With all the sabre heading his way, Ellis just stood as he continued to gather energy before punching out at the incoming josh.
Taking a miniature of a lion head, it flew towards the approaching josh and not waiting for the lion to hit any of them, Ellis yelled with all his strength.
" Explode"
A great explosion occur as all four joshes were caught by the explosion, yelling in pain, josh clone begin to fade away while leaving the real body behind. Taking the opportunity that has presented itself before him, Ellis dash forward not giving josh the time to recover from the explosion Ellis was throw a punch at him as it landed accurately landed in his rib sending him flying backwards as he pass out due to the pain he was feeling with blood flowing from the edge of his mouth.
"You are lucky we are not enemies else I would have ended you before you have the time to fight back" said Ellis to himself as he watched josh falling on the ground with a blank look in his face.
The arena became quiet and everyone were shocked to see Ellis standing as the victor with Josh passing out. After waiting for some time and there was no reply from josh, the announcer stood up and up to josh as he placed his hand on his neck to feel his pulse before sighing as he said.
" And the winner of this duel is no other than Ellis".
There was still silence and one can hear the sound of a needle falling on the ground if there was one. Breaking the silent with a clap, Ray said excitedly.
" Well done Ellis, you just made me proud" said Ray as he continued to clap and before long Gray and Roland has they joined him to celebrate.
" Go think I bet on the kid in winning else I would have made a massive lost this time around" said Gray as he continued to clap.
" Yeah, and it seen like Ray was right when said that he was not taking the fight serious," added Roland.
In the front row, the leader had a wide smile on his face as he gave the vice leader a look.
" You were saying" asked the leader as he continued to smile.
" He only won with due luck and that is all" replied the vice leader as he got up from his seat before walking out.

" Hope you won't rub the kid of the spirit stone along the way," teased the leader.
" Just because you manage to win today, you are already in cloud nine" replied the vice leader as he walked out.
" Why won't I be happy, this is the first time I've ever won against you, " said the leader in a low voice as he turned to look at the stage.
There stood Ellis who was just breathing heavily though he was not seriously injured but seeing him, one could tell that he was mentally exhausted. Giving the order, two men walk up to him as they led him to get some treatment.
" Congratulations on the win sir" said Ray as he went to approach the leader to give him the reward.
" Thank you, Ray, besides you also win big today didn't you" asked the leader.
" You can say that again, wait where did vice leader go," asked Ray when he saw the leader sitting alone.
" He went out, you can always find him by the shore of Whispering Beck" said the leader as he took both the storage ring before taking his leave.
" That was quite a show" said the leader as he walked out.
" Looks like josh will be taking on quest quite often now since he spent a lot of his point in the match," said Roland as they watch josh being carried away by the medic team.
" Hey Ray, how is it going with the vice leader" asked Gray when Ray walk up to them.
" It's seem like he lost and storm out of the guild" replied Ray as he took his seat.
" Did the leader mention where he could be," asked Roland.
" He said he should be by the shore of whispering Beck," replied Ray.
" Just as I thought, I still don't know why the vice leader always spend his time by the shore of whispering Beck whenever he return from a quest," said Gray with a sigh.
" I heard that the place is good for calming one state of mind and as someone who follow the sword path it should be very useful to him" commented Roland.
" Speaking of sword path, ain't you also a swordsman, why haven't I see you meditating by the shore," asked Gray.

