Looking at the golden dragon before he, Ray couldn't help but place his hand on top of the dragon claw as he gave it a little stroke.

"Hey you are being unfair here, this should be my reward for completing the trial and you claim as the reward you are giving out" complain Ray.

Then the dragon statue begins to shake slightly as a crack appeared in the limb before crawling over the whole statue before it disintegrated leaving a big egg in sight.

"Wow, it is an egg, wait a minute, what am I supposed to do with this egg" mutter Ray in anger, and thinking of an answer to his question, he received a notification once more.

[Mission update: protect the egg for 4 months]

[Reward: a taming manual and a dragon].

"Shit, now you want me to be a nanny and take care of this egg for a whole 4 months. That is unfair of you" said Ray.

"Hey, is that an egg you are holding in your hand," asked Jenny who turns to look at what Ray was doing only to see him holding an egg.

"Yes" replied Ray with an awkward smile on his face.

"So that is what you choose of all the things that are here," asked Jenny.

"Yes, I believe it is not an ordinary egg for it to be in this place" replied Ray before looking at Jenny to see what item she took only to see her empty-handed.

"Ain't you going to pick something," asked Ray.

"I have already chosen this ring" replied Jenny as she lifts her hand for Ray to see.

"A ring, you chose a ring overall this thing," asked Ray with a stunning look on his face.

"Yes and like you said, it is not an ordinary item for it to be in this place" replied Jenny.

"Okay I won't argue with you on that one, I think it is high time we leave this place," said Ray as he kept the dragon egg in his system inventory.

After saying those words, Ray and Jenny begin to fade away and before long they have appeared at the entrance where they met the statue.

"So what did you get from the treasure vault," asked Ellis when he saw the two appear before him.

"I got this egg, though I don't know what it is I have this feeling that it's going to be something good" replied Ray as he took the egg out for Ellis to see.

"That egg seen to be huge Ray," said Ellis with a smile on his face.

"I can't wait to see what is hidden inside" reply Ray with a smile on his face.

"What, are you thinking of breaking the egg," asked Ellis.

"No, what kind of person do you think I am" replied Ray.

"I thought You were going to destroy the egg," said Ellis with a sigh.

Looking at the egg in Ray's hand, the statue couldn't help but comment.

"That is a rare treasure you have with you there, be careful to keep it out of the sight of others else you are going to put yourself in trouble".

"There is no problem with keeping it out of sight but the problem now is how long is it going to take before it will hatch" asked Ray as he looks at the egg in his hand.

"I don't know, it is been years that it has been in the vault so I can't tell if it is still alive but I will advise you to keep it warm at all times" replied the statue.

"I will senior, thanks for the advice," said Ray with a bow.

"So what did get from the vault," asked Ellis as he turned to look at Jenny.

Lifting her hand for Ellis to see the ring she was wearing. Looking at her hand, it took Ellis some time to figure out what she was showing him.

"A ring, are you been serious here," asked Ellis with a frown on his face.

"That is exactly what I said when she showed me the ring also" commented Ray.

"It is not an ordinary ring guy, I can feel it in my bones" replied Jenny.

"You just took an ordinary ring and you are saying it is something out of the ordinary," said Ray.

"The young one is right," said the statue.

"Thank you, senior, you see even the senior is looking at you in pity" replied Ray.

"I mean what she said is true, that ring is called the gifted shield ring. With that ring on she would be able to pass any heaven tribulation without getting injured" said the statue.

Looking at the ring in her middle finger, Jenny couldn't help but have a smile on her face as she said happily.

"See I told you it's not an ordinary ring but you didn't believe me".

"It is a treasure alright, at least with this we will be able to pass through any tribulation without a problem," said Ellis with a smile on his face.

"Unfortunately, she is the only one that can use the ring since it is now a part of her" commented the statue.

"What do you mean by that senior" asked Jenny as she looks at the statue while waiting for a reply.

"Try taking it off your finger then you will understand what I meant by that word" reply the statue.

Doing as she was instructed to do, Jenny tried to take the ring off but was not able to and she tried her very best to pull it out but it still won't leave her finger, and the more she pulled the more she felt her finger is getting sore.

"You should stop pulling it on the ring else you are going to get your finger damage," said the statue.

"What is happening to her," asked Ellis as he looks at what is going on.

"The gifted shield ring has finally taken her as its owner so it will be impossible for her to take it off no matter what" replies the statue.

"I see more like a living treasure," said Ellis.

"Correct, the only way it will be able to come off is after her death" replied the statue.

"So you have to take extremely good care of yourself," said Ray as he busts into laughter.

"What have I gotten myself into this time" mutter Jenny.

"Don't worry kid, as long as you don't meet any of those old monsters then you should be safe" said the statue.

"Thank you senior"reply Jenny with a bow.

"Now since you guys have already gotten your reward, it is high time you leave this place," said the statue as he didn't give them the time to say anything as they were sent out of the place.

Before long, they have arrived at the alter. Turning to look at the drawings on the wall, they could see that the drawings have been wiped clean.

"Looks like this place won't be able to exist again," said Ellis as he turned around from the drawings.

"Which means that senior was right when he said we won't be able to come here anymore," asked Ray.

"That seen to be the case" replied Ellis.

"Come on let's get out of here before we are buried here," said Jenny as she went to the window.

"Now we are going to leave through the window like criminals" replied Ray as he followed them from behind.

"You can also use the door if you want to get buried here," said Ellis before jumping out of the window.

After using the window to get out of the place, they heave a sigh of relief as they rested on the sand.

"Now That is one crazy adventure, which we can do again," said Ray with a wide smile on his face.

"No way I am doing something like this again" reply Jenny as she just lay down while looking at the sky.

"I can't wait to get back to the clan and begin my training," said Ellis.

"I don't know why that senior refuses to let us have the whole treasure and now they have all gone to waste" mutter Ray in anger.

"It's far better that he refuses to let us have them all" reply Ellis to Ray's complaint.

"And why did you say so," asked Ray not being sure of what Ellis meant.

"Let me asked you this question, how do you plan to keep all the treasure if he agreed to your request," asked Ellis.

"I think I know where you are going" commented Jenny after getting the idea of why the senior refuses to let them have it all.

"So he didn't let us have it because of the trouble it will bring us," said Ray after eventually figuring it out.
