" can't you just let me see the clan head, it is really important," said Josh as he pleads with the guard to let him meet the clan head.
" Young man if you know you can't leave the message behind then you have to wait until they are done with the meeting before passing the message to him" replied the guard.
" I wish I can just pass it to the clan head now," said Josh as he refused to give up.
" Look young man you are not even qualified to see the clan head and here you are saying you want to meet him right away. If not for the fact that you said the message is really important, I would have chase you out of here by now" replied the guard angrily.
Deciding to wait for the meeting to end before speaking with the clan head but after waiting for a long time and the meeting was still not over, josh was beginning to feel restless since he needs to head back to warberry cave to continue with his duty before a report will be filled.
" Dammit, why is it taking so long for they to round things up inside, if not for the sake of young master Ellis helping us during the attack I would have head back by now" complain josh as he sat by the side while waiting for the clan head to come out.
Still, there was no sign of people coming out of the room which is becoming annoying for josh as he turns to look at the guard.
" Hey, are you sure that they are still inside the building or you are just lying to me," asked Josh as he stares at the guard.
" They are still inside alright just wait a little longer okay" replied the guard as he gare at josh.
" But I am already getting late for my duty already" replied josh.
" Then you have to wait since you claim it's very important," said guard with a smug on his face
" But I am already running out of time," said josh helplessly
" Then you have to create some time" replied the guard.
" Which part did you not understand that is very important," asked Josh when he saw the way the guard is acting.
" And what is it you want to speak to me about," said a voice from the room.

Turning to look at where the voice came from, josh and the guard were shocked to see the clan head walking out of the room with his elders. Wasting no time they both bow to show respect to the figures coming from the room.
" Good day clan head" yelled the guard and josh at the same time.
" What is it that is so important that you waited all day to see me," asked clan head, Finn, as he ignores their bow.
" I was ordered by the third young master to inform you of his return" replied josh.
" Wait a minute when you said third young master do you mean Ellis," asked clan head Finn still in shock after hearing that Ellis was alive.
" Yes clan head, sir Ellis is back and he brought along with him some friends" replied josh.
" You can go now," said clan head Finn.
Taking a bow, josh took his leave leaving clan head Finn and his elders.
" Clan head don't you think is inappropriate for the young clan master to be acting in this way," said elder Luke.
" Yes clan head it being long that he was done with his assignment but he decided not to head back to the clan and now he is sending someone to let you know of his arrival" added elder Garry
" You can now take your leave" replied clan head, Finn, as he walks past his elders.
" Ah it feels so good to finally be back," said Ellis as he walks into his courtyard.
" You can say that again" replied Ray as he took a sit.
" Wish maria and Kate were here too it would have been even better," said Ellis as he sighed.
" Wait now that you are back with no maids, won't the clan head get you a new one," asked Ray.
" I don't need any of that, all I want is to live my life peacefully" replied Ellis as he takes a sit.
Meanwhile, when Ray and Ellis were busy discussing, jenny was busy looking around the place in astonishment since it is her first time to be in the courtyard of a young master.
" So how do you like the place," asked Ellis after seeing the adorable look on her face
" Not bad but I think it is a little too big for just one person to live in" replied jenny as she also takes a sit

