"Ice Prince, try to hear me out. You and your friends have been avoiding me since this morning. I even waved at you earlier but you guys ignored me. I abandoned my work and came to the pool to hang out with you guys but the three of you quickly came out of the pool when you sighted me. You don't like me so no matter how many times I called your name you wouldn't have answered me. I only pretended not to be able to swim because I wanted to get your attention....,"

"And now you have gotten my attention and even almost made me have a panic attack, are you satisfied?" Jackson asked before he walked away.

Why is he so furious. One would mistake his anger for love which is not the case here. I wonder why he is so furious.

Jasmine thought as she stares at his departing back.

No matter what is his reason for throwing tantrums, I can't afford to miss today because of his anger. I need to do something right now.

Jasmine thought as she hurried after him.

"Can you guess whether JK is really mad at her or is just putting up an act? I am confused," Jeff asked staring at her.

"Jeff, how will you feel if you see the woman you love drowning and only to know that she was pretending after saving her?" Steve asked in. He turned around to face the direction Jackson and Jasmine took when Catherine walked past them.

"He was very worried about her so he is mad because he realised that his feelings were just being played at," Steve concluded before they both head towards the direction the three took. Afraid that Jackson might lose his cool and reveal his feelings to Jasmine, the two friends did not relent in running just so they could catch up to them.

"Ice Prince, wait. You can't keep ignoring me like...,"

"Jasmine, sorry but you can't enter his room," Steve said seriously, holding tightly onto the door before Jasmine could slip in.

"What are you saying? I need to talk to him," Jasmine said fiercely.

"Ok but how about you go and come back later.....,"

"Sorry, but what I want to tell him can't wait," Jasmine said fiercely as she struggled to enter the room.

"Actually we are not doing this to prevent you from seeing him but to prevent you from danger," Jeff said firmly. Unlike Steve's words which didn't catch her attention Jeff's words did.

"Danger? What danger are you talking about?" Catherine who just reached there asked as she stares at their handsome faces for answers.

"JK has already changed his clothes that is why we stopped you from entering his room. Although he acts cold, he is a man after all and blood runs through his veins. You will be in great trouble if you go in there. No matter how bold you are I am sure you can never win against a fierce man like JK in a fight so I advise that you come back later. But if your words can't wait then we won't stop you again but just know that you are going in there at your own risk," Jeff explained.

"Jasmine, I know you like him a lot but let's go. I can't afford to have any man pounce on you because he can't control his desires," Catherine said as she held Jasmine's right hand.

"But...,"

"Stop fighting with them and let's go so you can go dry yourself. I will get very upset with not only you but the three of them if you dare fall ill because of your stubbornness," Catherine said as she pulled the reluctant Jasmine along with her.

"Why do I have this feeling that she is gonna come back immediately she finished changing? I wonder what lies we are gonna tell her then," Jeff thought helplessly as he entered the room. Steve who entered the room last shut the door before he went to sit beside Jeff.

"JK, I know you were furious but you shouldn't have acted like that. We were partly responsible for what she did. If we didn't avoid her, she wouldn't have done that just to get your attention....,"

"You are responsible for giving me that silly advice about ignoring her. Honestly, instead of her, you should have been the one I got furious at," Jackson transferred his aggression on Jeff.

"She is always known for always acting sophisticated and prideful while approaching any of her targets. She was also like this when we recently met her but I wonder why she had suddenly changed strategy," Steve quickly changed the topic just to save Jeff from Jackson's wrath.

"I guess because she is desperate. It's now five days to the deadline so I kinda understand why she is so anxious," Jeff said coolheadedly.

"Jack there is something I have been curious of. What will you do if you can't make her fall in love with you after the end of the deadline? Would you give her the contract or not?" Steve asked curiously.

"I have also been curious about this too. It is remaining five days and Jasmine is far from falling in love with you so what will be your decision if your plan doesn't work?" Jeff asked anxiously. He could not hide his anxiety. Steve and Jeff exchanged puzzled glances when Jackson kept quiet on them.

"I will go change now. I am sure she will be back soon," Jackson said as he stood up and walk away.

"JK, where are you going? You haven't given us an answer yet," Jeff shouted after him but Jackson did not turn around.

"What do you think he will do if his plans don't work?" Jeff asked staring at Steve.

"Jack is always unpredictable. I don't know what he is up to but one thing I know is that for him to have come up with this crazy plan shows that he genuinely like her. He has been putting up with all her pleasure torture because he wants her to fall for him. Even though his plans don't work, I am certain he won't give up on her," Steve said in a serious tone as he stares at the bedroom door Jackson entered.
