Josh was just standing there while looking at the statue in shock.

' That's impossible, my sabre is an advance weapon, there is no way a statue like this could destroy it' josh thought to himself.

" Josh get out of there right this minute" yelled Gray at the stiff josh.

Hearing Gray voice was what brought him back to reality, looking at the statue once more, josh threw the sabre handle on the ground before running back to meet up with the team. After getting close to them, Roland sigh and pat his friend on the shoulder.

" It won't be easy to destroy that statue, at least not with our weapon" said Roland to josh.

" What do you mean by that" asked Josh while looking at Roland?

" The statue made from superior ore and according to what the others are saying even a saint grade weapon could only leave a scratch on it, so don't feel ashamed of losing your weapon. For it would have been the same result if we attack it together" replied Roland.

" Also this will also stand as a lesson for you" said Ray right after Roland comforting.

" And what is that" asked Roland knowing that the youngster is about to cause trouble.

Ray chuckle as he looks josh straight in the eye before saying.

" Never rush out doing things on your own when others are just watching to see what happens. This will stand as a good example for you".

" Hey kid you are really getting under my nerves" said josh with a grin on his face.

" And what are you going to do about it" asked Ray while for folding his hands in front of his chest.

" I am going to beat the leaving hell out of you" replied josh with an angry look.

" You have already lost your sabre, are you planning on losing a leg or arm" asked Ray with a laugh.

Gritting his teeth in anger, josh body begin to give out a raise in aura due to being enraged, and he stared at Ray. Feeling the killing intent that is coming out from josh boy, Ray took out a blade with a smile on his face as he said with a wave of his hand.

" Come on then, let's get this started".

" Will you two just knock it off, do you have to pick a fight with each other whenever you are together. And by the way" said Gray coldly at the two.

" By the way we are about to face a demon and if you really want to fight, you can save the energy to battle with the demon after it's arrival" said Ellis while looking at Ray.

Josh withdraw his aura and stood back before calming himself down and turn to look at the statue. While keeping his blade in the scabbard before walking up to Ellis.

" How are you feeling now" asked Ray after walking up to him.

" Much better than last time" replied Ellis.

" Good, so will you be able to fight when the demon arrived" asked Ray.

" Nope but I think I can make a run for it when demon comes" replied Ellis with a smile on his face.

" Are planning on dishing us when the demon arrived" asked Ray when he heard Ellis statement.

" Am not saying I am going to dish you guy when the demon comes, but I am going to save my skin when things go sideways" replied Ellis.

Ray sigh before turning to look at the rune created by the blood. And by the look of things, he was not the only one that is staring at the rune anxiously for the rest were also anxious about the arrival of a demon.

" Why is it taking so long for the demon to come out" said Ray who was already getting tired of waiting.

" It's going to take sometime for the portal to activate on the other side before the demon will have to go through it. So we can use this time to regain our strength in other to stand a chance against it when it arrives" replied Ellis who already has his eyes close in meditation.

The group nodded before sitting down cross legged and went into a meditation state except for Ray who just stood there while looking at his stats.

" Ah, am still far from attempting a breakthrough, just don't know why it became so hard to gather exp even after doing quests that involve killing tough opponent" said Ray to himself.

Looking at the rune that is drawn from blood, Ray suddenly thought of an ideal and went close to the rune before asking.

" System, will it be possible for you to close this portal".

[Affirmative, but I will need a lot of energy from the host in order to seal the portal].

" Great since it is possible let do it" said Ray happily when he heard the system saying it can be sealed.

Standing close to the portal, Ray stretched his left-hand forward with his eyes closed as he begins to concentrate on the task at hand. And that when he received a message from the system asking him if he wanted to proceed with the sealing of the portal. Clicking on the yes option, Ray felt his energy draining from his body at an incredible speed as it begin to head to the rune. Those that were meditating felt the spiritual energy in the area surging and were not able to concentrate on their meditation any more, opening their eyes to see what is happening only to see Ray standing by the rune with his hand pointing at the rune and energy seem to be going from his hand and went into the rune.

" Hey you what are you trying to do" yell josh in anger as he toward Ray.

When josh ran at Ray, the others couldn't sit down and watch what will happen next as they also dash forward. In no time, josh was already standing next to Ray who still have his eyes closed. Seeing that Ray was not responding and continue to feed the rune with his energy, he gave Ray a punch on the cheek that makes him staggering backwards, although the punch was not powered by energy, but it was more than enough to distract him.

Opening his eyes, Josh felt an intense killing intent coming from Ray. Taking a step back, josh was already feeling a cold chill running down his spine when his gaze met with Ray's gaze.

" How dare you" said Ray in a deep voice as he unsheathed his blades from the scabbard and walk towards josh.

" I don't want to hurt you, so just calm down" replied josh as he continued to step back.

" You don't want to hurt me eh, I dare you to give it a try and see for yourself if you are even good enough to make a scratch on my clothes" yelled Ray as he sent a wind slash at josh.

Not excepting Ray to send an attack at him, josh quickly sent a kick fussed with energy at the attack which end up moving to the side and exploded. Turning to look at the attack going sideways before it exploded, josh shook his head and said.

" Are you trying to kill me or what".

" That right I am going to kill you and leave your corpse here to rot. I told you earlier as a team not to act rash when you see something you know nothing about and now I am going to kill you before the demon comes out" replied Ray with a stern look on his face as he continues to walk forward and at the same time sending another wind slash at josh.

Getting rid of the wind slash once more, josh decided to attack instead of just defending himself, but before he could make a move, Ellis and the rest has already caught up to them. Standing in between Ray and josh was Ellis who has an angry look on his face as he said.

" That's enough Ray".

" Get out of the way Ellis or don't blame me if I accidentally hit you" said Ray as he looked at Ellis.

Ellis was shock to see Ray not backing down and knew something must have happened. Taken a deep breath he said.

" I know you are angry at josh but whatever he did was just to protect every".

" Protect you say, that was what I was planning on doing when I was depleting my energy to seal the portal leading to the demon realm only for this idiot to attack me" replied Ray.
