Falling from the sky, Ray fell face-first on the ground as he mourns in pain before getting up as he looks around to see where he was brought only to discover that he was in an empty room with no one inside and there was a door that was shut close.

"And what is my test supposed to be," said Ray as he begins to walk around the place.

"Welcomed to your first trial, your test will be to defeat a demon if you ever want to proceed to the next trial," said a voice out of nowhere.

Turning around to see where the voice came from but was unable to locate it and was just about to ask the demon he would be facing but before he could say a word the door that was shut close, suddenly begin to shake before moving to the side and a complete dark beast could be seen crawling out.

"This is going to be a long fight," said Ray with a smile on his face as he unsheathed his blade from the scabbard as he waited for the demon to come out from the dark.

When the demon has finally crawled out, Ray was shocked to see that the demon has a face of a cattle with two hands and legs and with wings flipping on his back.

"Shit that demon is a flying cattle," said Ray in surprise when he saw the demon take flight.

"Roarrrrrr"

The demon roar as it flows forwards Ray at an incredible speed the moment it lad its eyes on him, moving to the side to avoid the demon attack Ray couldn't help but mutter.

"it also has the behavior of a cattle"

Sending wind slash after wind slash but the demon easily avoided them.

Taking a u-turn, the demon slash at the air, and a gigantic red claw manifested in the air before clawing at Ray. Who lip from where he was standing in the hope of dodging the claw attack but to his surprise, the attack did not hit the ground, instead, it keeps chasing after him.

"Dammit, now its attack is chasing after me while I can't even land a hit on it" complain, Ray, as he continues to run.

Whenever the claw was about to hit him, Ray will quickly increase his pace as he increased the distance between them once more, and at the same time, he will avoid the attack of the demon. After running for a while, Ray becoming tired of the little game the demon has begun to run towards the demon with his blade covered in spiritual energy. Slashing the blade upward, a wind slash was sent at the demon but before the wind slash could reach the demon, it first went through the claw attack as it destroyed the claw without slowing down but it became a little dimmed like it has lost a good amount of energy in that attack.

With a scoff, the demon swipes down with his hand as another claw manifested in the air as it met with the wind slash in hope of destroying it this time around but unknowing to the demon, hidden within the wind slash was a little fire that is very difficult to notice because of its size. The moment the wind slash and the claw came in contact, an explosion occurred with the demon being caught in it.

"Haha, why don't you try dodging this one," said Ray with a laugh as he runs into the ball of flame not even caring about his safety.

The moment he entered the flame, the first thing Ray did was to cut off the wings of the demon to disabled its flight mode. Since he won't be able to do any harm to the demon as long as it is in the air but it was a whole different case when being on the ground. Raising his blade to deliver a powerful slash but before Ray could bring it down, he was suddenly sent flying out of the ball of flame and crashed into the sidewall.

Crawling out of the hole created by his crash, Ray raised his head to look at the demon as it walks out of the ball of flame wingless, and Ray's mouth begins to widen into a smile.

"Now let us have a fair fight instead of flying around like a scared fairy but in your case is a scared demon," said Ray as he pulled himself from the ground.

Seeing the human standing even after receiving a strike from it, the demon dash at him with his claws spread out ready to shred him to pieces the moment he got close to him but its wish did not come true as Ray quickly took out the bow and shot an arrow at the demon as it froze in place after being hit by the arrow and before it could recover from its frozen state, Ray has already switched the bow to Excalibur as he runs to the demon and delivers a power swing mixed with spiritual energy as it slashes it into two and the demon split in two before falling dead.

"Haha, how do you like me now," said Ray with a chuckle as he waited for the mysterious voice to announce his voice.

After waiting for a while and there was no reply from the voice or the down opening up for him to proceed to the next stage.

"What is wrong with that voice, can't it see that I have won the match or what," said Ray as he just stood there waiting for the announcement to be made.

"Hey pal, I don't know if you can hear me but if you can, you can take a look at the demon laying there lifeless," said Ray after waiting for about an hour or so.

After waiting for a reply and he was not getting any, Ray turned his attention to the demon whose hands move a little as his eyes grew big.

"Shit how can I forget about the heart" yelled Ray as he went to stand close to the demon stabbing it in the demon.

"You think an going to grant another chance to live then you must be dreaming, now let's see if that voice will announce my victory if I killed the heart," said Ray with a smile on his face.

Squatting close to the demon's body, Ray places his hand on its chest and he begins to search for where the heartbeat is the strongest and after locating where it was, he pulled his blade out and stands the chest of the demon. The moment he stabs the heart, the mysterious voice said.

"Congratulations on passing your first test, you may now go through that door and proceed to the next trial".

"Uh finally, I thought I am going to wait for some days before receiving the announcement, who would have thought that the demon heart was the key for passing the trial," said Ray as he stretched his body and he was about to head for the door when the system notification came.

The moment Ray opens the door, he sighed at the sight before him.

"I am getting tired of all this portal, why don't you just put an elevator here so that does taking the trial can just be brought to the next trial instead of making us go through the stress of being twisted before reaching the destination" complained, Ray.

Meanwhile, in another room, Ellis and jenny were also given the test of fighting a demon which they easily completed without stress since they knew killing the demon through the heart will completely end it before they left the room for the next trial. Unlike Ray who waited for some hours before finally discovering the trick to passing the trial.
