"Maybe she secretly admires them that is why she is acting so strangely. I heard people tend to show their true self when they are with the man they love...,"

"Catherine loves your friends? Are you kidding me?" Jasmine asked. Her expression shows she did not believe a word Jackson said.

"Why are you acting like she can't fall in love with any man? Is she perhaps a lesbian? Is the reason you reacted that way because of this?" Jackson asked resorting to cunning ways just to pry answers from the lady whom he has got to realise had lots of secrets.

Since that night he has decided to put his seduction mission on hold. His mission at the moment is to know the secrets she is hiding because only in this way will he successfully seduce this great seducer.

"My Cat is not a lesbian ok?" Jasmine corrected sharply.

"Then tell me the reason you reacted that way or I will tell the guys that the lady they both like is a lesbian and far out of their reach?" Jackson threatened.

"You wouldn't dare," Jasmine said firmly. Knowing that Jackson will continue to threaten her, Jasmine quickly woke Jeff up.

"Stop always making my Cat do naughty things or I am gonna beat you up," Jasmine threatened coldly.

"I didn't do anything wrong but Cat did," Jeff said with sleepy eyes.

"Yeah, it is not his fault that Catherine can't control herself whenever she is around the two of them," Jackson supported.

"You...," Jasmine said as she fired him a murderous glance. Jasmine moved to wake Catherine up by tapping her gently on the shoulder. Catherine woke up after the second tap. She was stunned when she saw the manner she had slept in. In the process of removing her legs from Steve's laps, she woke him up. Since they were almost all late for their flight they did not pursue the case. They all hurriedly freshen up and got ready for their trip.

They headed to the airport together after they were done. In the airport, they bumped into the magazine's team but Jasmine ignored them. She did not spare them even a glance. Her behaviour made the team worried. They could not understand why the second daughter of the Avans Group was ignoring them when they did not offend her. They got worried that something bad might happen to their company since those who dared to offend Jasmine does not always go scotfree.

In their first class flight, Steve and Jeff pleaded with Catherine to change seats with Jackson but the young lady vehemently refused. Steve and Jeff gave up on the idea of persuading her after so many minutes of futile attempts.

A few minutes into their journey Catherine initiated a conversation with Jasmine whose eyes were closed while listening to music on her earpiece.

"Jasmine, what are you gonna do now that you had failed in seducing him on this trip? As you know our hope was all on this trip but you failed. It is just remaining a matter of two days now before the deadline. You have given everyone your word and you have even challenged your elder sister on this. It will be so disheartening if the company ends up getting dissolved despite all your efforts. Lizzy has been eagerly waiting for the moment of your failure, she will definitely taunt you if you failed...,"

"Cat, it is not yet over. We still have two days and I am sure I can turn things around...,"

"How is that gonna happen when you couldn't seduce him for an entire two weeks plus? The cold young man seems to be having a lot of fun thinking that you have actually fallen head over heels for him like you make it seems. He is not gonna get seduced...,"

"Don't say that Catherine. Although I have failed in seducing him for over two weeks, I believe that I can still turn the tables around in our favour in these two days if I utilized my charms well," Jasmine tried to reassure herself and the worried Catherine.

Honestly, she was lost at what to do. She had tried various tactics to seduce the icy guy but all to no avail. He has proved stubborn from the beginning until this moment. This was the first time anyone has ever resisted her this far so she was lost at what to do. She did not even know how to go about securing back the contract she had lost.

"I wish you are right. We are at a dead-end right now and all we can do is to pray," Catherine said in a meek tone.

I guess being too friendly with them has made me forget why I came here and why I even approach them. I have played enough in this past three days and now it is time to go back to the Jasmine that I am. I hate losing so I can't afford to lose to him, my sister or any other person who thinks that I Jasmine will not be able to get what I want. I will give them the biggest face slap ever when I get my hands on my beloved contract.

Jasmine thought as she raises her gaze and stares at Jackson sitting at the far right corner. Jackson who felt a piercing glare directed at him turned around to see who it was. He wasn't surprised to see that it was Jasmine.

"I wonder what she is up to," Jackson mumbled to himself.

"JK, Jasmine seems to be very desperate right now. What do you think she is gonna do now? I mean she just has two days to make you hand over the contract to her," Jeff sitting beside Jackson said. He quickly stole a secret glance at Jasmine before he shifted it back on Jackson.

"She is full of surprises so how could I dare to guess her mind?" Jackson asked. From his expression, they could see the uneasiness in his eyes.
