And that's how three days flew by and the team were still inside the cottage in the forest as they wait for Ellis to recover. And on the fourth day, he was able to recover ten percent of his spiritual energy.

" Do you think you can walk now because I am beginning to get really bore in this hall" said Ray when he felt the spiritual energy flowing within Ellis.

" As long as am not going to engage myself in any combat, I should be able to walk back to the guild" replied Ellis as he got up from his meditation.

" That's good now we can finally leave this place as go prepare for the big fight" said Ray cheerfully as he begins to walk towards the exit.

Seeing Ray walking out, Ellis shook his head before walking out of the room, by now the rest of the team have already went out the moment they felt the Aura that was coming out from Ellis. They were able to catch up with the rest of the team and together the left the cottage only to see the hostage that they have risked their lives to save were actually waiting outside for their return.

" What the hell are they still doing here" said the amazed josh.

Walking out of the crowd, Nicholas went forward and bow his head a little as a sign of respect to the hunters before replying.

" Our lady here refused to leave without you guys coming along" said Nicholas as he turned to peek at Ellis from the side.

' Where the hell is that fat pig' curse Nicholas within as he continues to search for Ellis among the hunters but could not find him except for a new slender guy standing with the hunters.

" So just because we are still in there, you all decided to stay and wait for our return. So what if we died in there won't those guys take you all inside and continue with the ritual and then our effort would have been put to waste" said Gray in fury after hearing what Nicholas.

Nicholas just lower his head as he tries to avoid meeting Gray eyes.

" You don't have to blame them all since it was I that have made them stay" said Amanda when she saw Nicholas been placed in an awkward position.

Amanda turns to look at the hunters in search for the one that has made her stay behind but could not find him among the hunters.

" Where is Ellis asked Amanda in frown when she couldn't find him.

" I am right here Amanda" replied Ellis as he waved at her.

" Y-o-u are Ellis" the words could hardly come at of her mouth when she saw Ellis the way he is now.

" Yes it is me in the flesh or do you wish I was killed in there" replied Ellis with a chuckle.

Walking forward and stood close to Ellis as she placed her hand on his face and begin to feel it before hugging him tightly with tears rolling from her eyes.

" You look different, tell me what happened to you in there" asked Amanda.

" It's nothing serious, it is just that I am out of energy, but I turn back to normal after I have fully recovered" replied Ellis.

" Eh Ellis it's time to leave" said Ray while looking at Ellis on envy.

Pulling himself from her embrace, Ellis held her hand as they follow the crowd from behind. After walking out of the forest, they escorted the hostage back to the town where they went their different ways before taking Nicholas and Amanda back and on their way to the Cayson clan, Ellis suddenly called out to Nicholas who have been walking all by himself.

" Can you please not tell your father or anyone that I am in Hiepia empire" said Ellis.

" I won't tell anyone about it okay" replied Nicholas before walking ahead of the group.

Ellis sigh in relief when Nicholas agreed before turning to Amanda.

" Thanks a lot" said Ellis.

" It's nothing by the way, why are you keeping your appearance a secret from the other clans" asked Amanda.

" That's because someone wants me died, and they would have succeeded if not for my maids who sacrifice their lives just so I can escape" replied Ellis in pain when he mentioned his maids.

" For someone to send assassin's to take your life, you must have offended someone" said Amanda.

" And I guess they must have known that you are not interested but why are they trying to take your life when they should be thinking about dealing with the other" asked Amanda.

" I see now, so does anyone know about you being here on Hiepia empire" asked Amanda.

" No one except for your elder brother Felix" replied Ellis.

" So what are you going to do now" asked Amanda with a bit of fear in her eyes.

" Nothing but wait to see how it goes and if I were to be attack him then it means that my second elder is the one pulling the spring from behind" replied Ellis.

" Then you must be really careful when going out on a quest" said Amanda.

Ellis just smile to her advice before they continue with the escort and before long they were already near the Cayson clan. Ellis decided to wait outside for the other to return.

After sending Nicholas back to his clan, the group continue to head for the Patton clan, and after they got there, Ellis and Ray waited outside, and before they could walk far, Ellis called out to Amanda.

" Relax Ellis I won't say a word to my father" said Amanda with a giggle before following the rest of the team into the Patton territory.

" She still cares for you bro" said Ray as he smack Ellis on his shoulder.

" I know she does, but I can't have her not when am not the clan head" Replied Ellis with a sigh.

" And that's how the beast lose the beauty" said Ray.

" And who are you calling a beast," asked Ellis.

" No one I was just Say" said Ray as he looked to the side.

After waiting for the some time, Gray and the rest of the team came out. Walking forward to meet them Ray asked.

" Nothing much apart from investigating who was involved in the plan to bring the demon into our realm" said Gray.

" And what about the reward," asked Ray.

" The guild will be the one to give out the rewards and not the clan" replied Roland.

Making their way back to the guild, Gray left the rest of the team behind as he went to report to the leader.

" So Roland when are we allowed to place our bet" asked Ray after Gray left.

" Not nowz we will have to wait for the vice leader before deciding" replied Roland.

" Alright then , I wish the fight can start tomorrow" said Ray with a sigh.
