" So sir, when do you want to meet up with your brother" asked the hunter.
" As so as possible if that's okay with you" replied straw bandit #2
" Of course am okay with it, as long as your brother Ellis visit the guild, telling him won't be a problem" said the hunter.
" I really own you one for getting me to meetup with my brother" said straw bandit #2
" It's the least I can do for you sir and if you don't mind, I will be taking my leave now" replied the hunter as he got up from his seat and walk out of the pub
" Finally we can get rid of that spoilt young clan master and leave this place" said straw bandit #2 as he also got up from his seat.
Before going home, Ellis went to the guild market to purchase some pills that will help boosted his realm Before leaving the guild.
" Better take the time now to cultivate before we can go on any quest," said Ellis to Ray.
" How many times do I have to tell you that I don't need all these pills to boosted my realm, it will only serve as waste to my money," replied Ray.
" So battling is the only way you can boost your realm eh" asked Ellis.
" Not just battling, feeding my blades with the souls of my opponent is also one of the factors. Beside can this pills really guarantee you a breakthrough" replied Ray.
" As long as I am already at the peak and need to Break through the bottom neck, it also speeds the rate at which one cultivation base increases unlike when cultivating without pills" said Ellis as they continue to head home.
" It is still going to be useless for someone like me" replied Ray.
Shutting themselves up for some time which Ellis use in cultivating, meetings have being going on within the various clan after the news about a demon being summoned into the lower heaven with the issue of the key missing, every clan took the matter seriously as they sent their elite to investigate the matter meanwhile in the pub, straw bandit #2 was sitting with a bottle of bear in front of him as he listened to the news going about in the put and at the same time was waiting for the hunter to arrive.

Entertaining himself with his bottle of wine, the hunter rush into the pub as he scanned the place with his eye in search of the straw bandit #2 until he found him sitting all by himself. Making his way to straw bandit #2 location, the hunter was just two meter way from straw bandit #2 when he heard a voice that was more of a whisper.
" You really came late today unlike the other time" said straw bandit #2.
After finally reaching the straw bandit, he bow before replying.
" I believe senior must have heard the rumours going around about the key that grant the demon realm access to our realm was taken by an unknown force, we were tasked to look for the clue which is why I was not able to meet up on time".
" Leave that aside, were you able to meet up with my brother," asked straw bandit #2
" Not really, I have not seen him within the guild and I even tried asking around if anyone has seen him but the response I get was that he has not been in the guild after the duel with Josh" replied the hunter.
" But don't worry senior, I will keep on searching for him " said the hunter when he saw the tired look on straw bandit #2
" Am sorry for having troubled you about my brother" said straw bandit #2 as he continued to put on an act.
" Not at all, senior is the least I can do to return the favour" replied the hunter as he waved at straw bandit #2.
" So how did the search for the key is are, do you have any lead at where it could be," asked straw bandit #2.
" We haven't been able to find any clue that leads to the key and even the Raging Dawn vice leader was also depart by the leader" replied the hunter.
' Good, with all this uproar we can easily kill the young clan master without any disturbance' thought straw bandit #2
" In case you see him, do not hesitate to inform me as soon as possible," said straw bandit #2 as he walked out of the pub.
Finally, after exhausting all the pills to boosted his cultivation base, Ellis finally decided to come out.

" Man I believe by now every thing should have calm down" said Ellis as he begins to stretch his body.
" No, the whole empire is in uproar because of the incident with the demon" replied Ray who was just sitting by the window while playing with his blade.
" Looks like someone has been busy gathering information," said Ellis with a smile on his face.
" It was all due to being bored and since there is nothing left for me to do, I have to pay attention to the news about the demon since it is now our problem," replied Ray.
" Okay king of boredom, I thought you would be going to the pub and get drunk " joked Ellis.
" Haha very funny, anyway since the whole place is in an uproar, don't you think it is the best opportunity for us to take on a quest" asked Ray.
" I know you won't be able to live a day without having a fight and yes it should be the best time but only if we are doing the quest within the empire" replied Ellis.
" Then what are we waiting for, come on let's go pick a quest before I lose it" said Ray as he placed his blade back on the scabbard before walking out of the house.
" Don't worry about losing it because I will be here to bring you back to your senses" said Ellis with a smile.
" Shameless pig" replied Ray after turning to give Ellis a good look.
Walking into the guild, they were just about to head to the quest board when a hunter suddenly approach them.
" Hey where have you been all this while" said the hunter that recently have a talk with straw bandit #2.
" Eh do I know you" asked Ellis with a confused look on his face.
" I am sorry for not introducing myself earlier, I am Jesper, an apprentice hunter" replied Jesper.
" Nice to meet you Jesper, so why are you looking for me," asked Ellis once more.
" Oh I was sent by your elder brother who has been waiting for you to return to the guild for over six months now" replied Jesper.
" Wait a minute, did you just say my brother in here in Hiepia empire," asked Ellis in shock.
" Yes, and he wanted you to come see him as soon as possible" replied Jesper.
" Looks like that dude from the Patton clan sold you out," said Ray with a serious look on his face.
" I knew he would it only a matter of time, but for my brother to come to Hiepia empire really seen fishy" commented Ellis as he was in thought.
" Are you worried that he might be here to Kill you," whisper Ray to Ellis.
" No that's not it, since flex has told him my whereabouts it won't be wise for him to act here" Ellis whispered back.
Seeing the two whispering to each other kind of make he felt awkward, coughing loudly to catch their attention.
" Am sorry if I in any way disturb your discussion, but senior would like to meet you as since as possible" said Jesper after getting their attention.
" Senior, for Jesper to address your brother as senior shows how powerful he is," said Ray with a chuckle.
" It's not surprising if he addressed him as senior since he has the strength to back it up" Replied Ellis before turning to Jesper and asked.
" So where is my brother residing at the moment".
" That I do not know,, but senior said you should come see him tomorrow by the hut in the east of Hiepia empire" replied Jesper.
" Sigh, okay I have heard you " said Ellis as he walked pass Jesper but before he could get far, he heard Jesper calling once more.
" What is it this time around," said Ellis angrily.
" Is it okay if I go with you to see senior," asked Jesper with an embarrassing look on his face.
" Sure no problem" replied Ellis as he could to walk.
" Hey slow down, do you think it is a good idea for you to go see your brother," asked Ray.
" Under normal circumstances I am not supposed to but there must be a reason why he wanted to see me, so I have no choice but to go" replied Ellis as he continue to walk.

