" Huff, it feels superb being among a team that took out a demon" said josh proudly as he walked to where the statue is located.

" I thought you said you regretted joining the team in taking this quest" asked Roland while being shock on how his friend could easily change character.

" Nah, that was then, but now things are different and I am kinda glad I didn't run away" replied josh as he laughed away.

" Oh well at least we finally completed the task and I can go home to freshen up" said Roland with a stretch of his body.

Walking up to josh and Roland, Gray smack them from behind as he said.

" How are things over here".

" Fantastic, I was even telling Roland how glad I am for not missing out on this quest" replied josh.

" But I thought you said you regretted tagging along" asked Gray.

" That's also what I said when I heard those words from his stinky mouth" adding Roland with a chuckle.

" Nonsense, it is a blessing to witness a demon fall and not just by anyone but us and by the way I don't have a stinky mouth" replied josh.

" Anyway now that we know how frighten a demon can be, we need to work hard and prepare for cases like this said Gray.

" Yeah, I am thinking of taking my cultivation serious this time. Just imagine what would have happened if we were too weak to stand our ground against it" asked Roland.

" Fighting an offensive opponent that attack aggressively is really task not to talk about facing both defensive and offensive opponent" added Roland.

" I know you may be scared of facing them both but am not" replied josh.

" I bet you won't be able to face the fat one in a fight" said Gray this time around.

" Do you want to have a bet with me Gray because I am ready to challenge him to a fight in the arena when we get back" asked Josh.

" You fool can't you see that he is very much out of energy and would need more time to recover to his peak" replied Gray as he turned to look at Ellis who was sitting on the ground.

" What is there to worry about when I can challenge him after he has recovered" asked Josh.

" I can see that you really want to get your ass kicked so badly" replied Roland.

" Come on, why are you two thinking those kids could best me in a fight" asked Josh angrily.

" Have you forgotten that the fat one was able to face the leader of the worshippers on his own and after breaking through his shackle, he beat up the expert that Ray was facing with only one move" replied Roland as he reminded josh about how strong Ellis is even though he only specialized in defence.

" You are forgetting that he was fighting the leader of the worshippers together with his girlfriend and the reason why he was able to beat with only one move was because the expert has been fighting for long and have losing most of his energy" said josh.

" You know what after Ellis have finally recovered to his peak, I will personally invite him to exchange blows with you" said Gray as he raised his hands up in defeat.

" That will be so great, so are we still betting or what" asked Josh in excitement after hearing what Gray said.

" Of course the bet is still on and let me tell you the stack will have to be at one thousand contribution points at minimum. If you don't enough point to make the bet you can just back out now" replied Gray coldly.

" And why would I back out facing having the chance to earn extra points. Do you mind stop giving me that cold look, we are only gamble here and not fighting" said josh?

After they have agreed on their bet, they begin to discuss what to do next after the return to the guild.

" So Gray when are we heading back" asked Roland.

" And why did you say so because I can't see the need of us staying here when we have already cleared the quest" asked Roland.

" I said soon because one of our own has exhausted himself out during the fight and will need days to recover those energies, so until then we are going to be staying in this place" replied Gray.

" Can't even get up after facing a demon and you two are claiming he is strong enough to beat. What a joke" said josh.

" Don't worry soon enough you are going to know why I said he is stronger than you" said Gray as he pat josh on his shoulder.

" What a burden to wait for a weakling to recover before going back" complain josh.

" He doesn't have to recover to his peak, as long as he has recovered enough energy that will enable to allow him work then we will head back" said Gray as he head back to meet up with Ray and Ellis again.

" Hey Ellis" call out Gray as he approached them.

" What is it Gray is there a problem" asked Ellis

" Not really, I just wanted to ask how is it going with your recovery" replied Gray with a smile plaster on his face.

" Oh right now I haven't been able to recover five percent of my energy due to the fact that I used it all up" replied Ellis.

" I see" said Gray as he begins to contemplate before continue with his questions.

" How many days will it take you to gather enough energy that will sustain you back to the guild since we have to make a report about that statue".

" Hmm, it will take me at least two to three days for me to recover five percent of my energy, but the problem is that I won't be able to protect myself from any attack in the wild" replied Ellis with a question.

" You can leave your safety in my care and not them" said Ray as he was assuring Ellis that he is willing to keep watch over him.

" It's settled then, you can go back to whatever you are doing" said Gray as he walks out but stop and look at Ellis before saying. " Before I forget, josh challenge you to a fight after your recovery".

" What is wrong with you guys, how can you book a match behind my back without even asking if I accepted the challenge" asked Ellis in rage.

" I thought you would be willing to have a fight with him and since you just broke through your first, it will be great if you can practice your new find strength with a living target" replied Gray seriously.

" Although I broke through my first

" What is there for you to be scared of when you can easily beat the crap out of him. I wish he could have chosen to have a fight with mean" said Ray with a sigh as he rested his hand on the cheek.

" I also forget to tell you that we are stacking a bet here, and you get to win the fight, forty percentage of the incoming will be giving to you so think this through before you decline" said Gray before leaving.

When Ellis heard he will be given forty percentage of the income if he were to win the fight, he smiled meekly before yelling for Gray to hear.

" Don't worry brother Gray, after I am fully recovered I will personally come to you for the match".

" With the contribution point I will get as payment for winning, I will be able to buy more resources and continue to improve my cultivation base" said Ellis with a smile on his face.
