Left with no strength to fight since they are already out of energy, Ellis could only close his eyes as he awaited death.

" It feels good to see that you are not struggling any more" said the leader of the straw bandit as he took a step forward only to be stopped by straw bandit #2.

" Chief, please allow me " said straw bandit #2 as he unsheathed his blades from the scabbard.

Moving close to the two, straw bandit #2 lifted his blade up and was just about to slash at Ellis when something flew out of the trees and hit straw bandit #2 in the head, causing his attack to miss it target.

" Who did that?" yelled straw bandit #2 in pain as he turned to look at his behind.

" I did, and do you have a problem with that?" asked a voice that echo from the trees.

When Ray and Ellis heard the voice, they were shock before they were filled with joy for they have already recognized who the voice belong to.

Walking out of the trees with a blade behind his back was the vice leader of the Raging Dawn squad. As he focused his gaze at the leader of the straw bandit since he is more powerful than the other.

" You dare hit me with a stone, are you tired of living or what," said straw bandit #2 arrogantly as a glare at the swordsman before him.

" You are the one that is tired of living since you dare attack members of the Raging Dawn" replied the vice leader in a gentle tone but the killing intent they felt from him makes it clear that he is a farce tiger.

" And what if they are members of some dumb squad, are they invincible and for you to barge in here all by yourself really shows how dumb you really are," said straw bandit #2 as he spat in front of the swordsman.

" I don't need my men to deal with the likes of you since I will be more than enough" replied the vice leader gently.

" You must be too full of yourself, and it is going to cause you your life" said straw bandit #2 angrily as he dashed forward with his blade head out.

When straw bandit #2 charge at the vice leader of the Raging Dawn, he just stood not feeling bother about the attacker but when straw bandit #2 was close by, he unsheathed his sword and place it back into the scabbard as he turned to look at Ray and Ellis who were still on the ground. Straw bandit #2 that was just running forward suddenly stop in his track as he fell on the ground with blood gashing out of his body and his eyes wide open in shock of how he has lost his life.

" That's impossible, how on earth was he able to kill him without even making a move," asked Ray in shock since it is the first time he is actually seeing this happening.

" He did make a move alright,, but it is just that it was too fast for the eye to see," replied Ellis as he focused his gaze on their vice leader.

" That's what being overconfident caused you," said the vice leader with a sigh.

Looking at the body of his straw bandit #2 laying on the pool of blood motionless, the leader of the straw bandit was enraged as he took at his blade and dash at swordsman. When the leader begin to attack him, vice leader didn't hold back as he also unsheathed his blade and strike at his opponent.

Sending a powerful slash at the swordsman only for his attack to be deflected by the swordsman as he used his scabbard to hit the leader on the stomach before slashing at him. Seeing the blade getting close to him, the leader could only roll to the side as the blade stroke where he was laying previously as a deep hole was form on the ground.

" Wow, he really seen strong. No wonder he is the vice leader," said Ray in amazement.

" Good thing he was nearby else I wonder what could have happened to us by now" commented Ellis as he continued to watch the fight.

" I am trying to watch a good fight here so don't spoil the mood okay" replied Ray as he gave Ellis an angry look.

They fought for sometime with no one sustaining any injuries until the leader of the straw bandit made a wrong move which made he unguided and taking the opportunity, the swordsman delivered a gentle slash at his left arm. Though the attack did not look strong, but it manages to cut the whole arm of the leader of the straw bandit like it was cutting through a butter

Gritting his teeth as he continued to attack furiously while enduring the pain in attempt to get a hit on the swordsman but all his attack were all nullified by the swordsman and whenever he made a move, he will be injured. Seeing that he has not hoped of winning the fight, the leader of the straw bandit decided to self-destruct, and he channelled his energy in attempt to blow himself up while taking the swordsman down with him.

As if I am going to let you self-destruct" scoff the vice leader.

Swinging his blade gently with his eyes closed, the vice leader strike his sword to the left then the right before muttering beneath his breath.

" Ocean wave: tsunami slash"

The moment he said those words, his blade begin to brighten up as an illusion of ocean wave begin to move behind him like he is standing on top of the wave.

" There is no way he will be able to survive this attack in one piece," said Ray with a cheerful smile on his face.

" The winner has already been decided," replied Ellis.

Shaking his sword a little, the swordsman kick the ground as he pushed forward to the leader of the straw bandit, who has a panic look on his face as he urged his spiritual energy to explode. But before the process could be completed, the swordsman was already in front of him as he slashed forward, with the wave that was behind him surging into his sword as it slash the leader of the straw bandit into four pieces.

Taking a deep breath, the vice leader kept his sword on the scabbard before turning around as he walked to the two who were still resting their body against the tree.

" It's very bold of the both of you to be facing a really powerful fighters and luckily for you guys I was keeping watch else who knows how things would have ended" said the vice leader as he squat before Ellis and Ray.

" Wait a minute, you mean you have been watching the whole thing, and you didn't even bother to show yourself," said Ray angrily when he heard their vice leader said those words.

" Yes I have been here the whole time" replied the vice leader straight away.

" And you didn't even bother to give us a hand," said Ray.

" U didn't help you because I wanted to see what you two are capable of and to my amazement you did well for a foundation realm," replied the vice leader.

" A member of the guild just lost his life, and you didn't do anything, is this how the guild operate," asked Ellis.

" Not quite, he deserved it for him to help an enemy out with their plans even if it was intentional or not has already broken the rule of the guild" replied the vice leader.

Hearing his explanation calm Ellis down a little, and that is when another question hit him.

" How do you know that we will be here," asked Ellis as he looked at their vice leader.

" Yeah, how did you know we'll be here," commented Ray.

" I was given a tax by the leader to keep watch over those that were involved with the quest concerning the demon, and seeing you guys leaving the empire I begin to follow you from behind " replied the vice leader with a faint smile.

" Oh I see,, but I thought the matter concerning the demon must have been taken care of by now since the clans are already involved" asked Ellis.

" Not really, with what is going on right now, the movement of that unknown force will be cunning. By the way who would have thought that there is a young clan master in the hunter guild and also a member of the suicide squad" replied the vice leader before giving Ellis a look.

" I was being hunted by my brother and the only place that I can find peace is here," replied Ellis without beating around the bush.

" And you decided to join the guild for safety, why didn't you just place a quest asking for some men to escort you back to your clan," asked the vice leader.

" That's because I don't want any more people to get involved,"replied Ellis.

" I see, so tell me which of the clan do you belong to," asked vice leader.

" Am from the Gibson clan," replied Ellis.

" That's seen far from here, anyway we'll have to leave that until we get to the guild" replied the vice leader.
