Looking around in search for Ellis, Ray still could not find him, and he mumble.

" I thought the system said it detected a life force so where is here hiding".

" Hey system where did you detect the life force is coming from" asked Ray to the system.

" But I don't feel anything like an energy in the area" said Ray to himself as he continues to look around in search for Ellis.

Meanwhile, Amanda just lay on the ground with tears running down her eyes with Nicholas who stood by her side to console her.

Seeing how the group of hunters became down and lost the will to fight, he chuckles before saying.

" There is no need for you all to mourn for the dead since you will be joining him very soon" said the leader of the worshippers with proud of taking one of the hunter down and was just about to say more, but that was when he was interrupted by a deep voice coming from the east and though it was very low but every soul that is present were able to hear it clearly.

" Enough with the bragging, you couldn't even get the job done. Ain't you ashamed that am still alive after attacking with your ultimate technique" said Ellis as he stomped on the ground while walking towards the group from a distance?

" He actually succeeded in breaking through the mortal shackle just like captain has said" said Gray who seen to know why Ellis is experiencing such a change.

" Did you just say that he just broke through the first stage of the body refining" asked Josh in disbelief.

" Yes josh before they join the squad, he was already not far to breaking through the mortal shackle" replied Gray to josh questions.

" But it's very rare to see someone cultivating their flesh instead. Who could have believed that Ellis chose to cultivation both the body and the spirit" commented Roland.

Ray walk up to Ellis and patted him on the shoulder while laughing.

" I knew you would be able to take that attack with that turtle shell body of yours" said Ray.

" What can I say, he almost had me there if not for utilizing the Golden-Quake technique to harden my body when the cocoon was struck by the energy ball and I actually got a breakthrough after forcing my limit" replied Ellis while scratching his hair.

Turning to look at the lady sitting on the ground with a shocking look on her when she saw that he is alive after being hit by the energy ball, turning back to Ray Ellis asked.

" Do you still have those potions with you".

" Yeah, here it is" replied Ray with a chuckle before handing over an advance health potion and Mana potion to Ellis.

Walking to Amanda after receiving the potion, Ellis hasn't to walk far when one of the expert that was facing off with Ray charged at him.

" Just because you gain a breakthrough you think you are now strong enough to take us on, what an arrogant prick you are if you really think so" said the expert as he charged at Ellis.

Ellis just scoff when the expert charge at him and threw a punch packed with his new-found strength and his cultivation base at the expert. Slashing his saber at the incoming fish, the saber and fist collided which caused a little wind to blow and then came the sound of something cracking up. Taking a look at the saber at the point where the fist has been planted, crack begin to spread.

Pushing the saber upward with some strength from the punch. Ellis was able to push him unbalanced taking the opportunity provided, Ellis threw a powerful punch at him which sent him flying and crash on the ground.

" Hahaha, thanks for making the work easy for me" said Ray with a chuckle before going after the wounded expert and took his life.

" Sigh, it's not even enough for me to level up to stage two" said Ray with a disappointment and turn to the remaining expert before saying.

" I guess I will have to kill more of their elite to level up.

Pulling his hand back, Ellis continue to advance toward Amanda. Ellis squat and hand the potion over to her with a smile on his face before saying.

" Am sorry for making you worry about me, here is a potion that will help replenish your energy".

Amanda nodded as she took the potion from him and got to work. After drinking the potion, she open her eyes wide in shock as she discovers the rate at which she regained her energy back. Normally it will that about some weeks for a cultivator to regain his or her lost energy after taking some vital pills, but this potion was different, within ten seconds she's already back to her peck.

" This is a good medicine, where do you guys purchase it from" asked Amanda as she got up on her feet.

" That is our little secret"replied Ellis with a smile.

" Anyway now that you have recovered your strength, you should go help Nicholas take care of the little flies" said Ellis seriously as he looks at the leader of the followers.

Amanda nodded as she went to give Nicholas a hand.

" Since you like to bully the weak so much, here is a low life for you to bully" said Ellis as he spread his arms wide.

" Don't be so arrogant boy, you are still far away for being a good match for me" replied the leader.

" I know I won't be a match for you in a one on one fight, but you can say the same against two opponent" said Ellis with a smile on his face as Ray walk up to him with his blades by his side dripping blood on the ground.

" Hahaha, and you think a first stage foundation realm like you two is more than enough to get me down. Please enough with the jokes OK" replied the leader as he burst into laughter after accessing Ray's cultivation base.

" Let's see if you would be able to keep that smile of yours" said Ray to anger of the way he is been look down.

Taking a step forward, Ray rush at the leader and swing his blade in attempt to take his life, only for the leader to send an attack of his own at the blade. And it seems like the leader attack is more powerful than Ray attack. Ray was being pushed backward by the force of the attack and the leader was just about to follow up with another attack only for him to move to the side while to avoid the sudden attack of Ellis.

" Let's see how long you will be able to dodge our attack" said Ellis as he continues to attack the leader while Ray send triple wind slash at the leader to distract him only for them to discover that he could actually take both of their attack without even breaking a sweet.

Ellis turn to look at Ray only to see Ray nodded in agreement. Leading the attack, Ray ran forward to intercept the leader while Ellis have the chance to gather enough energy to perform his grand attack.

" You think I didn't know you two are planning how to take me down" said leader while chuckling before he begins to exchange blows with Ray as he tried to find an opening to get to Ellis as he is ignoring Ray. But he begins to find out that the more he fought with Ray the more Ray attack begin to get stronger.

" How in the world is his doing it, is this one of those technique those demonic cultivator used when they are in a dire situation. But it's impossible" said the leader in a low voice.

" You are wide open" said Ray as he sent a sword attack from the sky.

Placing his hands together, the leader from an energy blade that he swing at the incoming sword attack by Ray which put a stop to it.

" Just because I space out does not mean you have the ability to take my life young boy" replied the leader of the worshippers while putting his hand down.

"Hahaha we will have to see about that" replied Ray with a laugh.

' what is wrong with this kid, it's seen like they have a plan on how to get rid of me. I have to be prepared for whatever trick they have up their sleeve' thought the leader after Ray's laughter.
