion I did not relent in abandoning all I was doing just to see her. My intention was pure so why has it graduated into this?

Jackson thought lost at what to do to appease her.

"But you never asked us whether we knew each other so it isn't our fault that you mistook us for strangers," Jackson quickly defended himself.

"I know I didn't but that did not give you the right to make me look stupid in front of the man who will be my future husband," Jasmine said standing up to her feet. Jackson who was also standing at this moment was stunned to see how furious she was.

Did my actions make her this furious or was she already furious but was only holding back with hopes of finding a vessel to vent it out on?

Jackson thought perplexed at the turn out of the event.

"Jasmine, if someone should be blamed for what happened earlier it should be me and not Jackson...,"

"Don't try to defend him because he doesn't deserve it," Jasmine said angrily.

"Kai, I know I am not a good person and I have never wanted to become one but I hate showing you this side of me on our first meeting which should be perfect. I don't want to transfer my aggression to you so I will just leave. I have your contact so I will call you later," Jasmine said before she turned and walk away without sparing Jackson a glance. She left the two guys even more confused.

"What the hell is wrong with her? I don't know her to be like this," Jackson muttered to himself as he stares at her departing back. He turned to face Kai after Jasmine was out of sight.

"Did you perhaps say something to annoy or hurt her feelings?" Jackson asked sternly.

"I didn't do such a thing. The last thing I would do is hurt a woman. I am more than that," Kai quickly defended himself.

"Then tell me what the heck you both talked about to make her act like a different person," Jackson ordered coldly as he stares at the guy whose cold expression never left his face for a moment since he arrived there.

"We only talked about our marriage which is the reason we even met. I didn't have the opportunity to ask her personal questions before you arrived," Kai who has never seen Jackson this angry gave him the answer he wanted.

Jasmine acted that way because they talked about marriage, what does this mean? She once said she detest falling in love but she never mentioned that she hates getting married so what is the issue now?

Jackson thought as he stares blankly.

"I have never seen you act like this with any other woman which makes me want to ask, do you have feelings for her? If that is not the case then do you and Jasmine have a history that nobody knows about?" Kai asked when he saw Jackson's once angry expression turned to a worried one.
