"Hello Big Sis, look at what surprise I have for you," Jasmine said loudly despite seeing that Elizabeth was on the phone with someone. She knew very well that her sister will continue talking with the recipient if she did not act like that.

"Sorry, but I will call you later," Elizabeth said before she hung up the call. She glared daggers at Jasmine afterwards.

"What audacity Jasmine," Elizabeth shouted angrily.

"How dare you barge in on me like that? Do you think this is your office that you can do as you please? Even though you start working here you will still have to show me some respect since my position in the office will still be higher than yours so watch the way you behave," Elizabeth reprimanded fiercely.

"What if I take the position of the Chairwoman, would I still need to show respect?" Jasmine blurted out to the shock of Elizabeth. Elizabeth's eyes almost fell out of their sockets. She was too speechless to talk anymore.

"Anyways Sis, that is not why I am here. I didn't come here to bicker with you but to give you something," Jasmine said carefreely as she approached Elizabeth desk. Her expression did not resemble the expression of someone who just dropped a bomb that almost gave her sister a heart attack.

"Look at what I have for you Big Sis, I am sure that frown on your face will disappear after seeing it. Your face will light up, I can assure you that," Jasmine said smiling brightly as she dropped the envelope in front of Elizabeth.

Curious to see what was making her sister act so crazily, Elizabeth opened the envelope and brought out its content.

"You must be very proud of me, right? I mean you said I couldn't get the contract so I am certain you must be proud of me," Jasmine said grinning wickedly. Elizabeth raised her gaze to stare at Jasmine.

"How in heaven's name did you get the contract?" Elizabeth asked curiously.

"You didn't stupidly give your body in exchange for the contract just because you want to go against Dad, right?" Elizabeth asked suspiciously. The smile on Jasmine's face vanished when she heard her sister's questions.

"Why are you concerned with how I got the contract. What you should be concern about is how you will hand over your beloved husband to me for the night since I won our bet," Jasmine said a devilish smirk appearing on her beautiful face.

"What the heck do you mean by that? What bet are you talking about?" Elizabeth said as she threw the contract on her desk.

"On the day of your marriage anniversary, we made a bet since you said I won't be able to get the contract. Although you didn't agree, you also did not reject so you can't go back on your words now that I have won the contract," Jasmine explained. Just to piss her sister off. Ahe did not fail to smile charmingly at the end of her sentence.

"Big Sis always keep her words so I am sure that she won't feel ashamed to hand over her husband to me just because she lost to her little sister," Jasmine said as she brought out her cellphone from her handbag and dialled someone's line.

"Even though Big Sis fails to admit defeat I can still get my reward because I have his line," Jasmine said smiling devilishly.

"Hello Alfred, I feel very sad and heartbroken right now. Remember you once said that you will always be there to give me a shoulder to lean on. Holding on to those words of yours will you accompany me for a drink tonight?" Jasmine said while staring at Elizabeth. Her acting was flawless. The way she talked as if she was miserable while having a smile on her face made Elizabeth very furious.

"You are really going to accompany me for the night. That is so kind of you, I have always known that I can count on you," Jasmine smile for the last time before she turned to leave her perplexed sister alone.

"And hey Big Sis, don't forget to help me hand over the contract to Father. Tell him that I said I won again and he lost. I will apologise in advance if he slaps you in my stead," Jasmine now standing in front of the door while facing Elizabeth said beaming before she walked out of the room. She did not forget to flaunt her long black hair by flipping it seductively to the back. Elizabeth stares at her little sister wearing white high heels, pink shorts and complimenting pink jacket which comes as a pair with the shorts. The way she walked so elegantly further annoyed Elizabeth.

"How dare Jasmine do this to me?" Elizabeth thought as she stares at the contract in front of her.

"I have been letting her win all these years but she shouldn't take me for a fool. I am Jasmine and I hate it when someone challenge and look down on me like she did," Jasmine who just entered her car said as she threw her handbag on the other side of the seat.

"Let's go," Jasmine ordered her driver. The driver zoomed off afterwards.

"Hell would be let loose today when Father learns that he has lost. Although I would have loved to see his defeated expression I am still happy that I got to escape his wrath all because of Lizzy's bet," Jasmine mumbled as she smiles brightly.

Jasmine closed her eyes and rested her head against the seat until the driver halted in front of the J&S Innovation building. The building was a thirteenth storey building. Some of the floors were taken by a department while some departments had to share floors. Jasmine aim after releasing the new game her company was working on was to open another branch in a different City. And right now her goal was very close to becoming a reality since their ongoing developed game was almost at the finishing stage.

Jasmine walked into the glass building elegantly with smiles on her face. Her employees who had sad expressions on since they haven't heard the news about their boss getting back the contract were confused to see their boss smiling so happily. They all exchanged puzzled glances as they greeted her.

Jasmine approached the elevator which was just ahead of her. The moment the elevator closed, she quickly put on a sad expression. On the opening of the elevator on the tenth floor, Jasmine came out of the elevator. She walked past many desks before she reached Catherine's desk which was just beside the entrance of her office.

"Boss, what is wrong?" Catherine asked the moment she saw the sad expression on Jasmine's face. She stood up and went to stand beside her.

"Boss, say something? Did someone perhaps bully you or say hurtful words to you?" Catherine asked in a worried tone. She wished they were not in the office under the watchful eyes of so many nosy employees.

Jasmine just walked into her office without uttering a word to Catherine. Catherine who knew that she would not be at ease if she doesn't find out why her best friend is in that terrible state quickly followed her.

"Jasmine, are you acting this way because you failed to get the contract?" Catherine asked immediately she entered the office. She walked towards the couch Jasmine was sitting and squat beside her.

"If you are feeling so sad because of this then you don't have to be. Even though other employees might say bad things at your back about your failure, I would never join them because I have witnessed just how hard you tried to get back the contract. Just to win over Mr Jackson and get back the contract, you have broken many of your principles and even forsake your emotions. Although you have never said it, I know that you did all these for us your employees and not for yourself. Despite that you failed your father's challenge, you are still the best boss to me. You are awesome and you will forever remain the best so don't feel sad because of us ok?" Catherine said calmly as she patted Jasmine's hands. The moment Catherine finished speaking, Jasmine burst into a peal of deafening laughter. Catherine who did not understand why the once sad Jasmine was laughing just stare at her in awe.

"Cat, you look so cute when you were consoling me," Jasmine said amidst her laughter.

"Are you ok, Jasmine?" Catherine asked suspiciously.

"I am fine so you don't have to worry that I have gone insane," Jasmine said as she tried to suppress her laughter.

"If you are fine then why are you suddenly laughing....,"

"I am happy because I successfully fooled you even though I had gotten the contract back," Jasmine said as she smiled radiantly at Catherine.
