While walking back to the inn, Ellis and Ray were still discussing the matter and were talking in a very low tone as they tried to avoid trouble.

"What if they were in this together right from the start," said Ellis.

"Listen man, I am more familiar with the King here so believe me when I say he is under a spell or something" replies Ray as he opens the door to their room.

"Who did you say is under a spell," asked Jenny who opened the door to her room when she heard their voice.

"You better come in here if you want to know who we are talking about" replies Ray with a smile on his face.

"There is no way I am going in there," said Jenny as she folds her hand in front of her chest.

"Oh well, enjoy yourself then since you don't want to know what we find out in the pub anyway" replies Ray as he drags Ellis into the room before closing the door.

"What the hell are you doing, she is a lady. What do you think others will say when they see her coming in" asked Ellis.

"And what do you think others will say when they see us going into her room" replies Ray with his own question.

"Anyways we still need to tell her about what we found out today," said Ellis.

Then came a knocking on the door as they were arguing.

"You see that she has no choice but to come to see us since she is the one who is kept in the dark," said Ray with a smile as he went forward to open the door only to found no one standing in the doorway.

"That's strange, I thought someone was knocking not quite long," said Ray as he brought his head out to look at the side but before he could, a punch hit him on the face as he spat out when the punch pulled him to the side.

"Hey what is that for," said Ray as he placed a hand on his jaw.

"That is for your earlier action" replies Jenny as she steps into the room.

"Haha, you got what you deserve," said Ellis as he burst into laughter when he saw what happened.

"So what did you guys found out in the pub," asked Jenny as she looked for a place to sit down.

"While we were having our time in the pub, we overheard two guys talking and they were actually talking about the king and precidia getting married" replied Ellis.

"Then who were you guys talking about being under a spell," asked Jenny.

"Oh, according to Ray the king has no dealing with the seer so it is likely that he is under a spell and I am telling him it was never like that and maybe they have been working together for a long time but he just won't agree with me" replied Ellis.

"I am telling you, Ellis, the king has no dealing with that witch," said Ray as he closes the door before her.

"It doesn't matter as long as we get the job done and right now Jenny won't need to spend her time going to see her for divinity" replied Ellis.

"What do you mean by that Ellis," asked Jenny.

"Simple, as long as you can impress her, being her maid shouldn't be a problem for you" replied Ellis.

"I thought she is only going to be her disciple while change to her maid," asked Ray.

"That is because we are taking the opportunity that has fallen on our doorstep" reply Ellis with a smile.

"I don't think she will be able to pull that off," said Ray as he looked at Jenny from the side.

"She will have to try her best then" replied Ellis.

"Well, I don't mind as long as I can get inside the holy church and go through some of their records," said Ray.

"Are you still thinking about getting out of this world" ask Ellis as he looks at Ray.

"I will never stop thinking about leaving this dam world" replies Ray with determination.

"So when is the wedding ceremony taking place," asked Jenny.

"That is what we will need to get information on since they did not mention anything about it" replied Ellis.

"So we are back to square one again," asked Jenny with a sigh.

"Of course we are not, all we need now is to get information about when the wedding is taking place and that is supposed to be an easy task for us" reply Ellis.

"Oh well since you say so, I think I will have to leave that to you two," said Ray as he went to lay in the bed.

Ellis was speechless about Ray's behave and couldn't find a word to say to him and could only turn to Jenny as he said.

"Then I guess we will have to get some from the market since it is the safest and more reliable place to get information".

"Fine by me at least I will have you all to myself this time" reply Jenny with a light chuckle.

"You wish. well, what are you guys waiting for, get going will you" said Ray.

"And what are you going to do while we are away," asked Jenny as she turned to the lazy man lying in the bed.

"I am going to help myself with my drink here" reply Ray as he took a mouthful of liquor.

"Drunkard," said Jenny as she walked out of the room with Ellis following behind him.

After Ellis and Jenny walked out of the room, Ray got up from the bed and went to sit on the chair that was in the room.

"Now that they are gone and think should go look at that place if there will be any sign of demons there" mutter Ray to himself as he continues to drink his wine.

It was already in the afternoon and Ellis and Jenny are not back yet, taking the time, Ray left the inn as he went into the forest trying to find what he is looking for. After going deep into the forest and searching the place trying to remember the place only to end up with nothing.

"How come I can't remember where the owner of this body found that witch summoning the demon," said Ray as he continues to search for the track.

Meanwhile, while Ray was busy searching for the tracks, unknowing to him something was following him and he has not been able to notice since his focus was on finding the track. Finally, after searching for a while, Ray begins to remember the places, and with a smile on his face as he said.

"Finally I have found the place," said Ray when he heard something step on a branch as he turned quickly to look at where the snapping sound came from only to see a tiger-looking demon staring at him in the eyes with killing intent in its eyes.

Ray just stood there with his mouth wide open in shock as he looked at the demon tiger barring his fang at him, left with no choice, Ray took out his blades from the scabbard as he took a fighting stance ready to strike the moment it lung at him.

"What is a demon doing in an empire as big as this," said Ray as he looked at the demon in front of him.

"Hey system, what level is that demon at" asked Ray to the system.

When Ray heard the information provided by the system, he became shocked as he looked at the demon in anger.

"You little, how were you able to hid your aura from me," said Ray.

There came another information, which made Ray sigh in relief as he encouraged himself.

"I knew I would be able to know if I were been followed but now that I know that a demon is here, I think I have more than enough to prove that witch was actually behind this".

Swinging his blade lightly as a wind slash went after the demon as it tries to avoid the attack only to have its tail cut off in the process. Letting out a groan, the demon turned around as it fled for its life.

"And where do you think you are running to" said Ray as he sent another wind slash at the demon cutting one of its legs off.

Struggling to run even with one of its legs cut off, the demon spat out a flame from its mouth as it tries to burn Ray to ash only for Ray to come out unharmed with a wicked smile on his face.
