The next day, Jasmine who has calm down called Jackson with the line that Jeff gave her but no one answered the line. She repeatedly tried the line but there was still no response on each attempt. Seeing how frustrated Jasmine was Catherine who has been watching Jasmine all this while called Jackson's office but there was no response too. After so many attempts Catherine could not help but conclude that they were deliberately ignoring her.

Because of how frustrated Jasmine was, her temper kicked rock bottom. It was at this moment that she received a call from someone.

"Hello, Lizzy how may I help you?" Jasmine wearing a pink suit with her long hair let down asked.

"Hey, why are you taking out your frustrations on me? I am not the one who told you to challenge father, you have no one but your proud self to blame for the headache you are going through...,"

"Did you call to add fuel to the fire? If that is the reason you called then I am sorry to disappoint you, big sis, I don't have the luxury to bicker with you," Jasmine said harshly as she tried to disconnect the call but Elizabeth's next words made her paused.

"Where is that confidence you showed me when you asked for my husband to spend the night with you? Don't tell me you were all talk and no actions?" Elizabeth sitting on her executive seat asked smiling broadly. The expression on her beautiful face shows that she was having a lot of fun pissing off her frustrated sister.

"If you were gonna end up working in the family's company then why did you act all mighty? Did you possibly think that you can win against your father just because he has let you do whatever you wanted in these past years?" Elizabeth asked provocatively.

"If you beg me, I might put in nice words for you to father. At least this way you will save your face in public...,"

"Are you done talking?" Jasmine who has been listening to her sister's ridiculing words cut her short sharply.

"Big sister, there are over 20 hours left so if I was you I wouldn't be celebrating just yet....,"

"You couldn't get the contract for over three weeks so what can you possibly achieve in twenty hours?" Elizabeth asked in a belittling tone. Her ridiculing words got the already angry Jasmine even more furious. She ended up losing her cool.

"You think so? If that is the case then get ready to hand over your husband to me for a night because I am gonna do everything possible to win this bet. I am gonna make sure you regret belittling me this time around. Your husband will be mine, got it?" Jasmine asked furiously before she disconnected the call.

"Damn her for successfully ruining my mood," Jasmine spat out in anger as she clenched her fist.

"Father has always regarded you as the perfect daughter while he sees me as the unfilial one so just wait and see how I will face slap you with the contract. When I get the contract I will make sure you are the first person to see it. Just to see you furious I will make sure I get the contract no matter what. Let's see whether you will still be able to keep that mask of an angel on," Jasmine said as she stood up and walk around the room to calm herself down.

Throughout the rest of the day, she could not concentrate her attention on anything because of how anxious she was. Just to make sure she meets Jackson that night she did a stakeout in front of his company but to her disappointment, he never came out of the building until the next day.

Jasmine who had fallen asleep in front of Smith's International building slowly open her eyes when she heard her phone ring. She quickly covers her eyes with her right palm when the radiant sun rays flash into her eyes.

With sleepy eyes, she stretched her hand and pick the phone.

"Hello," Jasmine answered the call without even looking at the caller's ID.

"Hello Sister Jasmine," Jasmine heard a man's voice over the phone.

"When did I have a brother," Jasmine mumbled as she removed the phone from her ear. The sleep in her eyes instantly vanished when she saw who the caller was.

"Jeff, when did I become your sister? Am I married to any of your relatives that you would address me by that title?" Jasmine asked as she sits up properly. She massaged her aching neck with her free hand.

"Haven't you always say that you love JK? It is a matter of time you both will get married so it is not a crime if I start addressing you as sister-in-law earlier....,"

"Jeff, did you call to further annoy me? My sister had almost made me murder someone out of anger yesterday so will you be able to withstand my anger? If you can't then I suggest that you think before you speak because I am not in the mood to joke around," Jasmine said as she wound down her tinted glass window to check outside.

"Someone bullied you? You are the one who has always bullied people so how is it possible that someone is capable of bullying you and going scot-free...,"

"Are you trying to add salt to the injury? Will you be able to handle the consequences?" Jasmine asked angrily.

"Sorry Sister....,"

"Didn't I say that you shouldn't call me by that title?" Jasmine interrupted him abruptly.

"Did JK annoys you...,"

"Jeff get to the damn reason why you called me because I am gonna make sure I deal with you seriously if you don't," Jasmine threatened coldly.

"I wanted to apologise for not answering your calls yesterday. I was so damn busy because of the vacation we took. I did not have time for my phone throughout yesterday," Jeff apologized sincerely.

"Rumours have it that the Young Master of Darwin's family is a good for nothing who doesn't take the company's work seriously so tell me whether you were really busy or was just ignoring my calls?" Jasmine asked fiercely. Jeff cursed his lucks when he heard Jasmine's definition of who he was.
