"It tastes nice to me. I guess you find it bland and unappealing because you are not a fan of bland food or maybe the dishes you eat every day is always prepared by the best chefs in the world," Jackson said as he continues eating like nothing was wrong.

"Ice Prince, are you sure you like the food? You know you don't have to pretend to like it to make me feel good," Jasmine said as she dropped her spoon on the plate.

"The food is to my taste so you don't have to worry," Jackson said carefreely. Just when he was about to scoop the sixth spoon, his phone rang. Seeing that it was a conference call from his two naughty friends he frowned.

I thought I sternly warned them not to call except I do so why in heaven's name are they disrupting this romantic time with her?

Jackson thought gritting his teeth. He reluctantly answered the call when it kept ringing.

"JK, how was your ride? What did you and Miss Jasmine do? I am sure even riding in separate cars did not prevent her from seducing you again, right?" Jeff asked naughtily. From the way he talked, Jackson could tell that Jeff was smiling at the other end.

"Jack, I know it's inevitable for you not to get seduced by her but what I want to know is, did you even try seducing her according to your mission?" Steve asked in an anxious tone

"Wait JK, do not say a word. I am coming over to your mansion right now. I am sure it will be more thrilling if I listen to you relay the series of events that happened face to face," Jeff said excitedly as he stood up from his bed, walk to his wardrobe and pick a black jacket from there.

"I am on my way too," Steve added delightfully.

"Are you both kidding me right now? It's late already have you even checked your wristwatch to know what the time is?" Furious Jackson asked subconsciously standing up from his chair.

"What is the use to check the time, we won't be able to fall asleep anyways if we don't listen to what crazy adventure you and Miss Jasmine experience today. So it is better we come up over. If you are worried about how we will get home afterwards you don't have to because we will sleep over at your mansion tonight," Jeff said as they both disconnected the call at the same time.

"Goddamn it! Why are they doing this to me?" Jackson asked angrily momentarily forgetting that Jasmine was still there.

"What is wrong?" Jasmine asked as she stares at him. It was after she spoke that Jackson recalls that she was still there.

"I have an emergency so I have to leave," the now composed Jackson said in a calm tone.

"Ok, I will call my friend's driver to come to pick me up...,"

"We don't have any time to waste so I will just drop you off in where your driver can pick you up," Jackson said as he packed the two dishes and take them to the kitchen. He resurfaces in the sitting room two minutes later.

"Let's go," the anxious Jackson said as he grabbed her hand and head towards the exit.

I wonder what urgent business came up for him to act this way. And this goddamn emergency has just ruined my chances to get the contract. Damn whosoever called him earlier.

Jasmine now sitting inside the moving car cursed inwardly.

Since Jackson did not want Jasmine to know that he knows her true identity he dropped her off somewhere safe before he drives away. Just so he wouldn't have to put up with his friends teases, he slept over at a hotel but sleeping over at a hotel did not change anything because his two naughty friends paid him a visit to his office.

"Since you have established some closeness with her, what is your next move?" The eager Jeff asked anxiously.

"I am taking my little naughty wife on a trip," Jackson said smiling broadly. The guys were happy to see him smile so broadly.

"Isn't it too early to call her your wife? Jane will turn the world upside down if she hears this," Steve said. Jeff quickly nodded to show that he agreed with Steve's point.

"Who is Jane that she will get mad because I call my Jasmine my wife...,"

"The lady who has been in love with you since childhood. She has professed her love for you so many times...,"

"Yes she has confessed her life to me many times but I also remember rejecting her each time. I don't remember making any promises to her so why should I care about her or her feelings?" Jackson asked coldly. The mere mention of her name ruined his once happy mood.

"JK, you know how scary these gentle ladies are when they are provoked? I am sure she won't harm you but I can't say the same about Jasmine," Jeff said in a serious tone. He was almost a victim of these so-called gentle ladies in the past, that is why he knows what it means to mess around with them.

"Who is Jane?" Jackson asked rhetorically. "Jasmine can handle a hundred Jane not to mention just one so what are you afraid of? Don't you trust your future sister-in-law anymore?" Jackson asked beaming at the mention of Jasmine's name.