For to stop is to die, and to die means he failed, failed himself and all those who still desperately need him.***The Author's Note:This is another in the Core series, the first one being The Wardens of Destiny while there is also a side story The Memoires of Eisen that's exclusive on Patreon for those who would like to support me.The Recordings of Raan occurs after the events in The Wardens of Destiny, and it's a separate thread from the main story. Among other things, I separated it into a new book as it has elements of progressive LitRPG and a fantasy-world setting.Since I'll keep on writing The Wardens of Destiny, this will be one of my side-projects. Eventually in the future, I plan to integrate some of the protagonists in this story with the main storyline.

(Re)Install
After his death, Garry, AKA Gaz, is summoned by a nameless goddess to another world and tasked with a very important mission, the main characters sets out to travel around in search of a way to accomplish his objectives and live happily ever after. The catch? The mission is to save the same goddess, who've been sealed away for all eternity in who knows where. Having little to no energy left, she was unable to create a decent blessing, so Gaz is left with a weak body in a savage world that he knows nothing about. Also, did i mention he wasn't reincarnated as a human? Neither as a beast? Well...His actual body might actually not be that bad. As long as he survives the first day, of course.-------------Okay, some of you might know from Insania Online, some don't, so might as well explain it here. This is a Re: (ish) style story, with a Scifi (ish) setting and some fantasy (ish) assets (precision is overrated). This is kind of a side project I will work while I take a break from insania. This is a crazy idea i had thanks to a certain game's trailer, and decided to write it. Even if it starts fairly serious, it will probably have a lot of wacky comedy, so don't say you haven't been warned and don't try to take it too seriously. Really. If you are expecting a dramatic and heavy story, this is very probably not what you want(who knows? I'm just starting it...).

Unique Fusion Magic Hex
World Essence. The mysterious energy coursing throughout the entire land of Vor'ten, and very possibly the entire world. This energy has allowed humanity to flourish, building great empires and vast kingdoms, conquering nature itself with just a sweep of their hand. Humans were the strongest existence, and with the help of channeling this World Essence, many were able to turn into Magic Knights, gaining magical abilities to combat the various fierce beasts throughout the lands.Alas... those glory days of old were long gone. Humanity has now been pushed to the brink of destruction, and now the remaining members of the human race are encased within giant domes known as 'Alkkras', made with the last remaining bits of the World Essence. It was said that those giant domes were the last gifts left by the remnants of the ancient human race, as a means to protect the future generation from the attacks of the many wild beasts roaming outside. Five Spiritualist Invokers, all combined together, used the last bit of the World Essence and sacrificed their lives to lay a gigantic, 1028-seal formation magic array to form these barriers, forever saving humanity, but also trapping humanity within these barriers. However, the humans were never completely helpless. No matter how little World Essence was left, the humans still had some remaining. Realizing the incoming crisis, the humans found a way to seal World Essence inside a special type of crystal. Soon, these crystals began to become implanted into weapons, turning them into World Essence Weapons, and they began to display properties of their own. Extreme heat. Bone chilling cold. Absurd sharpness. These normal weapons, after being imbued with the energy of the World Essence Crystals, began to form natural affinities to elements. Fire. Water. Earth. Wind. Darkness. Light. Using these weapons, one could become a Chevalier that wielded the power of the elements. However, if one wanted to reach a higher level of enlightenment and understanding, one could become an Invoker. Via the study of magic array formations, one could directly use the power of the World Essence to cast devastating magics upon the enemy. These people were Invokers, highly valued for their combat potential by the Army. These weapons and magical arrays were used in the great fight between the humans and the beasts long ago. They had long since been put away in storage, almost long forgotten...However, after ten-thousand years of suppression, the human race is beginning its counterattack against the Beasts... Synth was an Invoker in the Magecroft Academy. However, his talent was terrible, being only at the Spark Stage. This led to him being looked down upon and bullied. He was unable to cast any Calamity-rank or even Destruction rank spells, and was only able to cast Coalescing rank spells at the age of 17, a record low in the academy for cultivating these rare Invokers. Even though he put in more effort than anyone else, he was still unable to advance his Channeling Energy. But due to his constant research and study, Synth ended up creating a power that would go against the heavens - he had found how to Fuse spells together. After trying it out once, merging the magical array for the Small Fireball and the Mortal Judgement skills, he was able to create a mid-rank Destruction tier spell, Holy Judgement Flame. However, after this, no matter how hard he tried, he was unable to fuse more spells together or even cast them, and noticed a weird, pentagram shaped formation on his left arm. He would later call this mark the Fusion Magic Hex, a curse that prevented the wielder from casting magic that wasn't their own...This meant that with the exception of Synth's newly created skill, , he was going to have to create unique magic arrays if he ever wanted to step on the path of becoming an Invoker! This power that destroyed the laws of the Invoking System, and his unyielding persistence in testing and creating new spells, would later gain Synth the nickname the Unique Fusion Hex, and lead him to become one of the strongest beings in the entire World!
