"So what are we supposed to do now" asked Ray as he remains laying down.

"We wait until it gets dark before going back to the clan" reply Ellis.

"But I think there won't be a problem if we were to go back now," asked Jenny.

"We won't be but since the Bryan clan are having a clash with my clan, then moving in the dark is the safest" replied Ellis.

"So we are going back when it gets dark, so what am I supposed to do until then," said Ray in anger.

"Why don't you try sitting down and try to meditate at least since you have broken through, you have not stabilized your realm" suggested Jenny as she was playing with the ring in her hand.

"That is not different from doing nothing at all, by the way, I thought you should be hiding that ring before you get into trouble," asked Ray.

"If I remembered correctly, he said I should hide it far from some old monsters and I don't see any old monsters here" replied Jenny with a smile.

Ray was just about to talk back when they felt the ground trembling as if a wild beast was heading their way. But looking ahead, they saw some men raiding on their horse while heading their way.

"I smell trouble here," said Ray with a smile on his face.

"They don't seem to be strong" reply Ellis as he raised his head to peak at the incoming foes before dropping his head back on the ground.

"I know which is why I want you guys to stick this one out and let me enjoy myself," said Ray.

"No problem, I don't even want to stress myself with this kind of people" reply Ellis.

"Alright, now let's have some fun," said Ray with a warm smile on his face.

"Don't forget to keep them alive okay" commented Jenny.

"Don't worry about me killing them since they don't even amount to anything" said Ray as he begins to crack his hand.

It didn't take long before the horse gets to where they were resting as the leader of the look down on them. Since they were hiding their cultivation realm, they were unable to see through them.

"What are you three doing here all by yourselves," asked the leader of the group as he looked at Ray from his horse.

"Just taking a day off here, where there is no disturbance or what so ever" reply Ray.

"Taking a day off with a lady, why do I have the feeling that you two are up to no good," said the leader of the group.

"Hey mind the way you move that mouth of yours," said Ray as he continues to smile.

"Are you talking back at me?" asked the leader of the group with a frown on his face.

"You heard me or are you deaf" replies Ray.

"Looks like someone needs to be thought some manners around here," said the leader of the group while making a hand signal to his men.

"Please if you can, I would like to learn some manner so as not to get into trouble so often" reply Ray with a wide smile on his face.

The leader of the group was already on the verge of exploding in rage as he jumps down from his horse and took out his axe and swing it around before saying.

"I only plan to cripple you so that you will be able to reflex on your wrongdoing but now, I think death is the only outcome that is befitting of you".

"Same with me but I was told not to kill but just give you a beating of a lifetime else, I would have wiped you out of the surface of the world since it is only a waste for someone like you to be roaming in this world" reply Ray while crossing his hand on his chest.

"You are going to regret ever looking down on the Bryan clan," said the leader of the group as he went after Ray.

"They are actually from the Bryan clan, no wonder they are acting like they own the place" mutter Ellis.

Before Ellis could think of warning Ray, he has already started attacking the leader as he sent a blow at him before the leader could swing the axe at him. Before everyone's eyes, the leader was sent flying back as he crashed into the ground.

"As long as he was able to avoid killing, there shouldn't be a problem," said Ellis with a sigh.

"I was wrong, men come let's gang up and beat the living hell out of this freak," said the leader of the group as he got up from the ground.

Hearing their leader ordered them to attack the young man before them, they become scared.

"Don't worry I can tell that he is not that powerful through that punch earlier" said the leader as he saw the way his men are acting.

After getting confirmation from their leader, they all charged at Ray with their weapons in hand. And seeing them coming at him, Ray couldn't help but chuckled as he said.

"Yes this is what I want to see, come at me with all you got, and don't hold back if you don't want to get killed".

Seeing the young man not being bothered with them coming his way, sent a chill down the spine of the group but continue to go forward as they begin to hack at him. Moving from one place to another, Ray was able to avoid their attack as he takes them down until the leader was the only one left.

Looking around him as he saw his men laying on the ground as they mourn in pain, the leader finally placed his axe down as he knee on the ground and begin to beg for mercy.

"I thought you are going to teach me a lesson, so why are you on your knees," said Ray with a smile on his face.

"Please forgive me for being rude, I never knew it was senior else I would have not acted the way I did previously" reply the leader as sweat begin to run down his face.

"Oh, you never knew it was us huh, what a terrible lie that was," said Ray as he stood majestically before the leader.

"Stop playing around and let him go" commented Ellis when he saw the way he was carrying himself before a weak opponent.

"You are lucky that someone has already pleaded for your life to be spared else you won't be walking out of here alive. But before you leave, I want you to go around your men and empty yourselves of every storage ring you have on you and leave the horses behind" replied Ray after he sighed.

Doing as he was told, the leader went around collecting his men's storage rings before handling them all to Ray together with his own before leaving the place together with his men.

"Now that is how to make a living," said Ray with a smile on his face as he turned to Ellis.

"Coward, if that is how you make money, then why don't you try it on does that are stronger than you" commented Jenny.

"Alright let's get out of here before they come back with reinforcement," said Ellis as he got into one of the horses.

"I thought we are leaving we it gets dark," asked Ray confused with the way Ellis was acting.

"Didn't you hear when he said they are from the Bryan clan" reply Ellis after getting on the horse?

"Yes and so what," asked Ray

"As long as they are from a clan, they will surely go back to get someone stronger to deal with us" replied Ellis.

"So that's why we are leaving now when there is still much time before it gets dark," said Ray as he got into the horse before settings of towards the Gibson direction.

With the use of the horse, it didn't take them long to get to the Gibson territory as they were stopped by the guard on duty but seeing who it was, as he quickly let them in to avoid any punishment.

The moment they were inside the clan, a maid run up to them and bow towards Ellis.

"What is the matter," asked Ellis as he looked at the maid.

"The clan head instructed me to get you. And there has been someone who came to look for you 3 days ago" replies the maid with a bow.

"Someone came looking for me, did you manage to get the name of the guest," asked Ellis.

"I couldn't get his name but all I know is he is a swordsman" replied the maid.

Hearing what the maid just said shocked the two as Ray move close to Ellis and asked.

"Hey, do you think the guest she is talking about is the vice leader"?

"Who else if it is not him" replies Ellis before sending the maid off.
