"I love you so why do you say I hate having affections for men," Jasmine replied not giving the response he wanted. The awkward look on her face showed that she was hiding something.

"You love me? How much do you love me?" Jackson asked when he saw that she had gone back to her normal self that he knew.

"My love for you is far wider than the oceans and deeper than the sea. It can overcome all trials of life. Do you like my answer?" Jasmine asked as she halted in front of the movie theatre.

"Since the first day we met you have been flirting with me, what would you do if I end up falling in love with you? Would you take responsibility for your actions?" Jackson asked in a serious tone. Jasmine who never expected him to ask her such a question hesitated a bit. She quickly put on her playful attitude when she had come up with an answer.

"Of course I will and you don't have to get scared of me like other men do because any man who is with me is safe for eternity. All his life will be filled with the blissful moment...,"

Jackson thought as he turned and glared daggers at Catherine. At that moment he felt like strangling her to death.

Jeff hurried to stand beside the angry Jackson.

"We really tried to stall time for you but she just wouldn't fall for our tricks. Even earlier we tried to prevent her from talking when we saw the passionate glares on your faces but she pushed us away and rush to stop you. For her to be so protective of Jasmine, I guess there is something she knows that we don't know, " Jeff whispered into Jackson's ears.

"Do everything possible to find out what she is hiding. If you succeed I will buy you the private jet you asked me," Jackson whispered back. Jeff's face lits up in excitement when he heard the reward he will get if he succeeds.

"Really?" Jeff asked just to confirm that his ears were not deceiving him.

"I know doing this to a lady might be a hobby to you. You might not care about your reputation but I have my best friend's reputation to protect? I can't let you lure her into having intimacy with you...,"

"Do you have a problem with your eyesight or what? Is it me who is trying to lure her into having intimacy with me or she is the one doing that to me? Why do you always call white paper black? You see the truth in front of you yet you always twist it to make me look like the villain, do you have fun making me look bad in your friend's eyes?" Jackson who was very annoyed with Catherine asked coldly.

"Stop it guys. If you keep on arguing and end up ruining my mood, I won't utter a word to either of you until I travel back tomorrow. I meant it, Cat," Jasmine threatened when she saw that Catherine wanted to continue arguing with Jackson.

"I am a grown-up Cat and I know what I want so stop treating me like a child because you acting this way is annoying sometimes," Jasmine added before she walked away leaving them alone. Steve quickly run after her.

"You see what you have caused? Are you happy now that she is mad at me?" Catherine asked in an angry tone.

"I should be asking you that. We were doing perfectly fine until you arrived so are you happy now that you have ruined everyone's mood?" Jackson asked furiously before he walked away leaving Jeff and Catherine together.

"Why is that your friend a total jerk? If he doesn't like her, he shouldn't be doing that to her. She might look tough but she has the most delicate heart in the world. He can't just keep on taking advantage of her like that," Catherine said in anger.

"Cat, JK is not as bad as you think. He might be cold and exude the aura of a demon but he is nothing like that and I am sure he will never take advantage of Jasmine or any ladies. Ladies have always tried to take advantage of him in the past but never have I seen him do the same to any woman so you can trust him....,"

"When it comes to Jasmine, I can never trust any man. I will never let any man hurt her again even though that means I becoming the villain," Catherine said before she walked away.

"What did she mean by that? Was Jasmine hurt by a man? Is that why Catherine is acting this way?" Jeff said staring at her before he hurried after them.
