Catherine had supported her during the most trying time of her life which is why she cherishes their friendship. When everyone criticised her, Catherine has always been the one who stood by her that is why she takes her feelings into considerations whenever she tries to do anything that will break her trust in her.

Catherine is a friend one can only find in a million years that is why she doesn't want to lose such a friend.

"You couldn't break free from him? How is that possible?" Catherine asked in surprise?

"Jasmine, be honest with me, have you developed feelings for him? Is that why you are so bent on conquering him?" Catherine asked seriously.

"I have developed feelings for him?" Jasmine asked frowning. "You know that is not possible. I am incapable of feeling anything for a man you know that very well. I wouldn't have been dreaded by men if my heart was not made out of steel. I can't fall in love with any man. Falling in love is an out of foolishness," Jasmine said firmly.

"I know that you have a heart of steel but don't forget that steel can be melted. It just requires intense heat to melt it and this man might be that intense heat that will melt that steel heart of yours," Catherine said.

"Cat, my heart is not that easy to melt so relax because I am still in full control here," Jasmine said confidently.

"I know you might find me naggy but I don't care. As long as I can protect your heart from suffering heartbreak again then I don't mind the title you give me," Catherine said as she stretched her hand and parted the strands of hair that was attempting to cover Jasmine right cheek.

After the ladies concluded their chat they both went to join the guys. They were a bit surprised to see that the shy Jasmine they had seen earlier was long gone. She was back to her usual shameless and bold self. The way she acted was as if nothing happened between her and Jackson.

Jackson who was previously happy that their relationship had advanced was sad to realise that he was back to the bottom line again.

Who knows how many men she had kissed. I guessed the intimacy between us meant nothing to her. She will think that it was just a mere kiss but it held so much importance to me.

Jackson thought when he saw how free Jasmine was. The five all stayed in the room until it was lunch. Catherine had wanted Jasmine to come along with her so they could have lunch in their room but Steve and Jeff insisted that they had lunch with them. Catherine had no choice but to agree to their request when she saw how sincere they were.

They ate happily like friends and afterwards rested. Catherine who was scared that Jasmine getting close to Jackson after the incident that occurred might stir her icy heart made sure that Jasmine did not get close to Jackson like she usually did. Her actions annoyed Jackson but he did not utter a word, he just glares daggers at the oblivious lady who was trying to come in between him and the woman he loves.

"Jasmine, it was a rare chance for us to bump into each other here. There is also a chance that we will not always be lucky to meet each other coincidentally so why don't we make the best out of our trip?" Steve asked as he stares at Jasmine whose head was resting on Catherine's shoulders.

"Yeah, this might be the last time we meet so why don't we make awesome memories together? Memories which will last for a long time," Jeff supported.

Hearing them tell Jasmine these words Jackson could not help but want to know what his friends were up to.

"We are staying in the same city so I can always pay you guys a visit if you give me your house address, that way you both won't have to worry about us parting ways here forever," Jasmine said carefreely.

"About making memories together I am in support of that. It was very rare for us to meet, it will be such a shame to go back without anything to show for so why don't you both suggest things we can do to make wonderful memories together. I promise to go along with what you both want," Jasmine said in a carefree tone.

Jeff and Steve, were surprised to see her agree to their plans without hearing what them out.

I guess this is for the better!

Jeff thought as he cleared his voice to get their attention.

"We can go sightseeing. I heard Maldives Island has beautiful scenery so we can check it out. I am sure doing this will be very fun," Jeff made the first suggestion.

"We will also watch movies. Apart from making us laugh, watching movies is a way of relieving stress," Steve said as he secretly winks at Jackson whose gaze was on him.

So this was the surprise they prepared for me? They sure know what will make me happy. If they could come up with these ideas to make Jasmine and me closer this shows that they are not totally useless after all.

Jackson thought happily. Their plans brighten his damp mood.

"We will also go shopping and afterwards crown it up with a romantic dinner date, what do you think?" Jeff asked anxiously.

"I had always thought that you both only knows how to talk nonsense but I guess I was wrong. I love your ideas. It has been so long Cat and I did all these fun things, I will be able to make it up to my best friend thanks to both of you. I love you both so much," Jasmine said as she blows the two guys a kiss.

"Does this mean that we are good brothers and sisters now?" Steve asked as he anxiously waited for her answers.