" In the past, I was not the only one living in here you know," said Ellis with a saddened mood.
" Am sorry for that statement" replied jenny when she saw that her words earlier might have hurt him.
" So Ellis now that you said you won't be having any maids, then how are we supposed to fend for ourselves," asked Ray.
" That won't be a problem since I can just order some of the workers to get me food" replied Ellis with a smile.
" That won't be necessary, since you said that your brother wants you dead he can easily plot to poison your food," said jenny.
" True but then again how are we supposed to feed when we don't have any maid to serve us" replied Ray.
" As your lover, wouldn't be wise for me to be preparing the meals for now on" asked jenny with a charming look on her face.
Seeing her using that one in his midst, Ray could help but shake his head as he said.
" That can also work besides I would love to have a taste of your dish since I haven't before".
" Then it is settled then, if you need anything jenny just asked and I will get it for you," said Ellis with a smile on his face.
The moment Ellis said those words a guard suddenly yell from the entrance of the courtyard.
" Welcome back master Ellis, the clan head demands your presence right away".
" Tell him that I will be there" replied Ellis.
" Alright guys, I think it's time for me to have some chit with my father," said Ellis as he prepares to take his leave.
" No problem, take your time since it being long you but chat about life" replied Ray with a cunning smile on his face.
" Let's me warn you Ray, don't you dare going around drinking in here since you don't have any money with you and use my name to get a free drink" warn Ellis as he walks out of the courtyard and headed to his father's.
" What's wrong with him," said Ray in a low tone but unfortunately for him, jenny heard it and chuckle which pissed him off.
Walking all the way to his father's courtyard, Ellis met some of the servants that worked at the cave in warberry as they greeted him until he eventually got to his destination.
Standing by the entrance, Ellis has a conflicted look on his face since he is going to meet with the man who claims to be his father but doesn't care about what happened to him. Taking a deep breath Ellis finally walks in. After getting inside, the first thing he did was a bow to his father who sat on his throne.
" Greeting father," said Ellis in a low voice.
Instead of answering him, clan head Finn nodded his head in approval as he begins to look at Ellis to see if he has made an improvement while being outside the clan for so long and he was shocked when he found out that he has made a huge improvement in his cultivation.
" Why didn't you come back to the clan after the assignment that was given to you was completed" asked clan head Finn as he decided to put the matter of his cultivation aside.
" I was actually on my way back together with my subordinates before we were ambush and almost lost my life so left with no choice have to hold up in the Hiepia empire" replied Ellis still in his bow.
When Ellis said these words, he felt the Aura in the surroundings becoming too strong for him to bear as he raises his head a little to look at his father only to see him enrage.
" Who have the guts to attack son, if I don't teach that bastard a lesson then I am not the clan head of the Gibson," said clan head Finn as he clenches the armrest of the throne in anger.
" Tell me who was it that attack you while you were returning home," asked clan head, Finn, as he turns to look at Ellis.
" There won't be any need for that father, for I have already taken care of it before my return" replied Ellis.
" If you say so then you can now go and prepare for tonight we will be hosting a feast to celebrate your achievement in the war against the army of gnurx," said clan head Finn.
" Yes, father" replied Ellis as he bows once more before walking out.

Ætla Verǫld
AV Online was just a flash in the pan—a harsh, experimental land which lost most of its players in mere weeks. Only the dedicated few remained, carving out their destinies in corners of the vast abandoned world. Lily Quinn wasn't one of them. With a career worth millions in the esports world, she didn't have time for a game like Avo—but when an exclusive beta test for the new version showed up on her doorstep, she couldn't say no… as much as she wanted to. Literally hooked into the simulation, Lily reluctantly entered a world beyond anything she'd ever dreamed of. Accompanied by seven other beta testers desperate to save their beloved game, Lily dives into a vibrant, beautiful world, where mystery and adventure waits around every corner. Despite her reservations, Lily finds a joyful escape in Avo, shattering her cold, hollow reality. It was just a game though… until the group discovered they couldn't log out. Trapped in a game with no rules, and surrounded by cutthroat players eager to kill for a quick windfall, Lily and her ragged band have no choice but to fight their way out, or die in a game that has turned all too real. Hi there! I'm setting off on yet another adventure, come join me :3 Unusually for me, there's only one perspective this time, and it's quite a bit more action-oriented than I usually write. Don't worry, though: everything's still as character-driven as always, and I never get tired of writing dialogue. Just to acknowledge it up front: this story is heavily inspired by EVE Online and the many stories generated by that world. However, since this is a fantasy setting, not sci-fi, don't expect any real parallels. Chapter publish rate for this one will be whenever I write them, as with Epilogue. I don't expect to move as fast here though, since it's not for NaNo. The plan is chapters somewhere in the 4k-5k range, and hopefully frequently. The Last Science takes priority as always though. Special thanks to Reaver and Ace Arriande for pushing me to get this going, and to all my fellow writers whom I've stolen from been inspired by. You're all wonderful people and I love you Quick reminder: Patrons get to read ahead of what's published! Also, try my other works: The Last Science — A Tale of Modern Magic Epilogue — A Post-Fantasy Psychodrama What are you still doing on the synopsis? Get to reading!
