"Just because I space out does not mean you have the ability to take my life young boy" replied the leader of the worshippers while putting his hand down.

"Hahaha we will have to see about that" replied Ray with a laugh.

' What is wrong with this kid, it's seen like they have a plan on how to get rid of me. I have to be prepared for whatever trick they have up their sleeve' thought the leader after hearing Ray's laughter.

Seeing how the leader of the worshippers became wary of them, Ray chuckles before swinging his blade at him at a lightening speed. The leader of the worshippers was able to retaliate with a kick of his own while pushing back a little.

" What is the matter old man, you seem to be attacking carefully unless previously when you lung on us like a wild beast" said Ray as he come to a stop.

" That because am human and getting adapt to the flow of the battle is very important for all cultivators, don't you think" asked the leader of the followers.

" I know about that, and I also know that you are scared of what we could do to you if you make a wrong move" replied Ray with a smile on his face.

" A little kid like you acting mighty in front of an expert like me" said the leader as he glared at Ray.

" Enough with all the bragging and come at me"replied Ray.

The leader gritted his teeth in anger before he ran after Ray but this time he didn't hold anything back as he begins to bomber Ray with attack. With each strike Ray will be sent back.

Not ready to be on the defensive side, Ray begins to release attack after attack on the leader and before long they have thrown more than a hundred blows at each other. Although the fight looks like the two of them are evenly match, but with every attack that was sent at Ray is either being blocked by him or he was hit by the attack.

' When is he going to be ready' thought Ray as he continued to exchange blows with the leader.

Meanwhile, the others were fighting intensely with their opponent though the sustain lot of injuries during the fight, but their opponent were not left untouched.

" You guys should get out of this place said Gray to Nicholas and Amanda who were fighting close by.

" We can't leave you guys here alone to fight them all" replied Nicholas.

" We are worried about hurting the hostage so leave" said josh.

Nicholas nodded at them when he heard they are holding back their attack since the hostage are still in the building, which is not good for them. Taking the lead, Nicholas begins to move forward towards the exit as he defended from the front while Amanda defend from the behind.

" Hahaha, telling them to leave while you all are still inside tell me are you that confident the likes you can defeat us" said the expert that was battling with Gray.

" That's not our problem even if we lose our life here, at least we fought to the bitter end while not holding back" replied Gray as he thrust his spear at his opponent.

Hitting the spear with his palm before sending a palm stroke at Gray, the palm attack left many afterimages as it head for Gray, but before it could get close to him, Gray begin to spin the spear around while infusing his energy into the spear before swinging it upwards after infusing enough energy into it and a big spear made out of energy left for the palm attack, while destroying it after coming in contact with the palm. And the spear did not fade away after destroying the palm instead it went after the expert who call upon all the power he could mutter as he sent a powerful punch at the incoming energy spear. After the attack collided there was a little explosion not giving his opponent the time to launch an attack, Gray dash forward as he swing the spear at the top of the expert head only for the expert to raised his hand above his head to block the attack with his knee lowered due to the impact of the strike.

With a kick Gray sent the expert flying while throwing a mouthful of blood in his flight before falling on the ground.

Gray was breathing heavily and lay unto his blade to keep himself from falling before turning to the location where the other are fighting and seeing that they are doing well Gray sighed in relief.

" I wonder how those kids are faring" said Gray as he turned to take a look at the fight going on in the distance.

" Their condition is worse than ours and there is no way I could give them a hand" said Gray when he saw how beaten Ray is.

" Hey Ellis are you not done with it yet" asked Ray after he was sent flying back by the leader's fist.

" Am almost there just hold on for a little longer" replied Ellis who was standing with his fist under is stomach.

" Hold on for a little long, am already at my limit, and you are telling me to hold on for a little long. Now I know you really want me dead" said Ray in anger.

When the leader of the worshippers heard what they are saying, he remembered that he just forgot about the other boy. Sending a punch that is made out of energy at Ray to keep him at bay, the leader ran towards Ellis in his top speed.

Seeing what the leader was trying to do, Ray rolled to the side to avoid the punch from hitting him before getting up and ran after the leader and at the same time, he was sending wind slash after wind slash at him.

The leader of the followers created an energy shield that took care of the wind slash sent by Ray as he continues to run toward Ellis. Even with his eyes closed, Ellis was able to tell that the leader in close by.

Ellis begin to gather more energy and at the same time, he began to lose weight like someone who has been starving for a year's, but his fist was saying a different story.

It felt like all the energy in Ellis's body are being drained into the fist. After gathering enough energy, Ellis draws his hand back before throwing his fist forward before yelling.

" MIGHTY LION FURY"

What came out of the fist when it was thrown forward was a gigantic lion head that was made from the spiritual energy in Ellis's body. But unlike the previous time he unleashed the mighty lion fury, the gigantic lion that came out of the fist was already taking the form of a life lion instead of spiritual energy.After Ellis break through the flesh refining stage, his technique also make an improvement too.

Since the leader was not expecting Ellis to make that move, he was hit by the gigantic lion which took him up into the sky. Seeing that the leader has already been hit, Ray stop chasing after him and gathered his energy on his blade ready to use his technique the flame burst together with Ellis technique the moment it explodes to increase the might.

After gathering enough energy, Ray slashed upward sending a little candlelight at the leader of the followers and the moment the light touches his body.

" EXPLODE" said Ellis in a very weak voice.

The gigantic lion and the light from Ray's attack exploded at the same time with the leader of the followers being in the middle of the explosion. Scream could be heard coming from the midst of the explosion and those fighting couldn't help but turn their heads to see what is happening only to see the two youngsters standing while looking at the big ball of hell in the sky which only indicate the one scream was the leader of the followers which was caught up in the flame.

Laying on the ground, Ellis watched the sky as he said with a smile on his face. " I need a drink"
