Jasmine, Jackson and Catherine rode in the same car while Jeff and Steve rode in another car. Catherine who has been staring at Jasmine who wasn't even spared her a glance leaned on her shoulders.

"Don't be mad, I am sorry for acting wilfully earlier. After cautioning you earlier I should have just let it end there. No matter how concern I was I should have just kept my concern to myself, I shouldn't have been nosy and made you angry. Next time even though I meet you in bed nude with him, I won't question you, I will keep my concern to myself," Catherine said as she hugged Jasmine hand tighter.

"Are you apologising or are you blaming me for what happened?" Jasmine asked.

"Blame you? Of course not, I was merely scolding myself," Catherine hurriedly denied. Jackson sitting at the front seat pretended as though he was not eavesdropping on their conversations.

"Cat, I know what you are scared of and I can assure you that your fears will never come to pass. I will make sure of it just like I have done for the past years so you don't have to worry ok?" Jasmine assured her once again.

"We came here to have fun so don't let your concern for me ruin your chances of being happy. Smile often so you won't drive men away from you? I want to see my Cat get married before...,"

"I will think about getting married only after you are married so stop talking about my marriage because I absolutely won't get married if you don't do the same," Catherine said with a tone of finality.

"When it comes to marriage I can act wilfully but when it comes to yours you know that uncle won't let you do that? You are his only child and he needs grandchildren while I have an elder sister to give my mum and father as many grandchildren as they want. She is the filial daughter and she will always do whatever they want but that is not the same with me. I have always done whatever I wanted and they always have no choice but to accept it and that will be the same with my marriage," Jasmine said carefreely.

"They might have allowed you to do whatever you wanted but you know you will always have to succumb to them when it comes to marriage. Your mum won't let you have a peaceful day if you dare say you want to remain a spinster forever. Even though she has to tie you up and bundle you to your wedding hall, she will do it. Don't forget the batch of men she had chosen as your prospective groom. You must have succeeded in ditching all of them but prepare yourself because I am sure she will knock on your mansion's door with another batch of grooms for you. Last time you settled for a playboy as your blind date, I won't be surprised if you choose a gigolo as your groom when the next batch arrives," Catherine said playfully.

"You are teasing me, that is not fair," Jasmine said faking a displeased expression.

"You teased me first, have you forgotten?" Catherine asked smiling charmingly at Jasmine.

Mrs Avans forced Jasmine to go on a blind date? How could she do that to the woman I had already marked as mine? Jasmine is mine alone and I won't let any man take her away from me.

Jackson thought as he clenched his fist. The ladies kept on teasing each other until they reach the five-star restaurant. It was at the time they arrived that Jeff and Steve's car parked close to them. The five of them entered the restaurant at the same time. When they reached the second floor of the glass building the classical music playing in the background caught Jasmine's attention. The song happened to be among one of her favourite music. They followed the direction of the waitress until they got to their table which was just beside the glass wall. From where they sit they had a good view of the beautiful night scenery.

After placing their orders they patiently waited for their orders to be served. While waiting Jeff entertained everyone by telling them funny things that made them smile. Soon the waiter brought their ordered dishes in a trolley, he carefully arranged the dishes on the huge table. The first person to have a bite from the meal was Jeff. He frowned after having a bite of three different dishes on the table. He quickly called the attention of the waiter who served the meal.

"Why are all the dishes bland? Did you perhaps mistake someone else orders for ours?" Jeff asked seriously. Jasmine and Catherine could vouch that this is the first time they have seen Jeff so serious. Steve also tasted the dishes to see whether Jeff made a mistake.

"Yeah, he is right all the dishes are bland. If it was just the both of us we would have managed the food to minimise your restaurant's loss but with our friend who has a strong dislike for bland food here, we really can't do that. You will have to change the dishes to the right orders we made," Steve supported.

"Ice Prince loves bland food so what are you both saying?" Jasmine asked looking slightly confused.

"JK loves bland food? Where did you hear such rumours from? JK has always hated bland food since we were little. He always made a fuss each time any restaurant makes this kind of mistake. There are times he stomped out of the restaurant in anger. There was a time his chef made the same mistake and JK sacked him without any delay. This is to tell you just how much he hates bland food," Jeff explained not understanding why Jasmine said Jackson loves bland food when the two of them knew how much he hates it.
