" You see if we were to leave this place without sending the demon back, it will only be a matter of time before the demon activate the rune again and summon more of her kind" replied Ellis.

" But there is no way we can win against it even though it is almost drained of it spiritual energy" said Ray.

" And who told you we won't be able to beat it now that it is in a weaker state," asked Ellis.

" We can't because she is far too strong for us to handle. Look when I tried probing it cultivation base, Only to come out with nothing" replied Ray trying to convince Ellis.

Crossing its arm in front of the incoming arrow to receive the attack and that's when a yell was heard when the arrow landed on the demon.

" Josh and Roland it is up to you now, make sure to cripple it two leg" yell Ellis.

Making their move, Josh and Roland left their position as they charge towards the demon with their weapons ready to attack at anytime. Seeing the humans charging at it, the demon swing it tail at them since it is the only thing it can do but since it was frozen in place, its attack became very slow.

Making sure to avoid the demon tail, josh and Roland delivered a heavy blow to the demon, causing it to fall back. Shooting a dark smoke from its mouth towards it attacker and at the same time swinging its tail at josh who seen to be the closest target to the demon. But unfortunately for the demon, its attack could not hinder him. Knowing how cunning the demon, they never let their guide down.

With the protection from his spiritual energy, they were able to nullify the dark smoke that the demon spat out of it mouth. Sending a heavy kick to the tail that was coming after him, josh sent it swinging to the side before slashing his sabre on the demon leg, causing a dark black blood to drip in the floor.

" Looks like it won't be a difficult to take it down" said Ellis before making his move.

Dashing forward as he gathered energy in his fist, Ellis went for the demon and landed a punch squarely in the face of the demon, and it was crashing into the wall. Meanwhile, the moment Ellis attack connected, was the time the same time the thirty seconds they had to deal with the demon was up, and the demon could finally move at will again.

Coming out of the wall, the demon began to laugh as blood continue to drip from it leg, but it let the demon could not feel the pain it's feeling.

" That's not what I expected from you guys, but I am impressed you were able to catch me when I let my guide down" said the demon with a smile on it face as it walk out of the hole that was created from the crash before continuing its word with a look of disdain in it face. " But unfortunately for you, that's the only chance you have to get rid of me".

Stepping forward, the demon launch at Ellis who had sent it crashing into the wall as it scratch it claws at him in mid-air, but Ellis was able to evade the attack. Seeing is attempt to claw the human in two has failed, the demon move once more as it continues to attack Ellis while ignoring the rest.

" Hey is it just me or is the demon wary of Ellis" said josh.

" Come on we need to fight the demon altogether and suppress it before it gain it energy back" replied Gray as he went after the demon to provide support for Ellis.

Keeping his blade, Ray also dash forward while holding his blade as the engaged in a fight with the demon but shocking to them, the demon only swing it tail which grew fat at them as it continues to go after Ellis who could only dodge the attack of the demon.

" It's not taking us serious" said Ray as he cloaked his blade in spiritual energy before sending a wind slash slash at the demon.

Not expecting their attack to pass through it tails, the demon was knock down by the attack. Taking the opportunity, Ellis went to regroup with the others before the demon will come chasing after him again.

" Thanks guys" said Ellis after meeting up with the rest.
