"Crush, is there something wrong with the brain of this friend of yours? I have always thought that there was something wrong with him but it has never occurred to me that he has head issues," Jasmine said putting an abrupt end to her laughter which had begun to draw the attention of other shoppers.

"Jasmine, I agree that JK looks like someone who has many problems with his body but the truth is he is perfectly alright," Jeff replied before Steve could.

"If he is ok then why does he think I am stalking him? What can he offer me that will make the Almighty second daughter of Avans....," Jasmine paused when she realised that she was about to give away her identity.

"Anyways just know that I wasn't stalking you guys. I just came here to buy a few stuff for myself," Jasmine quickly changed her words.

"You came here to buy something for yourself?" Jackson asked. From the tone of his voice, the guys could tell that his question won't end there.

"Wasn't it just last night you told us that you didn't have money, so how could you afford anything here if you are penniless like you said yesterday?" Jackson asked staring at Jasmine?

Jasmine frowned when she heard his question.

"Why is he suddenly questioning me like he is a detective, so annoying," Jasmine mumbled inaudibly but Steve standing beside her heard her words.

"You said you don't like me so why do you care about where I got the money?" Jasmine asked boldly.

"Have you suddenly realised that you love me that is why you are showing a lot of interest in me today?..."

"How did she know?" Jeff blurted out without thinking.

Jasmine focused her gaze on Jeff after hearing his comments. She could not guess why he made his last remarks.

Every man likes to be noticed by a beauty like me. They get furious and jealous when this beauty doesn't give them attention. To get this beauty to notice them alone they can do anything to achieve this, so has my strategy to make him jealous worked? If it has that means my mission is half achieved.

Jasmine thought looking so deep in thought.

"Jasmine, are you ok?" Steve asked in a worried tone.

"Yes, let's go show and leave this naggy friend of yours alone. He is no fun to play with," Jasmine said as she grabs Steve's hand and turns to leave but Jackson's next words stop them in their track.

"He didn't come here with you so who says you can take him?" Jackson asked.

Passersby who recognised these four prominent figure just minded their business. They all knew that offending them was like courting dead.

"If you are bored shopping alone then find yourself another shopping partner because he is with me," Jackson said pulling Steve away from her.

"He is acting petty and jealous again. He has ruined this shopping because of his jealousy," Jeff murmured when he saw the angry look on Jasmine's beautiful face.

"You don't find me attractive and you don't want the one who likes me to hang out with me. What is wrong with you?" Jasmine asked?

He should be thankful that I am in desperate need of the contract because I wouldn't have relented in punching him hard on the nose until he bled if I had the upper hand.

Jasmine thought closing her eyes to calm herself down. She was afraid she will murder him if she didn't cool down.

"Miss Jasmine instead of snatching him away from us how about you join us, I am sure that will be more fun," Jeff suggested. Jackson threw him fierce glares when he heard his words.

I know he is grateful that I helped him out but is only pretending to dislike the idea.

Jeff thought as he awaited Jasmine's reply.

"Since you said so then I won't reject," the now coolheaded Jasmine said as she led the way.

Does she really have feelings for Steve or she is only putting on an act to make me jealous? After last night incident I can't seem to pinpoint what part of her actions are fake and the ones that are real. I hope I didn't make a wrong decision by always making them follow me.

Jackson thought staring at their departing back. He was so lost in thoughts to notice that they had a turn around to stare at him when they realised that he wasn't following them.

"What are you waiting for, let's go," Jeff said as he beckons him to follow them.

"JK, don't worry about her closeness with Steve, I am sure she is only doing this to test you. You have always pretended not to get aroused by her constant touch and series of seducing that is why she is doing this to test you. She wants to see whether you will still be able to remain the same after seeing her so close to your best friend," Jeff who always tends to act naughty said in a serious tone.

"I have known her not to be a very nice lady but doing this to me with my best friend is very cruel of her," Jackson said gritting his teeth in fury as he stares at Jasmine talking while smiling at Steve as they all headed downstairs.
