" Yes I am, please I beg you sir take me away" replied Ellis as he continues to laugh.
" If you are looking for someone who will take your life, you can go look for someone else" said Ray as he turns to the rune no longer talking to Ellis.
When the other saw how they were playing around, josh couldn't help but curse at them only to be told by Gray to keep his mouth shut as he walked to join Ray and Ellis by the rune.
" So how is the sealing going" asked Gray when he was close to them.
" It's going well although slow but me are making progress" replied Ray before turning to Ellis and said.
" Hey pig I am running out of energy, feed me some potion".
Getting up from where he sat, Ellis walk up to Ray with a frown on his face as he said.
" You really need a girl to feed you this potion instead of me, it is really embarrassing you know" said Ellis as he feed him the potion.
" I since I don't have it better you do it, isn't that right Ellis" replied Ray with a smile.
" Can we just move on with the sealing said Ellis as he went back to sit down.
" That potion you just drank, what is it" asked Gray after seeing it closely.
" Who you mean this, it is a potion that helps in restoring lost energy" replied Ray as he threw the bottle of intermediate Mana potion at Gray.
Catching it before it could fall, Gray begin to study the bottle and after sometimes he gave it back only for Ray to reject it.
" You are letting me keep this"asked Gray in surprise.
" Sure, since you have not fully recovered, it will be great if you can regain your energy for just in case I wasn't able to close the portal" replied Ray.

" Are you saying you won't be able to seal the portal" asked Gray in fright.
" Everything was going well until josh distracted me, and now it's becoming difficult for me" replied Ray while turning to look at josh.
Nodded his head, Gray went to the corner and drank the potion before sitting down cross leg and started to cultivate. Feeling the energy flowing through his meridian, Gray body shook in excitement as he continues to meditate.
" Do you think it is a good idea to tell him about the potion" asked Ellis as he looked at Gray meditating from the side.
" What is the point keeping it secret from him when we have an incoming battle ahead of us" replied Ray as he continued to feed the portal with energy.
" I still don't think it is a good idea to let him have it" complain Ellis.
" You should be trying to recover your energy as fast as possible but here you are complaining" chuckle Ray.
" I have more than enough energy for me to make a run for it when thing do not go as planned" replied Ellis.
" Why are you so keen on running" asked Ray with a smile.
" That's because it's the only way I can save my skin from being food for the demon when it comes out" replied Ellis.
" I see you are really scared of death" said Ray with a laugh.
" Who isn't scared of death" replied Ellis.
" Everyone is scared of dying okay but running away is what a coward will do" said Ray.
" Yes that's what I am, a coward and the reason I am still alive is because of being a coward" said Ellis in anger.
" Hey calm down bro, I was just teasing you" said Ray and was just about to continue saying when he heard the system notification.

[Sealing progress: cancelled]
" What is happening, there is no way the process should be cancelled it's not just possible" said Ray.
Hearing the complaint, Ellis turn to look at Ray only to see him looking at the rune without feeding it with his energy. Ellis stood up and walk Towards him before asking.
" Hey why did you stop feeding the portal with energy".
Turning to look at Ellis, Ray said.
" It suddenly cancelled out".
" It cancelled out not because you were successful in sealing it asked Ellis.
" Exactly, and I wasn't done with the process when it cancelled out. Now all we have to do now is preparing for what is about to happen," replied Ray.
' I knew things will end up like this and I warned him, but he refused to listen, now we'll have to fight' thought Ellis as he shook before saying out loud for the team to hear.
" Listen up everyone, the portal has become active again due to the seal losing its effect on the portal, so embrace yourself to fight".
When the announcement was made by Ellis, those that were still meditating stop at once and the fear of a demon crossing over to the human realm frighten them to the core.
" I knew he won't be able to seal it" said josh in anger.
" Josh right now is the time for us to think of a plan to handle the demon before it successfully cross over here and not the time to start arguing with each other"said Gray to josh.
" No leave him let him argue the way he likes since he is confident in taking the demon down single-handedly" Ray replied to Gray.
" You must be crazy, do you think the demon are just like every other animals that you will just slaughter like you want" said josh who is already on the verge of exploding.
" You can't blame me for that, since you can still have the mouth to argue, I thought it would be the same, but it turns out you are just a whiner" said Ray as he shook his head at being ashamed of him.
" Come-on guys, we need a plan here so stop the argument and let's think of something" said Ellis who continuously look back at the rune to see if any demon will pop out of the portal.

Magic that is nascent and unexplained, one where you can be the one to Discover it, by delving dark dungeons or examining magical Beasts, by studying ancient scrolls or by finding lost gods, your Imagination is the only limit.” This is what Mike thought he was getting into when he lay down to play a new VR game, but fate had another thing in store for him, he was whisked away to a new world in another Dimension, with an AI fused to his body that refuses to let him treat this world as a game, all the while trying to make it as much like a game as it can. The only Objective he is given is to Discover Magic as he learns to survive and live in this new world, doing the best he can to not die, or even worse. *** Hi All! This is my story, it has been brewing in my mind in various forms for years. It will be rough, this is the first story I have written in a long time, so please help me make it as great as it can be! It is a High Fantasy adventure/Isekai LitRpg, it will have action and adventure, levels and dungeons, Elves, Dwarves and Gods. It is not a Virtual Reality story, though it will touch on some topics of artificial intelligence. The core focus of the story is going to be the discovery and deep delve in the magic system and fantastical elements of the world. Mana is used so often in LitRPG's but how often is it explained what mana is, magic is used in fantasy, but how often do you understand what it feels like. Magical races like Elves, Dwarves etc. often exist in stories, but why do they exist? and what truly makes them different from Humans and from each other? What is a God and where did they come from? These are the sort of topics that I want to really dive into in this series, all through the lens of a progression focused LitRPG. Thanks for reading!

The Cyclical Nature of Time
A girl’s life ends unexpectedly early, or so it would seem. Instead of eternal nothingness, she wakes up in an empty valley with no clue how she got there. Taking her predicament in stride, she sets out to do something about it. Unfortunately for her, the first couple of people she meets aren’t much help. They claim they haven’t heard of electricity and dress as if they were on a break from their job at a Viking-themed amusement park. MC is a somewhat normal girl. She's pragmatic and not very angsty. The story is tagged with anti-hero, but to be clear, she is not a villain. She does good if she can, she just isn't morally motivated to do so. The story starts out smelling of fantasy but will eventually shift towards sci-fi. It contains some supernatural elements and has a strong lead, but it is not your usual power trip. Expect a story that takes its time, but not to the point where entire chapters are spent on mindless chit-chat. I’m not into that. This is my first serious attempt at writing and I've learnt a lot writing this. Unfortunately, that shows. Chapter 1-10 is slow and rather pointless. Things get better, but it is not until chapter 25 or so that I began understanding how to structure chapters and to make them support the larger story. I publish about 3000 words a week (every sunday) but I write about 10000 words a week. Sticking to that pace, which is easy, the last chapter will be out by July.
