After heading back to the party, Brodie passes fray message to Wyatt and seeing this, Ray couldn't help but say to Ellis who sat next to him.

" Looks like that brother of yours is up to no good".

" They can do as they want since it has nothing to do with me" replied Ellis as giving the two a look.

" Isn't he the one that sent those bandits after you, just take a look at his face you can tell that he is up to no good again" said Ray.

" Look Ray as long as I remain in the clan, he won't be able to do anything stupid so stop worrying too much and have a drink okay" replied Ellis as he pours himself some liquor.

Ray nodded to Ellis was since it was true that no one will be able to touch him as long as he remains in the clan but then again what if they left the clan, anyways placing all this at the back of his head, Ray continues to enjoy himself until two men walk up to them with a jar of liquor in their hands as they took a sit.

" It been long you seen you guys so let's take this time to enjoy a good wine," said Edward as he pours himself some wine.

" Hahaha Edward long time no see, since it's an offer from the right-hand man of the commander who am I to say no to such an offer" replied Ray with a laugh as he also pours himself some wine.

" Alright then master Ellis let's celebrate your return," said Edward as he raises his cup in the air to toast before drinking away.

The group begins to drink enjoy themselves as they tell stories about their time outside the clan while enjoying their drink.

" Wow you mean you guys attack the snake king," asked Edward in shock.

" Not only that but we also sent it running " replied Ray as he begins to boost.

" Here we go again acting all strong and mighty," said Jenny as she sips on her wine.

" So what if you did, all I know is that your is not as amazing and blood boiling as ours," said Ray with a scoff.

" Looks like it is amazing going out of the clan for some month to get some experience is not just a bad idea, just take a look at young master Ellis increase in cultivation after staying outside for almost a year" commented Edward.

" Hey, little brother why don't you have a drink with us brothers," said Simon with a warm smile on his face.

" Just go and spend something with them instead of giving them a cold shoulder," said jenny when seeing the look on Ellis's face that is saying otherwise.

Nodding his head, Ellis went to meet up with his brothers and they started to drink merrily.

" Little brothers are you and that hunter in a relationship or what because I find her quite pretty as to be a hunter," said Wyatt with a chuckle.

" She is my woman big brother so stop having any ideas about making her yours" replied Ellis coldly.

" I heard from commander derrick that you did great in defending the warberry cave against the gnurx attack," asked Simon as he drank a mouthful of wine.

" It was not an easy task and I was quite a relief to have completed it only for me to be attacked by some bandit on my way home to let father know that I am not useless" replied Ellis as he turns to look at Simon coldly.

" It is good to see that little brother was able to shake off those bandits" replied Wyatt with an indifferent look on his face.

" Yes I did but that was after my servant sacrifice their life for me to hang on to life," said Ellis sadly.

" Don't worry little brother for your servants to made such sacrifice for you then it shows how much they care for you and for you to return to the clan unharmed will made them happy with their decision" replied Simon as he fills his cup.

" Enough about me, how are things going with the clan. I heard the Bryan clan are in a constant battle with the clan" asked Ellis.

" True little brother, you are even lucky to not be caught by them on your way to the clan else things won't be as they have seen now and I believe it is one of the reasons why father decided to throw a party" replied Wyatt.

" They won't be able to lay a hand on me if they saw me in the first place unless they are ready to have a battle with the hunters guild" responded Ellis proudly.

" Looks like you have got a powerful backer apart from the clan but you are forgetting that they can still try if they saw you outside and change their identity just to get rid of you," said Simon.

" That's right little brother so better be careful when going outside" added Wyatt.

Ellis nodded to their words as they continue to drink while discussing until the whole party was over and every member of the clan have to leave for him. Being supported by Brodie to his courtyard, Wyatt couldn't help but curse out loud.

" That thief better pray I don't catch him, wanting to charge me triple the amount of what I am paying just to get rid of a small ant-like Ellis".

" Young master the reason why he increases the payment was because of the way things have been with master Ellis" replied Brodie as he helps Wyatt to get on his sit.

" But still he is asking for something he will not be easy to swallow," said Wyatt with a frown on his face.

" So should I tell him to cancel the mission," asked Brodie.

" That won't be necessary since we have already gone this far in the scheme, I will just have a talk with him in person and let him bring the price down a little after he has completed the task"replied Wyatt as he waves his hand to stop Brodie.

" But young master won't that set him off and lead to another conflict," asked Brodie with a bit of fear in his tone.

" If he refuses to complain then killing him where it stands won't be a problem" replied Wyatt as his killing intent gash from his deep eyes.

" Yes, young master, with your strength getting rid of fray won't be difficult for you to do" praised Brodie.

Meanwhile back at the clan head mansion, clan head Finn sat on his throne with commander derrick standing opposite him.

" I am sorry for delaying your time derrick," said clan head Finn.

" That's not a problem, for clan head to summon me here at this time there must be something troubling you my lord" replied commander derrick.

" I believe you must have heard about what happened to my son Ellis and how he lost his protectors " asked clan head Finn.

" Yes my lord, I heard it all" replied commander derrick.

" Then you must know that someone is after his life," asked clan head Finn.

" Yes sir" replied commander derrick once more.

" Good, I want you to appoint two of your men that are loyal to the clan to be his protectors," said clan head Finn.

" That won't be a problem sir" replied commander derrick.

" Good, so how are things going with the Bryan clan" asked clan head Finn.

" They seem to not agree with our terms and might even decide to go to war with us" replied commander derrick.

Clan head Finn sighed as he waves his hand gesturing to commander derrick to take his leave.
