The team of hunters were baffled by the weird action of the expert.

" What just happened" asked Ray.

" I don't know, but it's not going to be anything good" replied Gray.

" Oh well since they are already dead, I'm going to help myself with what I can take" said Ray as he skips to where the bodies were.

" What is wrong with that kid" said josh when he saw Ray's approaching the body.

" It is better you leave him alone and since there storage ring won't be of any use after their owners are dead, it is better to let him have it. Unless you want to have a go too" replied Roland to josh with a smile on his face.

" Nah, I am not interested in the things of the dead" josh wave his hand in decline.

" Since you don't have any interest then leave him alone will you" said Gray.

After getting to where the first body was laying, Ray bent down to look for the expert storage ring and that's when he saw the expert blood flowing towards the statue and the other three bodies were also going through the same process. Looking at it for a while, Ray forgot to look for the storage ring and was just looking the blood flowing towards the statue.

" Guys I think you need to see this" said Ray still looking at the blood.

Walking forward, they stared at the pool of blood with a frown on their face.

" Do any of you know what it means" asked Ray.

But the group shook their head which annoy Ray the more.

" You don't know what it means, and you all have a frown face" said Ray.

" With intent we can tell it is not going to be good news" replied josh.

" Hey guys what's that let me see" said Ellis who still have not recovered from the lost of energy and was laying on the ground.

Realization dawn on Ray as he went to get Ellis. Anyone from the team could not figure out what the flow of blood meant, he would. Taking to him, Ray carried him and took him to where the statue is and place him face down so that he would be able to get a look at it.

Ellis stare at the blood for some time before going silent.

" Did you figure anything" asked Ray who seen confident in Ellis.

" There is no record about any of this, so it won't be easy to understand" replied Ellis as he continued to study the blood.

They spend a lot of time studying the blood as more blood continue to flow towards the statue and that's when Ellis thought of something and turn to Ray before saying.

" I need someone to take a look at the whole thing from above".

No problem" said Ray with a thumbs up before turning to Gray and said do you mind".

Walking forward, Gray held on to Ray tightly before gathering energy into his arms and with great force, he launched Ray into the air.

After going high up, Ray looks down at where the rest were standing and that was when a strange image came into sight, unlike when he was still standing near the blood it looks like just a pool of blood but the view he got from the sky is different. Releasing his energy, he begins to descend at a fast pace and with a thud he crash on the ground.

" Ahh, I still need to walk on my landing" said Ray in pain.

" Were you able to see anything" asked Ellis.

" Yeah when I was up in the sky, the blood were nothing like what we are seeing now" replied Ray.

" I thought as much, so what is it then" asked Gray.

" It was more of an image and nothing else" replied Ray before taking out his blade and begin to draw on the floor.

After drawing what he saw in the sky, Ray kept his blade back and moved to the side for the other to see. Taking a closer look at what Ray has drawn and they it all.

" Isn't that a rune" said josh taking his face off the drawing.

" That's a rune alright" replied Gray.

" What does it mean then" asked Ray while looking at them for answers?

" The problem is we don't know what it is" replied Gray.

" What do you think it is Ellis" said Gray as he turned to Ellis who has been quiet ever since Ray drew the image?

" It's not a rune but a portal that connect the human realm to the demon and can only be done by the use of the human blood if am not mistaking" replied Ellis.

" Are you saying this is a portal leading to the demon" asked Josh.

" Like I said am not too sure myself, but it should be" replied Ellis.

" Since you are not too sure yourself, why don't we just get rid of the blood and stop the process from completing" said Roland.

" That's a good idea, lets just do that" said Gray as he moves in place with the rest to get rid of the blood.

Seeing their action, Ellis shook his head with a sigh.

" Am afraid that won't be possible since it has already begun, there is no way to stop the process from completing" said Ellis.

They were shock stiff and already getting scared of the worst if the portal should complete and that's when Ray said.

" Guys I think something is going on with the Portal".

" The portal is already activated and a demon is about to make an appearance" Added Ellis making the group more scared

" What's there to be so scared if the demon coming out is only weaker than us" point out Ray when he saw the Gray and the rest were acting.

" That true, any demon can go through the portal and by the way this portal is not strong enough to lead a powerful demon to this realm" replied Ellis.

When the group heard this, they sigh in relief. Warping the sweat from his head, Gray said.

" If it is just a lower demon, we can just send it on is way before it will cause some trouble".

The others nodded in agreement and drew their weapons out while waiting for the demon to come out. As the blood continue to flow towards the statue, the statue began to glow in a purplish colour and a foil aura begin to sip from the statue.

" Are you sure a demon is going to jump out of the portal" asked Gray when they felt the foil aura coming from the statue instead of it coming from the portal that has already been completed.

" Am ninety percent sure a demon will be teleporting out of the portal" replied Ellis with a frown.

" If you are so confident in your observation than why is that foul aura coming from the statue" asked Josh in anger.

" That I don't know but believe me when I say a demon will be coming out" replied Ellis.

" To hell with you and your nonsense words, I am not just going to stand here while doing nothing and wait for a demon to come out" yelled josh in anger as he dashed at an incredible speed towards the statue.

Raising his sabre up high, with enough power he swing the sabre at the statue with all the strength that he could call upon and land a direct hit on the statue.

After the sabre struck the statue, the purplish light that was coming out of the statue dim down a little before lighting up more than it was before. Meanwhile, the sabre that struck the statue was unable to leave a scratch on it and instead the sabre begin to have cracked all over and broke into pieces of metal with Josh still holding the handle.

" That's impossible, I know josh sabre is only just an advance weapon, but I just can't believe that the grade of the ore used in making the statue is higher" said Roland in shock when he saw josh sabre breaking into pieces.

" Correct, the material that are used to making the statue can only be found in the demon realm and the upper heaven, a saint grade weapon can only manage to leave a scratch at it if not less" replied Ellis while looking at the portal for any abnormality.

" If they are that rare, then how did this people manage to get their hands on the statue" asked Ray.

" Maybe it was given to them by their superiors" commented Gray.

" Since you knew that this would happen, then why did you choose to keep quiet and watch him destroy his sabre" asked Roland.

" Which I told him that striking the statue could only lead to this would he have listened to me" replied Ellis with all seriousness.

" At least you warn him beforehand" said Gray as he turns to look at Ellis.
