Catherine went back to her former position. Seeing Jasmine sleep so peacefully, she felt a warm sensation in her heart. Although all men think that her best friend was a mean witch, she doesn't agree with them.

Years ago Jasmine was also a very likeable and gentle person. The first time she met her, she thought Jasmine had the purest heart in the world and her opinion back then still hasn't changed. Back then just like every young lady in the world Jasmine's dream was to find her one true love that is why when her mother told her that the gentle type of lady was every man's dream woman, she had changed her strong personality to achieve that dream. She became even sweeter after she changed. Catherine had wanted this sweet side of her best friend to remain forever but alas fate had its plans for her.

After that ugly incident combined with the death of the person she loves the most, Jasmine temperament changes completely. She became a different person overnight. Many years has passed now and so many things have changed but Jasmine seems not to have changed after so many years.

For a long time despite all her remarkable achievements she has never seen Jasmine smile so radiantly like she has done these past days. Yes, she has seen her smile so many time but those smile of hers were always fake. It wasn't as genuine and captivating as her smiles these few days.

"I wish you will always remain this happy in this lifetime," Catherine said before she rested her head against the couch and closed her eyes. After some minutes the tired Catherine dozed off.

They both slept in that manner for hours losing track of time. The loud knock on their door was what woke Catherine up.

"What is it? Haven't I told you that my boss would terminate the contract with your company if you disturb us just one more time today?" The sleepy eyes Catherine said harshly on opening the door. She did not even raise her gaze to see who was at the door.

She raised her gaze to stare at the face of the disturber when the person refused to utter a word.

"You are...," Catherine asked pretending like she did not know the identity of the two guys at the door.

"I am Steve and he is Jeff. We are good friends of Jasmine," Steve quickly introduced before Jeff could speak.

"Ok, how may I help you?" Catherine asked politely staring at their handsome faces.

"We haven't seen Jasmine come out of her hotel since earlier this morning so we were worried about her. We wanted to make sure she is alright," Steve said secretly peeping inside the room. Seeing what he was doing Catherine quickly obstructed his view.

"She is fine....,"

"Lady, don't mind him. That is not actually why we came here. The reason we are here is that we wanted to invite Jasmine to the club," Jeff interrupted her sharply.

"Honestly, we will be very busy after today that is why we decided to invite her," Jeff said staring at Catherine's indifferent expression.

From mere staring at her, I could tell that she is a very tough lady just like her boss.

Jeff thought as he stares at Catherine from head to toe. At the moment, Catherine was wearing a pink designer top with white ripped jeans. Her long brown hair was let down. Although her beauty and charms couldn't be compared to that of Jasmine, she was still very beautiful.

"Can you stop staring at me like that? It is very indecent of you to stare at me lecherously," Catherine cautioned on realising how Jeff was staring at her with smiles on his face. Steve quickly nudged him when he noticed that the absentminded Jeff did not hear the lady's warning.

"What?" Jeff asked displeased that Steve has disrupted his thought.

"She said she will gouge out your eyes if you keep staring at her like that," Steve lied.

"Anyways, my boss is asleep. She can't join you tonight," Catherine said sternly as she tried to close the door. Jeff held the door before it could close.

"You at least need to inform her about our presence. I am certain the sleep will vanish from her eyes after she learns that we are here," Jeff said smiling at her with confidence.

"She had promised to murder anyone who dares to disturb her..," Catherine trailed just to make sure her words sink into his head.

"So do you still want me to call her even after hearing this?" Catherine asked coldly. What they did not know was that Jasmine had woken up since the moment Catherine went to open the door.
