" Do you really want me to lose badly," asked Ellis with a frown on his face.
" Why would I want you to lose the fight when I am betting on you winning," replied Ray.
" If you don't then how can you be making such wishes" asked Ellis once more.
" Am just saying since I know I am going to be bored for some days if not months" replied Ray.
" Since you will have nothing to do, why don't you also go into seclusion" asked Ellis
" That will just be a waste of my time" replied Ray while shaking his head in decline.
" Alright then, I guess you will have to think of something to do when I am in seclusion. that's reminds me, we are already on a squad, so you can always keep yourself busy by going on a quest with the others" said Ellis.
" Yes we are already in a squad but who want to go on a quest with a weakling" asked Ray.
" No one and you are not a weakling" replied Ellis
" And do you think every have the same opinion as you" asked Ray
" Not at all which is why you will have to ask Gray to always take you along whenever he's on a quest" replied Ellis.
" I think that will work as well" said Ray with a smile.
After leaving the rest behind, Gray went to meet up with the leader. Getting to the office that was allocated to their leader, Gray was just about to knock when a calm voice came from the inside.
" Come in".
Helping himself with the door, Gray went inside and bow towards the middle age man sitting opposite him while wearing a scarlet red robe.
" Rise" said the leader.
" The quest has been completed sir" said Gray after rising from the bow.
" Tell me, what is the quest all about," asked the leader.
" The clan head of the Patton clan daughter went missing for some days, and we were tasked to find her" replied Gray as he stood before the leader.
" His daughter went missing, I see no wonder he refused to leave any information about the quest in fear of letting his enemies know" said the leader to himself before looking at Gray and said.
" I believe there is more to the story since it took you long enough to complete the quest".

" We went to the Cayson clan to investigate since it was the last place she has visited only to discover that the young clan master Nicholas was also missing and not only that but some citizens also went missing. With many investigations we managed to get an information that lead us to the curious wetland wood where we saw a cottage" said Gray as he stopped to look at their leader if he is still listening to the report before he continues.
" After getting inside, we were finally able to discover that the missing citizens and our target were being held captive by the demon king worshippers".
When Gray said this, the leader brow twisted with a frown on his face as he said coldly.
" The demon king worshippers were actually hiding in our continent".
" I was also shocked when I saw them in the cottage" replied Gray to his leader word before the leader summon him to continue with the report.
" They were actually going to use the captives as sacrifice to the demon king,, but we didn't let that happen. Fighting with all that we have, we were able to defeat them but that's when the leader of the group sacrifice himself to activate the portal that link to the Demon realm and summon a demon over" said Gray.
" Since he was able to activate the portal those that mean the statue that stood as the key was also available" asked the leader.
" Yes sir, the statue was available, and we tried destroying it, but we were not strong enough to" replied Gray.
" If you can easily destroy the key then it won't be a key any more not to mention that it was forged from many saint grade materials" said the leader as he begins to massage his chin.
" Yes sir even josh sabre was destroyed when he tried hacking the statue into two" said Gray.
" It is to be expected. So tell me how were you all able to escape the demon without being seriously injured," asked the leader.
" We did not run from the demon but instead took its life down there" replied Gray.
When the leader heard this statement his eyes open up wide in shock as he said.
" Your team actually killed the demon, that very hard to believe".
" Haha, I also couldn't believe that we actually killed it" replied Gray with a laugh.