" Everyone has their way of mastering their skill to perfection and meditating by the shore won't be useful to me" replied Roland to Gray question.
" I think I should go and check up on Ellis" said Ray as he got up and started heading to the direction that lead to where the injured are been treated and since he had been there before, he was able to get to where Ellis was being laid without asking around for direction.
Walking into the room raw saw Ellis sitting on the bed while swinging his leg, getting close to him, Ray Patten he on the shoulder lightly as he said.
" You did great, my friend".
" All I did was just beat him up and it seen like I over did it" replied Ellis with a sigh.
" You shouldn't show pity to him, he never held back when attacking you," said Ray angrily.
" But still I shouldn't have beaten him that much," said Ellis once more.
" What a minute, are you feeling sorry for him, or you are just praising yourself for beating someone that is higher in terms of realm," asked Gray who has been watching by the side.
" Is not that I am bragging but have you bothered taking a good look at josh," asked Ellis.
" Nope, apart from passing out, we haven't seen him" replied Roland.
" Is his injuries serious," asked Gray who seen to be getting at what Ellis was trying to say.
" Yes and jenny is really mad at me and even said she won't be tending to my wounds" complain.
" Wow for miss jenny to criticize you, you must have really over done it" commented Gray.
" Come to think of it, you don't actually need any treatment which is why jenny decided not to tend to you. That's also the treatment I received from her when I was brought here for treatment," added Ray.
" Enough with that, I hope you benefitted a lot from the bet earlier," asked Ellis with a smile on his face.
" Yeah we did and it's all thanks to you, but the problem now is getting the reward from the vice leader" replied Ray as he began to laugh awkwardly.
" And what do you mean by that," asked Ellis with a frown on his face.
Turning to Gray, Ray put on a smiling face as he said.
" Brother Gray, why don't you explain to Ellis about the situation at hand".
" Why me can't you just tell here Already since you have started saying the topic" replied Gray with an angry look on his face.
Before long they have started arguing among themselves, and it was getting really annoying for Ellis.
" Can someone please tell me before I lose it" yelled Ellis which frighten the duo.
" Cough cough" Ray cleared his throat as he said with a smile. " You see the vice leader was nowhere to be found right after the match ended and though we have a good idea of where he might be, but the problem is how should we approach him".
" So you are telling me that I have been wasting the energy that I recovered not quite long only for you to tell me that you are scared of meeting the Vice Leader" asked Ellis angrily.
" it Is not that we are scared of meeting him but he seen to be in a bad mood when he left the arena" replied Gray.
" I don't care if he is in a sad mood or not, if I don't get my share by the end of today then you all should be ready to have a duel with me," said Ellis in anger.
" You don't have to go to that extent, since we can still get the point after we leave this place" replied Roland who seen to be a little scared of Ellis.
" Enough with all the threat, let's leave this place to get the reward from the vice leader before he go on another quest again" said Ray as he began to drag Ellis from the bed.
" Hey take it easy will you, can you see that I am still recovering" said Ellis only for Ray to ignore him as he drag him out of the bed.
Getting him off the bed they begin to head for the whispering Beck only for them to meetup with vice leader along the way.

The Twelve

Capable of wielding magic and using spirits of their own, these shamans were not only skilled in battle, but also divination. However, they were unable to correctly predict Japan's loss in World War Two, and suffered the punishments that followed. Persecuted and torn apart by infighting, the Onmyoji reunited under the banner of the Tsuchimikado clan, descendants of Abe no Seimei, one of the greatest Onmyoji to ever live. The Onmyoji began to rebuild and to regrow. Ren is the sole heir to the Tsuchimikado family, but has been unable to practice Onmyodo ever since his birth, even though he possesses the greatest ability in the family. But when disaster befalls his family, Ren has nobody to turn to, and no idea how to use his powers. As he journeys to escape the same fate his family faced and attempts to learn how to use his powers, there is only one question on his mind; as the Tsuchimikado heir, how can he save the Onmyoji... from themselves? ---------------------------------------------- note from author: I'm writing this based loosely on the very real theories of Onmyodo, and so my writing may not be a truthful or accurate depiction of Onmyodo or other related areas, such as religion, for instance. That is why, while depicted in the real world, events that happen may seem unrealistic and it may be easier to imagine it as a parallel universe that is the same as ours, but with slight differences so that my possible errors will be easier to overlook. Sorry, and thanks!
