"I didn't hear it from anyone but he said it the day I cooked for him in his mansion. He said he loves bland food, am I not right Ice Prince?" Jasmine asked throwing him a suspicious glance. It was after Jasmine explained that they understood why Jackson was unusually quiet.

He ate the bland food she prepared despite that he hates bland food? It is only a man who loves a woman that will put up with such a thing so what do Jackson's actions mean? Does he really like Jasmine but is only pretending?

Catherine thought as she stares at Jackson's face for answers.

Because of his ever cold expression, it is almost impossible to read his expression, I wonder whether my intuition is right?

Catherine thought her gaze still forced on Jackson.

"You only told us that she prepared a meal for you but never said that the food she prepared was bland. We would have covered up for you if you had told us everything that happened that night. You see why we have always told you not to keep secrets from us when it comes to Jasmine?" Jeff whispered into his ears before he focused his attention on Jasmine and Catherine once again.

"Maybe he lied because he did not want to hurt your feelings. I mean you volunteered to cook for the starving JK so how could he bear to say ill words about your food? He might look cold but he is a real gentleman," Jeff quickly tried to cover up for Jackson.

"I told him not to feel bad about hurting my feelings. Now I learned that he hates bland food, it is my feelings which had ended up being hurt," Jasmine said feeling guilty. She gets furious too whenever bland food is served to her that is why she understood Jackson's feelings perfectly.

"It was my choice so there is no need for you to feel guilty," Jackson said with an air of indifference. While they were talking the waiter tried to check his list to see whether he was the one who made the mistake or them. He quickly apologised to them after confirming it from his book that he mistook another table's orders for theirs. With the aid of another waiter, they quickly changed the dishes.

The five of them enjoyed their meal with the beautiful classical music accompanying them all the way. They went back to the hotel with smiles on their faces.

"Guys, will you come to our room for us to grab a few drinks later. The night is still far from being over and I don't want to go to bed earlier," Jasmine said after she had reached the front or her door.

"Sure, why not. We would love to come. In fact, we will be there," Jeff said smiling.

"Ok, see you guys later," Jasmine said before she and Catherine entered their room. After changing from the floral gown she had worn into something comfortable the two ladies sat down and waited for the arrival of the guys.

"Jasmine, I noticed that you sincerely have begun liking the guys. Would you make them your friends after you have gotten what you want? I mean they seem attached to you so would you consider making them your friend if they asked you to be their friends?" Catherine asked in a calm tone.

"Although the guys can be very annoying I agree that they are fun to be with. Jeff and Steve have a way of making me laugh and I like this feeling but I have never thought that far before. I have never considered making them my friends but there is no harm in accepting their friendship if they ask for it, do you disagree with me?" Jasmine asked as she stares at Catherine.

"As long as you are happy I won't object to them being your friends. I will be fine with being friends with them as long as they don't ask for anything more than friendship, you understand what I mean right?" Catherine asked her expression turning serious.

"Of course I do. I am only clinging onto Ice Prince because of the contract but he will become useless to me after I have gotten what I want. You as my best friend knows how I treat those who are of no use to me so you don't need me to tell you what I will do right?" Jasmine asked beaming.

I wish I am wrong about this. As much as I want you to live a normal again, the thought of you getting hurt again scares me out of my wits so I hope that my fears are proven wrong.

Catherine thought as she stares at Jasmine's smiling face. After a few minutes of waiting the three guys finally arrived. The guys brought three bottles of wine with them.

"You invited us for a drink so we thought it would be wrong of us to come empty-handed," Jeff said when Jasmine kept on looking at the wine in their hands.

"You guys are such gentlemen. You shopped for me, bought dinner for us and now brought us wine. Apart from receiving a peck from me which I will definitely give, you deserve another reward from me so tell me what you want, I will try my best to grant your wishes," Jasmine stood up from the couch and walk closer to them.

"Can I save my wish for some other day? I have this feeling that I am going to desperately need it soon so I want to save it," Jeff said as he embraced Jasmine. Just like she promised she pecked Jeff on his right cheek before she moved to Steve.

"What about you, Crush? Do you also want to save yours?" Jasmine asked as she pecked him on his right cheek too. She moved on to Jackson after Steve has replied.

"What about you Ice Prince, are you also afraid that you are gonna offend me later like them?" Jasmine asked as she pecked him on his right cheek.