" Come on tell me how were your team able to kill the demon" asked the leader.
" Well all the credit goes to those two that joined the squad recently" said Gray awkwardly.
" You mean those boys that I tested the other day," asked the leader in amazement.
" Yes sir there are the one" replied Gray as he begins to tell the leader how they were able to beat the elites due to the two and how they contributed greatly against the demon.
" So he has finally broken through the body first shackle, what a surprise. I can't wait to see what he does next," said the leader with a smile on his face.
" Unfortunately he won't be active for some time" said Gray with a pain expression.
" What do you mean by that," asked the leader in confusion?
" Ellis is drained of energy entirely after using his ultimate technique twice and by the look of thing the technique seen demanding of a lot of spiritual energy to activate which is also one of the reasons why we return late" replied Gray.
" A technique that drain him of his whole spiritual energy, I think this kid background in not as simple as it seems, anyway it's good to see that you all came back unharmed and as for the kid, I let's give he some time to recover his strength since he has already done some much." said the leader.
" Thank you sir" replied Gray with a bow before around to leave when he suddenly remembered the event.
" What is it this time around," asked the leader when he saw Gray stood walking out.
" It's like this sir, josh challenges Ellis to a fight, and we will need the vice leader to stand as a bookmaker for the fight" Gray said with a smile on his face.
" And you need my help with that," asked the leader.
" I hope it not too much for this low subordinate to asked" replied Gray with a bow.
" Hmm, and when are they going to have the fight" asked the leader as he massaged his chin.
" The fight will proceed a day after Ellis has fully recovered," replied Gray.
" Alright I will let the vice leader know about it, but it is up to him to decide if he wanted to stand as the bookmaker for the fight" said the leader.
" Thank you sir" said Gray happily as he bow once move.
" If that is all, you can take your leave. And I will have to trouble you with the distribution of the reward among your team later on" replied the leader as he waved his hand at Gray signalling him to leave.
Bowing once more, Gray left the office. After he was left alone in his office, the leader put on a smile on his face as he said.
" This will be the best opportunity to watch that kid display his strength and also have a bet with Gabriel, but first thing let's get rid of the key to the Demon realm" said the leader as he took out a paper and a brush before writing on it and after he was through he called his subordinate.
" Here deliver this to the vice leader and tell him that I said he should handle it as soon as possible" said the leader before dismissing the subordinate.
After walking out of the leader's office, Gray went down to meet up with the team and when they saw he's coming, they ran up to him and josh asked in anticipation.
" So what did leader say".
" He was very pleased with our performance and has also approved of your fight with Ellis" replied Gray with a smile.
" What about the statue, did he say anything," asked Ellis.
" He did not say anything but knowing the kind of person the leader is, he will surely see to it as soon as possible, so you don't have to worry about it" replied Gray.
" That's good to hear, if you guys don't mind I will be taking my leave" said Ellis.
" Feel free beside the leader commanded that you should take your time to recover, but before you go why don't we stop by the pub for some drink to end the day" replied Gray with a smile.
" Sound good to me" said Ray.
" Why wouldn't it sound go to you freeloader" replied Ellis to Ray.
Everyone laughed at his comment as they take their leave and head to the pub.

Grinning Enigma
Freddy is a very bad boy. Meets some people that know what he did. He tries to escape punishment, makes it [Redacted]. Freddy might be a mass-murdering troll, but he isn’t a bad person, right? Right? Disclaimer: This is not an instruction manual. If you want to be a horrible human being, go figure it out yourself. Autopsy: Writing this story gave me some degree of insight into how much I've managed to fuck up my own personality by suppressing basic needs. Now I hate myself even more. It started as a story where the MC was supposed to be a blend of the NZ-land shooter and other cancerous personalities. That way I wouldn't feel bad about torturing him. Instead I ended up witnessing all the worst aspects of my own personality, or lack thereof. I'm a horrid person, I can't even bring myself to do what's the only right thing at this point.

Eusocial
There's a reason people made the word improbable. Just because something would never happen based on common sense or reason, doesn't mean it can't happen. For example, a soul maintaining their memories through the River of the afterlife, a stream of ethereal energies that remove and store memories from the recently departed only to return when they die again. Another example, a soul by it's sheer will maintaining awareness during the process of a new body's development; nearly infintesimile chances of happening, but there is still a chance. Hi, you can call me Esseu (S U) and I managed to do both of those nearly impossible things back to back. My reward for such a feat? I was turned into a glorified bee keeper.
